We aren't launching a tv channel, we are launching a NETWORK! Much bigger and better! Just keep in mind there will be problems along the way, EVERY TV Network encounters these problems... You can rent a summer home from anywhere from 30k - 90k dollars for one to three months... And guess what, THESE AFFLUENT GAY PEOPLE CAN AFFORD THAT! They think NOTHING of spending 90 THOUSAND DOLLARS ON A THREE MONTH SUMMER HOME!!! I think they can pony up the 100 dollars a year for Gay TV... Its not the number of channels you own that make you a 'Network'... CBS Tv, NBC, ABC even PBS are all 'Networks'... A channel is more like, The Movie Channel... Ya know... However durring the 1990's all these Networks picked up other programming in an attempt to spread themselves out, however Qbid is trying to be a Network, which in my eyes goes MUCH further... They can do reporting and have access to politicians, ect, things they may not necessarily be able to do if they call themselves a 'channel', ya know? -John- IP: Logged

It amazes me how everything is so quiet and just the few close friends have a nice time while we're waiting for the launch and then let one good thing happen and the true to life slugs come out of the woodwork. I'm as sensible as the next guy and probably tighter with money than most everyone here. (Does the term "make a penny squeal" mean anything to any of you? LOL) At one time I respected U4 though many didn't. All I have to say is: U4, if you're getting paid to be a basher, you must have one terrible life. And if you are doing it pro bono...you must not even have a life. I confess to being realistic now and not expect to be a millionaire in a month or two, but I foresee a bright future and that comes from DD...mostly by others and then verified by myself and Dakota. Sure I would like to see .01...but been there, done that and it was so fast it didn't last long. I'll take slow and easy but sure anyday. The PR did not say we got a package deal for 5 movies, it said "Some of the great dramas to be seen on Q include...". It also states "These films are an eclectic collection of dramas, musicals, comedies and mini-series...". I won't argue the quality of the examples given since I don't think I've seen any of them. NOWHERE does it say how many films are involved. It gives some examples but does not say that's the entire collection. If you have FACTS, fine. But when the PPS is falling the bashers stand a slight chance because people will start thinking, and the bashers create a snowball effect. I am still holding but it is getting harder every day. There is simply no explanation for the lack of professionalism - like a web page would barely pass as an 8th grade project and promotion - no sponsership of pride events and not generating the kind of free publicity that something so controvecial should. When CBS Television Network was simply CBS Television affilities all over the country, they were called a Network, even though they only had 'one channel' at the time, CBS... When Viacom bought them out, then they got MTV's packages of Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, VH1, MTV1 MTV2... Ect... They were a network before the conglomerate of what we see today... (Lol CBS hasen't produced good 'news' in some time lol... By far the WORST channel to watch in NYC,lolol! And CBS was at one time THE TIFFANY Network of networks! pretty sad...) IP: Logged

The month of August was a pretty good month of they bought anything back, ya know... The price was .003-.004 at some points... Not sure if you invest in or pay attention to "real" companies trading on NASDAQ or NYSE, but you might want to read some of their PRs just to get a glimpse of what things should look like. The company I work for announced a buyback a few months ago. So far I've seen several PRs related to financials that included a statement along the lines of "200,000 shares were purchased this month in the buyback program.." If they were really doing a buyback, or at least knew what they were doing, you wouldn't have to speculate about these kinds of things. They would simply tell you. -R IP: Logged
