VIACOM HAD INTENDED TO BROADCAST A GAY/LESBIAN CHANNEL BUT THEY STATEMENT IS THAT DUE TO THE POOR ECONOMY, THEY WERE HOLDING OFF INDEFINITELY. THAT IS THE LATEST INFO I HAVE ON VIACOM.

I TRY TO POST WHAT-EVER I CAN FIND ON THE NET ABOUT QBID FOR BOTH SIDES OF THE STORY. IF YOU LOOK, YOU'LL FIND THEY WERE IN THE SAME POSITION AS WE ARE RIGHT NOW 2-3 YEARS AGO. THE GOOD NEWS ABOUT THAT IS THE STOCK SHOT UP TO ABOUT $1.00. THE BAD NEWS IS THAT 2-3 YEARS LATER, HERE WE ARE AGAIN IN THE EXACT SAME POSITION.

MY GUT SAYS THAT THINGS ARE DIFFERENT THIS TIME AROUND BUT EVEN IF I'M COMPLETELY WRONG AND THE STOCK GO UP TO JUST .50, WE'RE ALL DOING VERY WELL ON THIS STOCK.

ON THE OTHER HAND, IF MY GUT IS RIGHT AND THIS BECOMES A BET, WE, CNN, ETC. THEN .

HE DID COMMENT THAT THE SHARE BUY BACK PROGRAM IS GOING AS SCHEDULED AND THAT THE MAY 1,2004 NETWORK PREVIEW IS STILL ON SCHEDULE. PROGRAMMING AND ADVERTIZING TIME SCHEDULES HAVE BEGUN TO FALL INTO PLACE. THE DOCUMENTARY IS ALSO ON SCHEDULE WHICH WILL BE THEIR FIRST MAJOR SCHEDULED AIR TIME.

HE SAID HE IS LIMITING HIS CONVERSATIONS WITH PEOPLE AS HE FEELS LIKE LOTS OF PEOPLE WOULD LIKE TO SEE THIS VENTURE FAIL. HE HAS READ ALLSTOCKS POSTS AND DOES FEEL LIKE WE DO WANT THIS VENTURE TO SUCCEED. HE HAS REFUSED TO TALK TO ANY OTHER PEOPLE REGARDING THIS VENTURE BECAUSE HE DOES WANT THE TRUTH TO BE TOLD. I FELT VERY CONFORTABLE WITH THE CONVERSATION AS I DID WITH THE CONVERSATION WIYH SUSAN. I FEEL VERY GOOD ABOUT THIS TRADE AND FEEL HE WILL DO THE BEST JOB THAT HE CAN TO MAKE IT WORK, IT IS STILL A VERY COTROVERCIAL ISSUE AND IT WILL BE A A VERY ROUGH ROAD AHEAD. I know you post both sides of the story which lends credibility to your optimistic outlook. All this company has to do in my very humble oppinion is launch on or around May First! If they simply live up to that PR we could definately see .50 near term. Furthermore, with launch, your 2006 example may prove to be very conservative.

By the way I've taken the liberty to repost some of your messages on RB giving you credit for writing them. My favorite was that response to the person who wanted to know what a good entry price was. Your answer was short & to the point. My guess is there may very well come a day where people brag about getting in under a buck! I'm long on this ticket & will be holding a large position in 2006!

LOL, L2's and the whole 2004 thing are totally different.

First, the 2004 thing is just a joke someone puts at the end of all his posts. Maybe not a joke, but I assume it's what he hopes QBID will be at in 2004, but obviously, none of us know. If we did, we'd all be millionaires by then.

L2 quotes are just more in depth quotes from the standard level one quotes. They show you the current bid and asks with offers that are out on the table for the stock. This just gives someone a better idea of what people are looking for and can help them excute a trade quicker.

Basically it's an educated guess as to where we might be in the year 2006. I for one agree with that guess.

PALM SPRINGS, Calif., March 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/-- Triangle MultiMedia Ltd., Inc. (QBID) has announced the creation of a new television network. This 24-hour channel, featuring a broad spectrum of programming directed at gay and lesbian audiences, will be offered to cable and satellite systems throughout the United States.
The network will feature original plays, motion pictures, series and documentaries as well as sports, travel and lifestyle programming combined with live news broadcasts and specials. Triangle MultiMedia Ltd, Inc. has contracted with Network Teleports Inc. and its president Barbara Lamont, to coordinate the launch, webcasting and satellite uplink on a popular C-band cable bird whose footprint reaches all of North America.

Providing all technical and programming aspects are met, the network will have a "soft" launch by middle May 2004, running one-hour sampler programming blocks in various dayparts to give cable operators a chance to preview the network. Regular programming will begin transmission via satellite and will be available as a subscription channel on selected cable systems once all transmission issues have been resolved.

In addition, Chairman Frank Olsen has created a Sponsorship Program aimed at large corporations. These select few corporations will receive preferred status regarding advertising and placement on the network during the first broadcast year. The company's sales team has already begun targeting these organizations.

Barbara Lamont has served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Network Teleports since 1988. Highlights of her professional career include the building of a satellite telecommunications hub and an independent television station, a background in network broadcast journalism, and a 25- year career as a classical and jazz pianist.

Fluent in seven languages, Ms. Lamont has lived and worked in Europe, Africa, and North and South America. She has worked for numerous companies, including CBS and ABC Networks, CBS Radio Network, Metromedia, and served for two years as Director of Operations for the Nigerian Television Network. But the news is very good. They just confirm that they are going on air in May. The last months of a lauching is very hard. We do not have to worry if some things are not exactly on time.

There's been no real change from what they planned to broadcast. This from the Feb 10 PR:

"In a separate announcement TTN has established an internal deadline to uplink a 24/7 transmission of sample programming by May 1, 2004 for preview and redistribution by cable headends and DDS companies"

Also note that the May 1st deadline was an internal deadline which means to me it's more of a goal than a hard date. Sound like they just couldn't quite hit the goal. It makes sense that sample programming would come first. The cable companies would like to see what they are buying. I hope they send the sample programming in the clear on C-band so I can take a look at it (just for curisosity).
