![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It has to be commercial. The strating point of this map is commercial and the ending point is PGHI They are only 0.35 miles apart. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Response to BetNitAll: Well if 814 Blackjack Rd, Franklin, KY 42134 is your reference address and if north of this location is residential 1535 Blackjack Road is in a residential area. Right? This all just too speculative. Satellite images, road maps, blah blah blah, I have really spun out of control. For all I know not any of this information is accurate. This is DD, but really how good is it? My excitement has blurred the reality when it comes to all this research and what not. - IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Great point KC will know for sure in a little while. Although I did get off the phone with the zoning and was told that that area is surrounded with light industrial warehouses and subdivisions. He told me that there was no way to find out for sure if the exact address was residential or commercial becuase he doesn't have those kind of maps....small towns....go figure. Looking forward to hearing from you KC.....have a safe journey.....\ By the way...private placement is trying to raise 1.5 million dollars. Minimum investment is $5,000 and the share price will be %50 of the last three closes. However, it will not go under .02
Well I am off to bed....good luck everyone quote: [This message has been edited by BetNitAll (edited December 22, 2003).] IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Interesting article about TriggerFingers that mentions Veegeez. Note the comment about how video games are more difficult to purchase and warehouse. Come to think of it, the prices for new games are around $40-$50 while new DVD's are around $20. Double the price for the games while keeping approx. the same subscriptions rates makes it a bit tight.
TriggerFingers Ports The NetFlix Online Rental Model to Games "We decided we needed to do something different...or more fun," says Matt. Which was TriggerFingers, whose subscribers pay between $14.95 and $29.95 a month to borrow between two and five console games at a time via mail. Mimicking the very successful NetFlix model for renting DVDs for unlimited periods, TriggerFingers lets users keep the titles for as long as they remain members. When they reach the maximum number of games their membership tier allows them to have out at a time, the users must send an older title back to get a new one. Based in Colorado, the Twogoods have 600 unique titles in their warehouse, with 15 to 20 copies of the more popular games. If a member requests a title that is not in, he is placed in a queue so that he is in line to receive the next available copy that comes back to the warehouse. Like NetFlix, TriggerFingers uses the U.S. mail, and tries to send orders out on the day they are made at the site, so that highly popular titles may never even make it back onto the shelves. Nevertheless, Matt Twogood has some of the same issues with the game rental model as video stores, which find that game inventory is simply more costly than equivalent DVD stocks. "The games are very expensive, both to purchase and to warehouse," he says. For now, TriggerFingers buys its titles wholesale from Ingram and Jack of All Games, just like most independent video and game shops. Twogood has no direct relationships with publishers as yet, though Sammy Studios (Guilty Gear, Lethal Skies) has contacted the company about discussing partnerships. A Workable Model? If TriggerFingers and other similar attempts at porting the NetFlix model to games (NumbThumb.com, VeeGeez.com, and others) are to succeed, they must first convince game publishers to stop selling the renters games and instead share in the revenues. NetFlix only started making money when the company partnered directly with studios, who charged little to nothing for the DVDs the company sent out and instead took a share in the rental fees. That is the only way for companies like these to keep their inventory costs and risk on slow moving titles reasonable. For now, and as a two man operation, the Twogoods say they estimate a break-even point at 400 subscribers, and after a few months of operation they have between 50 and 60. The bulk of the subscribers came only within the last few weeks, as TriggerFingers' new PR firm issued press releases and got coverage in The Denver Post. The site gets 25,000 hits a month, suggesting a lot of window shopping. Small as that may seem, there is some interest among a niche of gamers for this model, and it could conceivably be marketed effectively to a couple of constituencies. For rabid gamers who need to play just about everything, this is a model that lets them do so. It could also function much like the cult video film market, which has numerous vendors working through mail order and the Web. Fans of Japanese games and hard-to-find vintage games could latch onto Web-based libraries like these, which might have specialty areas of obscure and foreign titles. The hardcore gamer, who generally needs to have his new games at or near release, may always have a problem with mail order, which is one reason online game sales have never taken off. Twogood, who also sells games, reports that he has sold very few titles outright. Moreover, games arriving as expected has quickly become the most common issue for his customer support. Being in Denver, TriggerFingers shipments usually take a few days to reach most destinations already, and the company is considering trying priority shipping. The Brothers Twogood are beginning to discover what consumers want from this sort of service - generally timely deliveries and accurate information about what titles are becoming available and when. Another twist on this model might be rent-to-own. If members keep the same game out for an extended period, Triggerfingers offers them a buy-out option so that they can keep the title. Only open since February, and with only one taker of the offer, TriggerFingers has limited experience with this idea, but it may be worth considering for game rentals at all venues. If price remains one of gamers' universal concerns about gaming, then experiments like these are worth monitoring. Ultimately, online rentals will most likely be a niche play at best, but it could also be an interesting laboratory for testing new pricing models, marketing older game titles, and marketing to narrower audience segments. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks Adrenalix... the following message indicates how important the Fullfillment process is to customers... They are not going to care how pretty the warehouse is... but rather how quickly they get their orders... Hate to keep "Beating a Dead Horse with a Stick," but some here have apparently yet to absorb this. Our shareholders have spent so much time looking at Satellite images... and trying to figure out the location of the distribution center that they might be overlooking the many factors that will impact the bottom line. mach "Anyone care to recommend or warn me of any I used to use AngelGamer but the games started to thanks

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() What if someone would type up a small blurb in the form of a news segment, so some of us could go around to Gaming sites and see if they have a submit news section... we could submit it that way, or even on the boards. The article would say that a new website will be opening soon at www.gamezNflix.com and blah blah blah we could post the banner for Veegeez and everything too. Someone who is good at writing a thing like this... I could go post the article at various places though. ~Marc IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Marcidius... here is a summary of recent PR's by another board member. mach On September 26, 2003 Point Group Holdings Inc. (OTC BB: PGHI) announced that it had successfully acquired Veegeez.com, LLC of Santa Clarita, CA, an online video game rental company. Veegeez.com provides its subscribers video game rentals via the Internet similar to how NetFlix.com provides DVD's to its customers. On December 11, 2003, Point Group Holdings Inc. filed form PRE-14C with the US SEC. The PRE-14C is essentially a petition by the company's board of directors to amend the Articles of Incorporation of the Company to change the name of the Company to "GamezNFlix, Inc." The Company received the consent of a majority of the outstanding shares of Common Stock of the Company for this action under a definitive Proxy Statement filed on November 20, 2003. An Information Statement describing this action will be sent on or about December 15, 2003 to the Company's stockholders of record who have not been solicited for their consent of this corporate action. On December 9, 2003 Point Group Holdings, Inc. announced that its corporate headquarters is relocating from San Diego, California, to Franklin, Kentucky. The move is scheduled to take place during the last weeks of December. The relocation is part of the planned opening of PGHI's (soon to be GamezNFlix Inc.) subsidiary VeeGeeZ.com. The addition of the new distribution center for VeeGeeZ in Franklin, Kentucky will provide the company with distribution centers on both the east and west coasts of the United States. In support of the “Bi-Coastal Distribution Centers” VeeGeeZ has a focused effort to increase its online inventory and recently announced that inventory was increased by 37 percent. VeeGeeZ.com, LLC announced previously that it has signed a contract with Venture Direct Worldwide of New York to handle its online marketing campaign. The experienced staff of Venture Direct Worldwide and VeeGeeZ management has developed a marketing plan to assist the company in moving to the next level. Venture Direct's Online Services Group offers a comprehensive range of media, including online lead generation, co-registration, contextual advertising and other web based ad formats, opt-in email, search marketing, and other customized online opportunities, backed by 10 years of online marketing experience, and more than 20 years of direct marketing industry leadership. The agreement with Venture Direct Worldwide for marketing represents an important step forward in the execution of our business model and I look forward to seeing good results. On October 28th, 2003 VeeGeeZ.com, LLC awarded its new website design to Roy Vella, Web & Print Design Service (www.RoyVella.com). "The signing of this contract represents another phase of VeeGeeZ.com's business plan to provide enhanced services to its customers. In addition, the new design will not only meet our current video game rental customer base it will setup our expansion into the DVD rental world". I anticipate that the new website will be launched late in December 2003. I believe that with the addition of a second distribution center on the east coast (New Company Headquarters), continued growth in video game inventory along with the successful launch of a US marketing campaign and website interface, that the company has made major steps toward implementing its’ business plan and to add shareholder value.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() the zoning in franklin is pretty important. a simple butler building can be in place at a reasonable cost in a very short time IF the zoning permits commercial operations. a big old house with a barn or out buldings could also work very well until growth required more space. we are talking about shelves for cd's and a order/shipping dept where everything is shipped in small priority mailers. my sisters have run small media home businesses for years from rural home settings. most rural settings are pretty flexible in their zoning laws. my previous businesses were built in rural locations where i in one case set the precident for heavy industrial zoning. in my nearby market area, a heavy industrial zoned lot would have cost me more than i paid for 162 acres right on the interstate. more particulars on the pghi deal would help us make more sense of this headquarters location. seems like there is already a gumshoe squad on the scent. i loved the pizza connection. lots of smart resourceful people here. i wish i had more time and another computer to be more a part of the forensic fun here. uncle milty IP: Logged |
