Tire maker offers full-blown support to homosexual activists

[BACKGROUND: FROM THE AFA- Pulling out all the stops, tire and rubber company Bridgestone/Firestone (BFS), has entered into an “extensive commitment” to make sure their stores see the increased traffic of homosexual lovers, cross-dressers, and gender-confused customers. In a news release by BFS last week, company spokesman Michael Fluck said Firestone is “extremely pleased” to include homosexuals, bi-sexuals, lesbians and transgenders in a targeted marketing effort. Fluck said BFS will direct company profits to sponsor exclusive agreements with Triangle Television Network and major homosexual magazines, such as Out, Genre, Curve and The Advocate. In addition, BFS will sponsor homosexual web sites PlanetOut.com and Gay.com. Dr. Don Wildmon, President of American Family Association (AFA) said, “Every American family who buys Firestone tires may should be alarmed by this dissuasive direction of the company. With each purchase, their hard-earned money is going to help fund gay pride parades, homosexual television shows, and full-page ads in homosexual magazines.” Wildmon thinks Firestone’s move will further harm the company’s already damaged image. “Bridgestone/Firestone is selectively recruiting customers based solely on bedroom behavior - men who have sex with men, women who have sex with women, and those who aren’t sure what sex they are.” He said this decision won’t be well received by many current Firestone customers, the traditional American family.]

Gameznflix said they would begin airing
their tv ads on March 27 (tomorrow) and
it according to their last press release,
things are on schedule. Ibiz said they would
be begin shipping the keyboards late march, early april and that has been confirmed. I'm amused by all the pep talk about how qbid will pop and run-up very soon. I am holding a healthy share of qbid myself and hoping for that run but without more details, exact dates, and "kept promises" such as with gzfx and ibzt, just what will cause that drastic run? Cheerleading is comforting to read but sometimes we have to be hardcore truthful in order to see clearly. I'm holding for now, no rush to buy without some more good pr.

Triangle Multi-Media Limited, Inc. (OTC: QBID) (the “Company” or “TMM”) was organized to create and develop a network devoted to providing both television and radio programming for the gay and lesbian community. While TMM expects much of its subscriber base will be comprised of members of the gay and lesbian population, management also believes that quality programming about the gay and lesbian experience, designed to entertain, educate and inform, will be attractive to many other segments of the viewing public.

In order to attain these goals, contracts have been negotiated with a national satellite provider to distribute our programming, on a subscription basis, no later than September 5, 2001. The Triangle Multi-Media Television Network will broadcast 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Providing distribution via satellite ensures availability of the Triangle Multi-Media network across the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

The Company’s Market

The gay and lesbian population offers one of the most attractive demographic targets in the United States. The gay and lesbian community is highly educated, has a household income over 60% higher than the average American household and tends to have a much higher level of disposable income than the national average. Additionally, this niche group is disenfranchised from American society and effectively overlooked by mass marketing mediums. Occasionally, a gay character will spring into the spotlight of the mainstream media; however, those are few and far between (one of the most recent examples being the NBC program Will & Grace which features a gay man sharing a home with a straight female). The fact major networks and cable channels are beginning to offer programming and characters based on the gay and lesbian experience provides justification for the increased acceptance of gay and lesbian programming.

The gay and lesbian community has over $514 BILLION dollars in annual disposable income – a number simply too big to ignore. And, this estimated value does not include the ancillary market—friends of gays, parents, children of gays, and more. The value of this audience is overwhelming. To quote Simmons Market Research Gay & Lesbian Market Study (1997), “respondents are well-educated, affluent, sophisticated customers who show loyalty to advertisers willing to take the risk of marketing to them. Overlooking these individuals in any effort to cultivate a new consumer could mean the difference between profit and loss and it validates the value and purchasing power of gay and lesbian consumers compared to the general population.”

Distribution & Programming

The TTN viewing audience will have to subscribe to both TTN and the satellite provider in order to receive our programming. By having a subscription requirement as part of the distribution vehicle available through both satellite and digital cable (versus analog), TTN has effectively provided a “double-lockout” situation for the general public. Additionally, there is a program lock-out function generated by the satellite provider that acts as a third level of screening for people not interested in viewing TTN. Both the programming and advertising standards for the Triangle Television Network will always adhere to the National Association of Broadcasting requirements

The Triangle Television Network’s programming schedule will include movies, sitcoms, game shows, documentaries, news, finance, news magazines, travel, cooking and much more. Films and movies will air midday and overnight with serials being aired in primetime (6-9pm PST). We will be showcasing gay and lesbian films, entertainment programs and weekly serials from around the world. Our news and news magazine programs will cover world affairs, politics, festivals, local news and events throughout the United States and many other topics; all of which may have a slightly different twist when taken from the gay and lesbian perspective.

Revenues - Advertising, Retail Sales, Monthly Residues

The Founding Sponsors Promotional Package is a one-year package that encourages major advertisers to formalize their commitment in supporting the alternative marketplace. The Founding Sponsor program allows companies to dollar cost average their advertising dollars budgeted for the gay and lesbian market. In addition to extensive commercial and sponsorship exposure time on our television and radio network, all founding sponsors will have a significant presence in the TTN Programming Guide. Additionally, our founding sponsors will receive placement and recognition on our Internet web site, all TTN sponsored events, promotions and print placement To date some big names are rumored to be signing up for the founding sponsors promotion.

Showcase Sponsors – Advertisement sold on time, not including Founding Sponsors. Programming such as movies, sitcoms, plays and religious services will be broadcast uninterrupted. Based on our programming guidelines and founding sponsor requirements, TTN will have 2,167 minutes of ad time available monthly under our Showcase Sponsor program. The following annual average rate per minute applies

America Finally Gets Gay TV Network
by Alessandro D'Amico

America's first full time gay television channel goes on the air Friday. Called 'here!' the pay per view channel will
be available to Direct TV subscribers.

I’ve always liked the concept of pay per view: You don’t need to get out of the house, you just sit on the couch, play with your remote, and voila! The movie you wanted to see is !here!

Paul Colichman and Stephen P. Jarchow, acclaimed film producers (Gods and Monsters) and co-founders of here! Pay Per View are behind the new station which boats it is "dedicated to serving the country’s gay and lesbian audience."

'here' will be on Direct TV's channel 170. It will offer two to six pay-per-view premieres each month for $3.99 per movie (why drive to the video store?) The full schedule for the new channel is in the new edition of Monkey Magazine so you may want to keep it next to your remote control.

Here are some of the highlights for here!'s first month:

Sordid Lives
The highest grossing independent gay & lesbian film of 2002, starring Olivia Newton-John, Beau Bridges, Delta Burke, Bonnie Bedelia and Leslie Jordan, Sordid Lives puts a comedic twist on a story of unconditional love, acceptance and “coming out” in a Texas family as they converge for the matriarch’s funeral.

The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me
Acclaimed filmmaker Tim Kirkman brings David Drake’s riveting one man Off-Broadway play The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me to the big screen. Charting a molten course through the depths and shallows of urban gay male experience in nine interconnected scenes, David Drake powerfully portrays a multitude of characters exploring and exposing the sexual, spiritual, and political yearning at the heart of gay America.

It’s in the Water
Big hair, eccentric personalities, and Southern manners collide when an AIDS hospice opens up in a sleepy Texas town. As a result, local conservatives are forced to their wits end and rise up, trying put an end to it. Alex, a married woman bored with her mundane social life and distant husband, goes against the tradition of her peers and accepts a job at the hospice. This leads to an unexpected romance with another co-worker — who happens to be a woman.

Canada's PrideVision TV network will be two years old this September. The digital cable station has had financial problems for more than a year. Last winter most of the staff was terminated and the company said it was looking for new investors. Nevertheless it says it hopes to enter the US market late this year or early in 2004.

I was told that they will not disclose anything before an official announcement is made. However, they did tell me that they normally add new stations/networks quickly if demand is there

Not much longer now. Soft launch in May. By the end of Summer they should be going 24/7.
By this time next year we should be over a dollar.

"These are the good old days!"

Triangle Multi-Media Limited, Inc. spent millions of dollars and was organized to create and develop a network devoted to providing both television and radio programming for the gay and lesbian community. While they expected much of its subscriber base would be comprised of members of the gay and lesbian population, management also believed that quality programming about the gay and lesbian experience, designed to entertain, educate and inform, will be attractive to many other segments of the viewing public. The Company's network tried to feature radio and television programming that was directed at the gay and lesbian marketplace in the form of news, entertainment, sitcoms, and a movie of the week.
In order to attain these goals, contracts were negotiated with a national satellite provider to distribute programming, on a subscription basis. The Triangle Multi-Media Television Network would have broadcast 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Providing distribution via satellite across the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

Specimen Certificates are actual certificates that have never been issued. They were usually kept by the printers in their permanent archives as their only example of a particular certificate. Sometimes you will see a hand stamp on the certificate that says "Do not remove from file".

Specimens were also used to show prospective clients different types of certificate designs that were available. Specimen certificates are usually much scarcer than issued certificates. In fact, many times they are the only way to get a certificate for a particular company because the issued certificates were redeemed and destroyed. In a few instances, Specimen certificates we made for a company but were never used because a different design was chosen by the company.

These certificates are normally stamped "Specimen". Most of the time they don't have a serial number, or they have a serial number of 00000. This is an exciting sector of the hobby that grown in popularity and realized nice appreciation in value over the past several years.

Our members profitability is the primary goal. We believe the current valuation is extremely low. In our opinion the trading range should be significantly higher.

During this time we will continue to send other company profile alerts of potential percentage gainers as the situation warrants.

PRIDE COLA AND TRIANGLE TELEVISION, YEAH RIGHT!

metroG Editorial
June 13, 2001

TTN Can't Get Their Network 'On The Air', So Now They Are Going To Put Pride In A Can?

PALM SPRINGS, CA -- Still another delay from the people at Triangle Television Network appeared on their Internet site over the weekend. The current airdate as of June 8, 2001, according to TTN, is September 5, 2001.

In a metroG exclusive report (Will Dish Serve Up Gay TV?) dated January 26, 2001 our Crusader reported a start up date of February 2, 2001, after he visited their studios (then known as the Gay Television Network). Since then the name has been changed and the excuses, postponements and promises of an airdate have been so numerous that metroG has lost count.

Triangle Multi-Media Limited, Inc., claims to have invested approximately $7 million in money and commitments to develop TTN, which will provide a very large number of gay and lesbian programs for DishDirect Satellite Television.

Now, Triangle Multi-Media Limited, Inc., says they are going to put gay pride in a can and call it Pride Cola. On June 11, 2001 Triangle Multi-Media Limited, Inc. Executive Vice President Dick Weiner, announced to PRNewswire, the creation of Pride Cola. According to Weiner the cola will be "100% gay" and will be distributed in gay communities only.

Pride Cola is to be a combination of spices and fruit flavors, enhanced with vitamins it will also have double the caffeine of regular cola and will be made with pure cane sugar, according to the press release. Weiner added, "With Frank Olsen's experience in the private label cola business over the years, we believe this will be a big success." Pride Cola will be available in selected stores on August. 20, 2001.

Now I have to ask myself here, do I want to see a bunch of gays and lesbians running around town filled with "spices and fruit" on a "caffeine high" with "elevated sugar" levels? This might not be a pretty thing to see!

Weiner also said, "We like to be known as the erotic cola," implying that the product is already on the shelves and will somehow improve our sex lives. Personally, I suspect that Weiner and Olsen may have already been drinking this stuff and it could have affected their brain cells. The specialty soft drink rollout of Pride Cola is to feature three flavors: cinnamon cola, cranberry splash cola and erotic cherry cola. It will only be available at gay-friendly establishments, gay events and gay bars.

My wise grandfather used to say, "Believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see." The bottom line of the current rollout for TTN reads "A rose by any other name...". I say, "To be or not to be, that is the question..."

TRIANGLE TELEVISION NETWORK SCAMS AGAIN

(GLINN, 10-08-01)--- In a previous news story, GLINN reported that Triangle Multi-Media, Inc., the operators of the Triangle Television Network are running a stock scam and that the company is operating in California illegally. We previously exposed their national advertising campaign as a fraud. Triangle claimed a contract with the DISH Network and advertised this in their full page newspaper ads, on the web and in news releases. This was a total fraud. They did not have and never had a contract with DISH.

Later, apparently they did work out a contract but never made the payments required under the contract, thus it never went into effect.

Triangle advertised they were launching on September 5 and claimed they were broadcasting a signal via C-Band satellite. No source could verify they were transmitting. Later reports indicated they transmitted for 3 hours. The host of their "Good Morning Gay America" show removed TTN information from his web site and has posted his resume.

This stock has been the subject of paid manipulation, and has been pumped by paid promoters who have posted numerous lies and misleading statements in various public forums.

Although Triangle has issued numerous press releases, they have not followed through on a single one and have never successfully accomplished any of their claims. We view Triangle as a complete stock fraud and swindle. There are reports that it is being investigated by the California Attorney General which is considering both civil and criminal prosecution.

NO CIVIL OR CRIMINAL PROSECUTION HAPPENED.

First 24-hour gay TV network debuts in Canada

• Companies try gay banner ads
• Tanqueray rides new road
• Stand by your brand

Gay television doesn't just mean "Will & Grace" anymore. The world's first full-time gay TV channel arrived in Canada last month, from a company expanding beyond its core sports network business. In the US, Triangle Television Network tries to get off the ground and Showtime, MTV, HBO, and others are taking serious looks at their own concepts.

While others PROMOTION

have explored the idea of a gay network before, none have previously committed millions of dollars to building one.

Canada's publicly held Headline Media Group has launched a multi-million dollar subscription-based gay-oriented network called PrideVision for digital and satellite TV services in Canada. The new network is spending $5 million in programming alone for the first year on a mix of popular series from England like "So Graham Norton" and "Metrosexuality," as well as US shows "Queer As Folk," MTV's "Undressed," "Will & Grace," Dyke TV, gay episodes of programs like "Third Rock From the Sun," and "ER," as well as original newsmagazine "Shout." Next year, more new programs are planned.

HMG already does well with its St. Clair sports publishing and production group and The Score network, which is four years old and pulls in 4.8 million subscribers for broadcasts of Major League Baseball, WWF and hockey events. The company has $66 million in assets and completed a $30 million public offering on Apr. 30 to help fund the launch.

Canadians will be able to preview the gay service free for three months, then will have to subscribe -- a portion of the subscriptions provides PrideVision with revenue. The monthly fee will vary from operator to operator but will be equal to "the price of a martini or two," according to a spokeswoman.

Major Canadian media company Chum Limited originally competed for the rights from the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission, which oversees specialty TV formats nationally, to build a gay network. The CRTC decision surprised some, as the more diverse Chum already owns 16 specialty channels, including Bravo in Canada, MuchMusic (a sister of MTV), along with 7 local TV stations and 28 radio stations. The group also had a two-year-old, half-hour newsmagazine program called "QueerTelevision," now on hiatus due to HMG's win and other issues. (PrideVision will pick up the episode archive, which was also licensed for Internet broadcast by San Francisco-based PlanetOut.com.)

Gay TV in the U.S.: Triangle, C1TV

For years, several in the United States have dreamed of starting such a venture patterned after the Black Entertainment Network, but enormous startup costs, reluctant advertisers, distribution challenges and perhaps even late timing within the gay movement have brought significant obstacles.

After a series of false starts, Triangle Multi-Media Limited of Palm Springs also launched a 24-hour network last month -- but no one can see it yet as the company works out distribution issues. Earlier this year the company sought to be carried on Echostar's DISH network, but various disputes arose over costs and DISH's objection to the original name Gay Television Network, which was changed to Triangle Television Network.

Triangle spokesman Frank Olson says the company is now pursuing distribution on cable companies and is also in early discussions with DIRECTV, with hopes for some pickup of the network by late this year.

"The difference between us and PrideVision is that we don't have the must-carry rule in the U.S.," says Triangle spokesman Frank Olson, referring to guaranteed channel distribution in Canada.

Triangle has already spent $6 million in mostly private investment so far and projects a $12 million budget for its first year -- though the other $6 million remains to be raised. The network plans not to carry commercials but will have sponsorships like those on public television.

The company has 31 employees, including five sales people, four in programming and other support staff. Olson claims that the company's recent advertising has attracted 19,000 people willing to pay $65 a month to get the network as soon as it is available, and that they have already provided their names and credit card data.

Meanwhile, year-and-a-half old Miami Beach-based C1TV claims on its Web site that it also has plans to go 24 hours at some point. C1TV did not return calls for details or comment.

Currently, the small group creates just several hours a month of original content. While CEO David Sine declined in past interviews to specify the group's amount of investment, it has used the money to get U.S. rights to the British "Queer As Folk" and "Two Fat Ladies" cooking show to help grab viewers' attention. Sales of the "QAF" series on video and DVD in partnership with PlanetOut Partners have exceeded $500,000, according to PlanetOut executive Megan Smith.

Showtime, MTV and HBO consider gay programming

This year, major players Home Box Office and Viacom's Showtime and MTV networks began exploring the idea of gay programming, too.

HBO considered a block of gay programming that would have combined its original content such as "If These Walls Could Talk 2" and "Six Feet Under" with recent gay cinema hits like "Trick" and "Broken Hearts Club," along with older movies like "A Star is Born" and concerts from Madonna, Cher and Bette Midler. But HBO insiders say the idea has been put on hold, as the company didn't want to simply repackage content without also developing dedicated programming.

A few weeks ago, research firm Greenfield Online polled gay respondents about their feelings on the possibility of a subscription-based, 24-hour gay channel and suggested it might be produced by Viacom properties MTV or Showtime. Poll questions suggested the plan would offer not only repackaged material but also original talk shows with gay hosts, music video shows, dating/relationship game shows, stand-up comedians and coverage of gay and lesbian news and events.

The idea follows the successful launch of "Queer As Folk," which has won Showtime much attention and ratings, and reveals increasing interest in the power of gay viewers. Earlier this year, the network launched the gay market's largest-ever ad campaign, estimated at $4 million for gay media alone.

Meanwhile, Canada's HMG says it hopes to connect with an American distributor by summer 2002, though technically its satellite footprint already covers the states. The company declines to say who its potential partners would be.

Selling a new medium to advertisers

PrideVision is now pitching ad agencies about the opportunity to reach a potential gay audience of between 2.1 million and 3 million in Canada, which lacks a strong national magazine. While the opportunity may seem alluring to some interested in the gay market, HMG must convince sponsors to try a costly new medium to reach gay audiences.

It doesn't look to be easy.

Indeed, PrideVision launched without charter advertisers and, likewise, QueerTelevision went without much advertising for two years and Canada's Showcase cable network reportedly also had trouble selling the edgy "Queer As Folk" to marketers.

The trouble is, television ad time costs more to buy and few advertisers have appropriate commercials that can speak directly to a gay audience. "If the only (ad imagery) for a car company has a man, woman and kids hopping into a vehicle, it really wouldn't target our audience too well," notes Jason Hughes, director of sales at PrideVision. "They find it a challenge -- they want to, but don't have the creative" imagery available.

Thus, getting involved with gay TV demands much greater financial commitment than most advertisers in the gay market have previously offered since ads for gay newspapers, magazines and web sites are cheap to produce, often with some modified text on ambiguous imagery. And up until now, there were so few TV options to reach the gay community that advertisers have not much worried about such questions.

"It was tough finding a client to come on board" for QueerTelevision, notes Marci Martin, vice president and general manager at Chum. "This is such a strong niche market, but it's a leap for them to go from print."

Perhaps optimistically, HMG estimates the channel will bring in $500,000 in its first year. Revenues on the company's existing businesses for the nine months ended May 31, 2001 increased by 145.3% to $21.9 million from $8.9 million for the same period last year it reported.

Nonetheless, with increasingly major media players' involvement, gay television looks to be sneaking its signal onto consumer and advertiser screens. New gay networks and programming, if successful, have the power to bring gay marketing to a whole new level.

tidbits
Gay TV 'straightens'

The Gay Television Network will finally debut in April, after months of delays reportedly brought on by Dish Network executives who objected to the word "gay" in the channel's name, the Southern Voice reports. GTN will now be called Triangle Television Network, under a new deal with the Dish Network, which will send out the signal for the station over its satellites.

"They didn't like us calling it the Gay Television Network for their TV guide and things like that," said GTN founder Frank Olson. "So, to make compromise so we could get things moving forward, we compromised to call it the Triangle Television Network." Olson said the network has 4,000 subscribers signed up to get the signal through Dish Network for an extra $19.95 a month.

The new campaign for Triangle TV has not only excised the word "gay," it refers to the network as the "first television channel for America's alternative lifestyles." The network also changed its web address from www.wearegaytv.com, to triangletelevisionnetwork.com.

AFA Activism
Action Alert - 12/13/01
Tire maker offers full-blown support to homosexual activists
Firestone is "extremely pleased" to include homosexuals, bi-sexuals, lesbians and transgenders in a targeted marketing effort.
E-mail this page to a friend
December 13, 2001

Pulling out all the stops, tire and rubber company Bridgestone/Firestone (BFS), has entered into an “extensive commitment” to make sure their stores see the increased traffic of homosexual lovers, cross-dressers, and gender-confused customers.

In addition, BFS will sponsor homosexual web sites PlanetOut.com and
Gay.com.

Dr. Don Wildmon, President of American Family Association (AFA) said, “Every American family who buys Firestone tires may should be alarmed by this dissuasive direction of the company. With each purchase, their hard-earned money is going to help fund gay pride parades, homosexual television shows, and full-page ads in homosexual magazines.”

Wildmon thinks Firestone’s move will further harm the company’s already damaged image. “Bridgestone/Firestone is selectively recruiting customers based solely on bedroom behavior - men who have sex with men, women who have sex with women, and those who aren’t sure what sex they are.” He said this decision won’t be well received by many current Firestone customers, the traditional American family.

Firestone’s employees are not happy about the company’s new endorsement either. Wildmon said he was contacted by employees hoping a vocal outcry by consumers will send a strong message of disappointment to Bridgestone/Firestone President John Lampe.

ACTION NEEDED
AFA encourages you to support the many Firestone employees who are discouraged by their company's decision to support homosexuality. Contact these Bridgestone/Firestone officers and let them know homosexual behavior should not be encouraged, endorsed, or supported.

===> 7 July 03: (Revised): There is evidence now, via persons communicating with TW, of TTN trying to arrange a first wave of simultaneous separate PRs issued through multiple local TW marketing units from around the country. ===> 4 July 03: At a time when the summer heat is still heading in the upward direction, it seems intriguing that TMM is suddenly reversing itself by switching back to regular-season hours! Yet, today's updated after hour phone recording states that TMM's "new" summertime hours will be 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM starting next Monday, 7 July.

===> 30 June 03: Amazing 737 million shares traded today! Intraday high upticked to $0.0003. Next best chance for first round of PR's seems to be immediately after the upcoming 4th of July weekend. Meanwhile, check out today's AOL TW's "Opportunity Investment Fund" announcement. http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/030630/305395_1.html .Could one of the upcoming PR's be similar to this but with Triangle's name in it?

===> 27 June 03: Now prominently posted on Triangle's web sites: ON QBID SITE: <><> "Qbid takes Pride in the announcement of TTN, inc., in which Qbid has a vested interest, concerning their relationship with Time Warner Cable. For further information please see TTN's website at http://www.triangletelevisionnetwork.com " ... and ON TTN SITE: <><> "TTN PROUDLY ANNOUNCES A 10 YEAR NATIONAL CONTRACT WITH TIME WARNER CABLE. Target Cities and Launch Dates are currently being reviewed and will be announced soon. Watch For Further Announcements." <><> In the meantime, just two days ago a U.S. Supreme Court decision was handed down that overthrew Texas' anti sodomy law that was being used to discriminate against gay couples. And just a few days before that, Canada legalized same sex marriages. Certainly we are at a point in history where acceptance of gay rights is accelerating and is in the forefront of the news. Is the order and close timing of the above events a complete coincidence, or is there something more going on here? The scope and (arguably) almost urgent tone of TTN's post sure seems to be signaling the possiblity that TW has now abruptly entered a "get TTN on the air around the country without delay" mode.

===> 23 June 03: PR on 24 or 25 JUNE? Two callers reaching separate people at the company, and reporting on another board, are told there might be a PR tomorrow or Wednesday. Huge volume uptick today to over 97 million shares; price jump at end of day to close at $0.0002!

===> 21 June 03: IMPORTANT POSITIVE BREAKTHROUGH HAS APPARENTLY BEEN REACHED WITH TW IN ONLY LAST DAY OR TWO that will permit the release of considerably more information on the contractual relationship between TW and TTN. A PR may come out the week of 23 June that could reveal this relationship publicly for the first time. If so, the PR will likely also reveal fresh evidence of TW's attempts to get TTN launched at the first opportunity. This could finally mark the beginning of very exciting times for TTN (and for QBID Shareholders). Question:...Could news a couple of days ago proclaiming that same sex marriages in Canada are now legal have anything to do with what is happening?

ON TV

Groundbreaking gay-themed channel enters the picture
By Suzanne C. Ryan, Globe Staff, 8/28/2003

After a year or so of industry talk about the concept of a gay-themed TV channel, DirecTV is taking the plunge tomorrow, launching the nation's first channel aimed exclusively at the gay and lesbian market.

Here! Pay Per View is a movies-only channel available to subscribers of DirecTV, a digital satellite-television service, who can use their remote controls to select from a rotating list of four to six new films a month on Channel 170. The fee per movie is $3.99, which will be added to viewers' monthly bills.

To be sure, the channel is limited in scope. DirecTV has only 11.5 million subscribers nationwide. Still, like other niche efforts before it -- such as Black Entertainment Television and the male-focused Spike TV -- here! is groundbreaking. It also comes at a time when the presence of gay characters on television has generated lots of buzz, with this summer's ''Queer Eye for the Straight Guy'' and ''Boy Meets Boy'' on Bravo.

''The potential here is exponential,'' said Scott Seomin, a spokesman for GLAAD, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation. ''The channel could decide to do a block of gay and lesbian reality shows. It could have an hourlong talk show about the transgender community. It could start to produce its own sitcoms and dramas. Television is such a copycat medium. We hope that not only is here! successful but that others will copy its success.''

Last year, MTV and Showtime -- both owned by Viacom -- announced plans to collaborate on a gay-themed channel. The timetable for that plan has since been slowed due to the economic climate, Showtime said.

Filmmakers Paul Colichman and Stephen J. Jarchow created and financed the here! channel through their film company Regent Entertainment. They chose pay-per-view as an outlet because it was a much cheaper option than launching a traditional 24-hour channel.

Colichman, who coproduced the Academy-Award winning ''Gods and Monsters'' in 1998, said the movies on here! will include dramas, comedies, and thrillers, featuring characters who happen to be gay. He said, ''In each case, we will be looking for media images that provide validation and support for the gay community.''

The channel's initial movie premieres will include 2002's ''Sordid Lives,'' a comedy about coming out to a Texas family as it converges for a matriarch's funeral. The film stars Olivia Newton-John, Beau Bridges, and Delta Burke. ''It's in the Water,'' released in 1999, is a story about what happens when an AIDS hospice opens in a small, conservative Texas town. Alex, a woman bored with her marriage, goes to work at the hospice and discovers romance with a female co-worker. ''The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me'' is an adaptation of a one-man play by David Drake that explores the urban gay male experience.

Colichman said he is looking for sponsors for the channel so ''the gay community will know who is supporting them.'' To date, the magazines Out and The Advocate have signed on. He declined to name any others. Sponsors will get PBS-style credits, rather than running ads that interrupt programming.

The entrepreneur hopes to expand beyond DirecTV within six months and have here! listed as a pay-per-view or video-on-demand service on cable systems nationwide. In March, the channel intends to launch a 30-minute late-night talk show called ''hearsay!,'' which will be hosted by an as yet unnamed gay man and straight woman. ''It will be an alternative to Letterman and Kimmel. Something female-friendly and gay-friendly,'' he said. That show will be aired at no charge to viewers -- both to DirecTV subscribers and, Colichman hopes, subscribers to ordinary cable services.

By next summer, Colichman hopes to have launched a few scripted series, which would be available for a flat monthly rate, probably about $8.99. ''We have six in development. I'm not sure how many will make it.''

He has plans to air original movies as well.

Michael Thornton, DirecTV's senior vice president of program acquisitions, said clustering such thematic programming on one channel is an experiment for the satellite service, which typically offers 55 pay-per-view movies each day for its subscribers. ''This is something we thought was very worthwhile to try,'' he said. ''What remains to be seen is whether other mainstream media will support this group of individuals to the point where they don't need a channel targeted at them. The broadcast networks already have shows like `Will & Grace.' But will they step up and provide more to satisfy this audience?''

Colichman is skeptical. ''Shows like `Queer Eye' are designed more for straight viewers than gay viewers. They want to introduce the straight community to gay people,'' he said. ''Our channel is going to fill a different need.

''We will show relationships in the gay community. A hug and a kiss between two men is still controversial on broadcast TV. We will show gay people at home with their boyfriends or their children. We are also concerned about gay teens not having proper role models. They need to be able to see people like themselves on TV as successful and enjoying life.

''And while it's great to have this image of gay people as having exquisite taste and eating at the finest restaurants, the reality is that the gay community is so much broader. We want to show that.''

TV'S GETTING THE ‘QUEER’ MAKEOVER

BY SHIRLEY BRADY

With Bravo's Fab Five making TV history, last week's historic election of the first openly gay Episcopal bishop and June's Supreme Court ruling legalizing gay sex, art and life are seeing (queer) eye to eye.

Queer Eye for the Straight Guy set another record last week. Episode four on Aug. 5 posted the second-highest numbers (a 2.38 household rating and 2.7 million viewers) in Bravo's history, topped only by the show's July 29 telecast.

Bravo's owner knows a good cross-network commodity when it sees one. NBC is again re-airing the show, this time in its original one-hour format, during its Aug. 15 Thursday prime-time comedy block after Will & Grace. Later that night, the Queer Eye cast jumps to The Tonight Show where they'll outline their plans for Jay Leno, his band, even the set. They'll return the next night to show America the results of their “make better” approach to late-night TV.

Bravo president Jeff Gaspin says he wants to attract the broadest possible audience. “I don't look at Queer Eye as a gay show,” says Gaspin, who's ordered another seven episodes. “It's a makeover show that happens to have five gay men in it.”

It's praised by the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, though spokesman Scott Seomin is less taken with its lead-in, Boy Meets Boy. TV's first gay-themed reality series nabbed 1.2 million viewers in its 9 p.m. time slot Aug. 5.

Gaspin says that of the pilots that Bravo had shot before NBC bought the cable network last December, Queer Eye “was the only one that had potential. It had charm, it was different, and it certainly got my attention.”

AMC SVP of programming and production Rob Sorcher hopes to generate as much buzz for The AMC Project: Gay Hollywood, an original special running Aug. 11. “We're in the happy moment of what seems to be the programming trend of the moment,” he says.

Showtime, a champion of gay programming with marquee titles such as Queer as Folk, starts running The L Word, an original series about lesbians, in January. Likely to win favor with critics and viewers, would its success revive Viacom's plans for Outlet, a 24/7 premium gay channel?

Howard Buford, CEO of ad agency Prime Access, says with the success of Queer Eye — and with gay and lesbian annual spending power estimated to be $500 billion — the timing is ideal. “We have had great results by crafting almost a ‘gay network buy’ on cable with networks like HGTV and TLC, which have high viewership among women and gay men,” he says. “But there is a real need for…efficient TV programming to help advertisers reach [the gay] demographic.”

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE NEXT QUESTION:
Will cable systems carry Here! PPV, the first gay-themed pay-per-view service, launching this month on DirecTV, or Triangle TV, which inked a hunting license with Time Warner Cable last year but has yet to get carriage?

Companies Lauch Gay TV Station

Triangle MultiMedia hopes to have the network ready for a soft launch in mid-May 2004.

By Lisa Johnson

PALM SPRINGS, CA
You knew it was coming. Gay TV has finally arrived. Triangle MultiMedia Ltd., Inc. (QBID) just announced the creation of a new television network. This 24-hour channel will feature a broad spectrum of programming directed at gay and lesbian audiences.

The network will feature original plays, motion pictures, series and documentaries as well as sports, travel and lifestyle programming combined with live news broadcasts and specials. Triangle MultiMedia Ltd, Inc. has contracted with Network Teleports Inc. and its president Barbara Lamont to coordinate the launch, webcasting and satellite uplink on a popular C-band cable bird whose footprint reaches all of North America.

Providing all technical and programming aspects are met, the network will have a "soft" launch by middle May 2004, running one-hour sampler programming blocks in various dayparts to give cable operators a chance to preview the network. Regular programming will begin transmission via satellite and will be available as a subscription channel on selected cable systems once all transmission issues have been resolved.

For additional funding, chairman Frank Olsen has created a Sponsorship Program aimed at large corporations. These select few corporations will receive preferred status regarding advertising and placement on the network during the first broadcast year. The company's sales team has already begun targeting these organizations.

Ok after reading all of these articles from 2001, I'm about 90% convinced that this is a scam. I still have plenty of shares and even have more on the way, because I fully expect to make money on it. However, I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for this to go to air.

It looks like we're seeing the same stories from 3-4 years ago. "Contract with major network..." "Talented executives hired.." "Air date no later than..." Didn't happen then, why are we expecting it now?

Has anyone seen this contract with T-W? Why is it that we know about it, but the company is saying they won't show us until it's official? If it's not official, why are they issuing press releases about it? Have we seen any of these stories from external news sources, or is all the information we have just from internal PRs? Al Franken is all over the news because he's starting up a liberal talk radio station. Don't you think CNN, FNC, MSNBC, etc would at least *mention* a gay tv station that's set to air in 45 days, given the current political climate over the issue?

The inital air date was May 1, but got bumped to May 15... no biggie. My prediction though, is that it will get bumped again.. and again... and again... It will be like the IBZT thread titled "VKB ships this week!" that is now 2 months old and 30 pages long with everyone saying "next week.." It'll get a nice run-up to the middle of May while some dump for profits and other hang on like Slim Pickens at the end of Dr. Strangelove. Think I'll make some phonecalls on Monday to get some more information.

Not sure how long that post will stay up BUT anyway- Robin, look at QBID's 5 YR chart. It shows a high of .40... Then a drop and a nice bump up in 2001 then a FLAT line till now. All we need is a nice bump up again. The way I see it is, it went from .0017 to .0036 within a week (100%) All I need is for it to go to .0050 and I'll be happy. Follow it and see how it does.
I had invested in a stock that went from .12 to .08 to .02 always hoping it would just bump up --- It never did and just liquidated. I lost everything.
Get in QBID now and maybe you can make some money before it really does take off. To much talk about Gay marriages,ect..to drop all shares..I'm in for the long haul. Do your research and dont forget to post back here. Thanks

I do understand what you are saying, but in most of these posts whether the author of the PR says TMM or TTN, it has something to do with qbid. I know there is a Triangle Network in North Carolina...and it is confusing when searching for articles about qbid. If it doesn't mention qbid , or gay television, I don't bother posting it. Most of us are highly invested in this and looking for information, sharing the pros and the cons. I don't think any of us are trying to confuse anyone on purpose....but I apologize if anything I posted did that

OK. Someone please investigate these posts/members! We can't have false statements like that. It is misleading therfore defeating the purpose of a great forum.

Here is a Question & Answer from Frank Olsen few months ago. It is TTN! Email me if you want the link.

Today's News
QBID: A Conversation With Frank Olsen
PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Feb. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --
During a question
and answer session between Frank Olsen, CEO of Triangle Multimedia, Inc. and a
group of investors, Mr. Olsen was quoted in the following conversation: "I
will try to cover as many topics I can from the calls I have received about
the functions and goals of the company.
"First, we are expected to have a test run on-air beginning in two months
to run indefinitely. By a test run I mean we will be broadcasting on
satellite a signal for our sales crew to approach advertisers and cable and
satellite providers with. You must understand that we are building a network
that will be on the air 24/7 and it is our goal to deliver a polished,
consistent product with longevity. A few movies and a sitcom don't make a
network.
"I get constant questions regarding our contract with the Time-Warner
Cable Systems. Our ten-year contract enables us to place our signal
throughout the Time-Warner system on a market-by-market basis. After we meet
their strict broadcast standards we expect to be throughout their system in
the months to come.
"The next most asked question is when can you expect the next press
release. It will be posted when it is pertinent to the company. Otherwise,
we are planning a phone 'hotline' where you can get constant updates. We are
in the business to make a network of quality gay and lesbian programming. We
understand that the shareholders are the true owners of this network and we
will do our best to keep you updated."

QBID Overview
The Triangle Television Network (the 'Company' or 'TTN'), a wholly owned
subsidiary of Triangle Multi-Media Limited, Inc (QBID) was organized to create
and develop a network devoted to providing both television programming for the
gay and lesbian community. While TTN expects much of its subscriber base will
be comprised of members of the gay and lesbian population, management also

HELLO ROBIN:

REGARDING YOUR MESSAGE BEING POSTED, A COUPLE THINGS INSTANTLY COME TO MIND.

THE FIRST IS DID YOU ENTER YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD TO POST? I KNOW THAT SOUNDS RATHER SIMPLE BUT I MYSELF HAVE ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS DID NOT PUT IT IN OR I FORGOT ONE OR THE OTHER.

THE SECOND IS IF YOU WANT TO SEE YOUR POST IMMEDIATELY, CLICK THE REFRESH PAGE MORE THAN ONCE. SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO CLICK IT 3 TIMES TO SEE YOUR POST AFTER YOU PUT IT ON.

AS FAR AS THE WHOLE SCAM ISSUE; YOU COULD BE ABSOLUTELY POSTIVELY 100% CORRECT!

PREVIOUSLY IN THE 2001 ERA WHEN "EVERYTHING" CAME TO LIGHT REGARDING THIS STOCK AND IT DIDN'T FLY UNTIL JUST RECENTLY, YOU CAN ASK WHAT HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS OR SO. DO YOU COME SO CLOSE TO GETTING A REAL STATION OFF THE GROUND THAT IT TAKES 3+ YEARS TO GET EVERYTHING BACK I ORDER TO TRY IT AGAIN?

LEGTIMATE QUESTION.

COULD ALL THE REASONS GIVEN AS TO BICKERING WITHIN THE INTERNAT STRUCTURE OF QBID BEEN SUCH A DRAMATIC PROBLEM; ABSOLUTELY!

NOW IN THE MIDST OF THE PAST 3+ YEARS WITH TYCO, ENRON, HEALTHSOUTH, ETC.ETC.ETC DOES ANYONE DARE ATTEMPT TO FRAUDENTLY BOAST A STOCK? ADDITIONALLY, THIS IS A STOCK HOLDING A VALUE OF .003 UP FROM .001. WE ALSO HAVE INFO RELEASED THAT SAYS WE WILL NOT GET ANY MORE PR UNTIL WE HAVE THAT ITEM OF INFORMATION CONFIRMED OR IT DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE COMPANY.

WHEN WE GOT TO THIS POINT PREVIOUSLY, THE STOCK FLEW UPWARDS OF $1.00/SHARE. NOW FOR MOST OF US, WE HAVE IN THE BACK OF OUR MINDS JUST THIS THOUGHT AND QUITE FRANKLY, WE AS INDIVIDUAL SHAREHOLDERS DON'T GIVE A FLYING FLIP IF THE STOCK IS A FRAUD OR NOT, ALL WE CARE ABOUT IS AN EXIT POINT OF $1.00 OR LESS. WITH WHAT WE HOLD, GOES UP TO THE .50-.80 RANGE, THE STOCK IS A FRAUD AND NOTHING HAPPENS, AND WE ALL EXIT OUT WITH A NICE FINANCIAL RETIREMENT, AND THAT IS ALL WE TRULY CARE ABOUT. SO FOR THOSE OF US WITH SAY 5 MIL SHARES, EXIT AT .80 EQUALS $4 MILLION DOLLARS AND THE COMPANY FOLDS/FRAUD/INDICTMENT WE AS THE INDIVIDUAL SHAREHOLDER DON'T CARE PROVIDING WE GET OUR EXIT POINT.

NOW IF WE ARE A FRAUD AT AN ENTRY OF .001-.003, THE FRAUD WONT BE FOUND UNTIL MUCH LATER WITH MORE THAN SUFFICIENT TIME FOR US TO EXIT AT SAY .25-.50 WITH A NICE RETURN ON A STOCK THAT WAS TOTAL CRAP!

NOW WITH ALL THAT SAID.

I MYSELF HONESTLY BELIEVE THAT THIS STOCK IS REAL WITH NO FRAUDLENT PURPOSE.

THE RESEARCH THAT HAS GONE INTO THIS TELLS ME THAT IT'S LEGTIMATE. BEING IN THE POSITION OF A STARTUP BUSINESS PREVIOUSLY, I AM PERSONALLY/PHYSICALLY AWARE OF HOW SOMETHING SO PROMISING COULD GET SCREWED UP SO QUICKLY AND 3 YEARS LATER, "HELLO, HERE WE ARE AGAIN". YOU CAN LOOK AT IT FROM THE STANDPOINT OF FRAUD OR A SEASONED STAFF NOW ABLE TO RECOGNIZE PROBLEMS THAT PUT THINGS OFF BEFORE. THAT IS YOUR CALL AND I CAN'T MAKE THAT DETERMINATION FOR YOU.

WELL SO AND SO IS FULL OF CRAP. WELL IT TAKES ALOT OF FERTILIZER FOR A BIG FIELD.

CALL THE COMPANY YOURSELF. SPEAK TO THE CEO AND USE YOUR OWN INSTINCT. EVEN THE GREATEST OF CON ARTISTS GENERALLY ARE SEEN RIGHT OFF EXCEPT YOU CHOSE TO IGNORE THAT GUT WARNING. HOW IS THE INFLECTION OF THE PERSONS VOICE? CAN YOU BE ASKING QUESTIONS AND OUR CEO CUT YOU OFF POLITELY BEFORE YOU COMPLETE YOUR SENTENCE AND ANSWER YOUR QUESTION? DOES HE TELL YOU HE CAN'T DISCUSS THAT ISSUE AND IS THAT REASONABLE FOR HIM NOT TO DISCUSS THAT DUE TO YOU COMING BACK ON THE MESSAGE BOARDS AND BLABBERING AWAY AT THE CONVERSATION YOU GUYS JUST HAD? CAN THE PERSON PROVIDE YOU WITH OTHER CONTACT INFO FOR YOU TO VERIFY WHAT HE/SHE IS TELLING YOU? CAN I PLEASE GET THAT PHONE NUMBER TO TIMEWARNER TO VERIFY YOUR 10-YEAR AGREEMENT AND HE TELLS YOU THAT HE WILL TRANSFER YOUR CALL TO HIS SECRETARY TO GET THAT INFO AFTER YOUR DONE TALKING? DO YOU SENSE HE'S IN A HURRY TO GET YOU OFF THE PHONE TO AVOID YOUR PROBEING OR DOES HE HAVE SOMETHING TO ATTEND TO?

EXAMPLE, I'M A SHAREHOLDER AND BELIEVER OF THIS TV NETWORK AND I MYSELF POSTED THAT FRAUD THING I FOUND IN RESEARCH. IMPORTANT TO NOTE ARE THE ONE'S CLAIMING THAT FRAUD WAS TAKING PLACE AND THAT CIVIL AND CRIMINAL CHARGES WERE PENDING, NOTHING HAPPENED FROM THAT. IT'S SO EASY FOR ANYONE TO POST "FRAUD" BUT IT'S ANOTHER TO BACK IT UP.

QBID IS A FRAUD. <----SEE HOW EASY THAT WAS.

CALL THE COMPANY, ASK YOUR QUESTIONS, POST QUESTIONS ON BOARDS, CALL VIACOM (MTV) CORPORATE OFFICES AND ASK THEM IF THEY HAVE HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT TTN. CALL YOUR LOCAL STOCKBROKER, OFFER TO BUY HIM LUNCH IF HE DOES A BIT OF RESEARCH FOR YOU ON QBID. CALL TIME WARNER CORPORATE AND ASK THEM WHAT'S UP. E-MAIL GAY ESTABLISHMENTS AND ASK THEM ABOUT TRAINGLE TELEIVISION. CALL ROSIE O'DONNELL AND ASK HER AGENT IF SHE'S BEEN CONTACTED TO HELP OUT WITH TTN. WRITE TO PRESIDENT BUSH AND ASK HIM IF HE KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT A CHANNEL ABOUT TO BROADCAST. ETC.ETC.ETC.ETC.ETC.ETC.ETC.

Another reason for the confusion is that at one time qbid owned some radio stations(gay) in the Seattle area I think, but sold them...so at one time they were considered a "multimedia" company...now they are considered a television network. See article and qbid overview below.

===> 8 July 03: From an article at Gay.com ... The plan, first announced by Showtime/MTV in Nov 02, to launch an all-gay, 24-hour cable television channel by the Spring of 03 has been placed on hold indefinitely, allegedly due to the poor state of the economy. After launch, this appears to allow TTN to lay claim to the title "First 24/7 gay TV network in the U.S."

===> 7 July 03: (Revised): There is evidence now, via persons communicating with TW, of TTN trying to arrange a first wave of simultaneous separate PRs issued through multiple local TW marketing units from around the country. Since there would be logistical complexities in getting this to all play together, a few extra days of delay in getting the PRs out should not be unexpected. See also http://ragingbull.lycos.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=QBID&read=70048 . In the meantime, "Pay Per View" and rival "Direct TV" have fired a shot (of sorts) across TWC's (and TTN's) bow: http://www.amtdrt.inlumen.com/bin/story?StoryId=CpWJWqbKbytu0otu

===> 4 July 03: At a time when the summer heat is still heading in the upward direction, it seems intriguing that TMM is suddenly reversing itself by switching back to regular-season hours! It was only a short time ago that the company announced that it had scaled back to reduced hours for the summer (not unusual for P.S. businesses during the hot months). Yet, today's updated after hour phone recording states that TMM's "new" summertime hours will be 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM starting next Monday, 7 July.

===> 2 July 03: Triangle Multi Media President and CEO Frank Olsen gives audio interview on "Wall Street Reporter." Highlights 10 year, multi-city deal for TV carriage via Time Warner Cable, potential for retail product spinoffs, as well as goal to be listed on an exchange by end of 2004: http://www.******************.com/linked/TRIANGLEMULTIMEDIA.html

===> 1 July 03: June 20-26 article affirms that popular actor and producer-director Bob Poirier (AKA Bobby Roger) is coming back to help spearhead TTN launch: http://www.portlandphoenix.com/television/documents/02958184.asp

I see THEM mentioned in this and THEY are making some confused on the research and within the boards being posted. If there is no clarification, we all are bombing away at EACH.

Thanks,
Chuck

U4,

Thanks for the response. I'm expecting a few "KILL THE BASHER" responses in the future. Glad you're keeping your head on straight. Just FYI, I'm currently holding a decent stash of QBID and will purchase another big chunk next week. Yes, even though I think this is possible a scam. I realize that even if it is, it'll make me some money in the short term.. nothing wrong with that. Just need to find the right exit point...

I just think that even though people are excited about this company, they shouldn't let their emotions cloud their judgment. I have some legitimate concerns and I'm surprised that others don't as well.

1) Current press releases are exactly the same as 4 year old press releases. Not sure what's changed, aside from the socio-political climate.

2) Cheesy www.qbid.net website that boldly states on the front page "as long as I'm associated with this company, there won't be a roll back or split.." It looks like this site was half-a$$edly thrown up specifically to get penny investors excited, the only people who'd really care about a statement like that. Shouldn't the homepage of your company talk a bit more about what it is you actually do? I realize they have another website that covers those bases, but at the moment it's not terribly informative. Also, I'm a bit weary about the qualification "as long as I'm associated with this company..." What's to prevent him from no longer being associated with the company? It's like the old bar trick where you put a shot glass under a hat and bet someone you can drink the shot without touching the hat... You tell the guy you just drank it, so he should check. The other guy lifts the hat to see, exposing the drink that you promptly grab. You drank it, but you didn't touch the hat.....

3) Lack of news from outside sources. Given the current controversies surrounding gay issues, you'd think that all of these PRs would get into the hands of someone at CNN, FNC, MSNBC, etc and actually stir up some publicity. Right now all we have is news from the company itself. Anyone could register a company and shoot out PRs all day long...

4) $9.95 a month subsciption? Satellite radio had to overcome the hurdle of getting people to pay $10 a month for 120 channels... I'm not sure how many people are willing to pay that for 1 channel.

5) Read the warning page about Pink Sheets on the frontpage of www.allstocks.com.. there are a few warning signs in that article that should send the red flags way up on this one. One in particular is the location:

"Other suspect cities, which would require EXTENSIVE DD to justify,
include New York City, Dallas, Houston, Palm Springs or other cities of the Coachella Valley, Ft. Lauderdale or other cities in South Florida, any city in Nevada, ANY city in Canada where everyone can short-sell penny stocks, any other "resort" city..."

"If they say the company is moving, under construction or give ANY reason whatsoever for not allowing you there...you have your answer..they are bogus..don't believe them..."

"And if the company does not report their financials to the SEC. . .RUN AWAY. Don't even consider them, because they will surely rip you off any way that they can. And if they SAY that they will soon be reporting their "audited" financials. . .run even faster. . .this means they have NO INTENTION of filing with the SEC. And even if they say "we will be filing with the SEC" or even "we HAVE submitted our financials to the
SEC." DON'T BELIEVE THEM."

I couldn't find anything on the SEC website about them. EDGAR didn't dig up anything for Triangle, TMM, TTN, QBID, Olsen, NTI, nothing. And I think their website has said for the last few months that they're in the process of moving. Has anyone in CA been to their office? I seem to recall a thread in which someone stopped by to take pictures...

On the other hand...

1) It really *is* time the GLTB community got their own voice on the air that didn't just include them as gimmicks (weird dating shows, makeovers, etc).

2) I dug around for some info on Barbara Lamont, president of NTI, the satellite provider that QBID has signed up with. I think the company looks sketchy as can be, but Lamont is apparently fairly respected in the business community. Here's an article from INC in 1990... not entirely flattering to Mrs. Lamont, but if you google her, you'll see plenty about her, so she actually does exist and the press releases don't embellish her resume. http://www.inc.com/magazine/19900101/4988.html

3) For .0017 and .003 (my two entry points so far), it's worh the risk. The possibility of making a lot far outweights the potential of losing a few thousand.

Anyway.. hoping I'm wrong and that this really does shoot through the roof. I'm pretty confident the stock will take off within the next 30-45 days, but then again, I'm not at all confident that the station will...

IN RESPONSE:

NO. 1: THE PR CURRENT IS SIMILIAR BUT THEN AGAIN, AREN'T WE ACCOMPLISHING THE SAME THING? THERE IS NEW RECENT PR WHICH BRINGS NEW LIGHT TO THE BROADCAST.

NO. 2: I BELIEVE THE CURRENT WEBSITE IS HTTP://WWW.TRIANGLETELEVISIONNETWORK.COM WHICH I'LL ADD IS DONE THE WAY I PERSONALLY LIKE IT. STRAIGHT (NO PUN INTENDED) AND TO THE POINT. I SEE THE WEB DESIGNERS PUT TOGETHER WEBSITES THEY THINK ARE THE GREATEST/COOL ONLY FOR THE "NORMAL" PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO EVEN ENTER THE SITE LET ALONE NAVIGATE IT. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE FACT THAT IT'S BOLD THAT NO SPLIT WILL HAPPEN AND AGAIN, THE FOCUS IS TRAINGLE TELEVISION WEBSITE AND NOT THE QBID ONE. I LOVE IT YOU ARE SKEPTICAL SO IT'S IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER. ADDITIONALLY, ASSOCIATED WITH THE COMPANY WOULD BE COMPLETE REMOVAL SINCE HE IS C.E.O. NOW I DO REALLY LIKE YOUR HAT AND GLASS TRICK.

NO. 3: THERE HAS BEEN "OUTSIDE NEWS" POSTINGS ABOUT TTN. SCAN THROUGH THE EXACT POST AND YOU'LL FIND SOME FROM ME AND OTHERS.

NO. 4: WE ARE GOING TO SEE EYE-EYE ON THIS ONE. THE ONE THING I HAVE A HARD TIME SWALLOWING (UGH) IS A FEE-BASED PROGRAM. TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT EVERYTHING ELSE I KNOW, THAT IS MINOR AND DOES NOT OUTWEIGHT THE SHORT TERM FOR THIS STOCK.

I CAN'T ARGUE WITH THE POSTING REGARDING PINKSHEET STOCKS AND THE WARNINGS.

SOMEONE HERE HAS IN FACT BEEN TO THE OFFICES AND EVEN POSTED SOME PHOTOS IF I RECALL CORRECTLY.

AND IN YOUR CONCLUSION, THE STOCK WILL GO UP BUT WILL THE BROADCAST? THAT WE DON'T KNOW BUT AGAIN, MOST OF US DON'T CARE WITH A EXIT $1.00 OR LESS.
