[QUOTE]Originally posted by RobinO: [B] Absolutely agree. U4 fits into the "worthless all-caps turd slinging" I mentioned earlier. The sad thing is that he has some valid points, he just has no clue how to present them. Even worse, his posts bring out the mouth-breathers from the other side of the fence, as I'm sure you've seen in the QBID threads. However, I think for every U4, there are 4 or 5 kommoncents type people with nothing useful to say. Both brands of mud slinger serve no purpose and should probably be dealt with in some form, if for no other reason than to save bandwidth. However, the ignore feature is too much like a 5 year old plugging his ears and yelling LA LA LA LA I CAN'T HEAR YOU. It doesn't actually solve anything, since the offending users are still here posting their garbage. Removing the users who do nothing but fling pooh is the only reasonable option in my opinion. -R The problem with people like you is you take every opportunity to bring a stock down that has made you money for whatever reason. Great news came out this week with QBID and one of the first things to be said came from you, RobinO and U4. Now, I have 6.75MM shares of this stock and have been in and out of QBID several times. I often wonder how much the bashing that has gone on here from purveyors such as yourself and U4 have contributed to the reduction in pps. Now I know your going to blame Frank etc but you cannot deny the FACT that negative, dissenting, and bashing opinions in the face of great news SCARES away those newbies and other investors who play pennies and understand the risk. In other words, if you are going to sling mud, you are going to get it back. Play nice, then there is no problem. How many people on this board are sick of you (RobinO) and U4tsaf2??? Especially after last week....my investment is important to me and I don't appreciate you agreeing with a guy like U4 who has turned 180 degrees around and then you say he "has valid points." What kind of credibility does that give you especially after your negative bashing last week?? It was like clockwork with U4 and RobinO!! Last week the 50B rumor came out.....I gave the DD on it...stating it was a rumor and why....I even called the Sec St of WA and confirmed the two different entities.....the point again you jumped on this to bash Frank without any proof!!! U4 did the same....I have seen the dilution theory to Frank doesn't deliver to Frank is scamming to you(RobinO) telling everyone "How Frank should be doing it."......Gimme a break!! I am damn tired of seeing the negativity and feel that many new people will read your post and U4's and run away... The one fact remains: this ran up to .028 as I watched it come from nothing at .0001.....and what has changed now is more bashers and Frank is delivering but certain intrinsic negative people (RobinO and U4) and other bashers are out in force to make this stock sink!!! This to me is more disgusting that whatever I could have told you in person to your face...period. It shows a lack of judgment and scruples. Thank you. IP: Logged |

If you want to tell him to do more DD or find out for yourself because we have then thats fine but why should anyone in here say fact from someones post. The last few pages hasn't answered anything but the hope that its true and that you should research for yourself for proof. Ric

Business: The Commercial Closet, Pepsi Marches Into Gay Prides by Michael Wilke 2004-09-22 Amidst the noisy advertising battle of the soft drink titans, PepsiCo quietly joined the growing list of corporations marching into Gay Pride events. It is the first effort to reach gay Americans by any soft drink in the $63.8 billion annual U.S. cola market. At the more sedate float promoting Pepsi, festooned with bubble machines, a DJ spun records from the float’s top tier, but the only one in drag was an enormous blow-up Pepsi bottle with a blonde wig. Pepsi employees, decked out in corporate gray or black Diet Pepsi T-shirts and hats, jogged down the parade route accompanied by members of the Big Apple gay softball league. They handed out 8,000 cans of new Pepsi Edge soda (half the carbohydrates and sugar of regular, but not quite diet) and 78,000 blue Mardis Gras bead necklaces to hundreds of thousands of eager attendees. The presence of Purchase, NY-based PepsiCo was largely inspired by its new gay employee group, EQUAL, formed in December 2003. Such groups have become a force in motivating their companies to look at gay marketing. A greater presence for Diet Pepsi in gay media is anticipated later this year, though no details are confirmed. Intriguingly, gay themes have already crept into the company’s general ads. Up in Canada, a flamboyant man broke the “news” of his bisexuality in a Pepsi commercial. Also there, Pepsi was recently a sponsor of PrideVision gay TV network. Arch-enemy Coca-Cola has not yet made U.S. gay marketing efforts, aside from sponsorship of Gay Pride in Atlanta, its home city, and Montreal.
For many advertisers, Pride parade and festival sponsorships are a key component of gay presence. This year, Bud Light, Delta Airlines, Showtime, Smirnoff, Starbucks and Washington Mutual were among the largest corporate brands strutting their stuff at multiple Pride events. As corporations increasingly capitalize on the notion of gays as “early adopters,” “trend setters” and “thought leaders” by introducing new products to them in gay magazines, Pride events can be a way to introduce new products into the hands, literally, of the gay marketplace. Most Pride parades reported attendance boosts this year, though some call the numbers inflated and actual statistics are untracked. Reporting comes from organizers (who want to emphasize size) instead of police (who avoid being accused of undercounting) or third-party sources. Thus, New York City parade organizers say attendance this year was 1.5 million, the largest in the country. San Francisco’s parade claimed a million this year, compared to last year’s 750,000 by police count. Toronto also regularly asserts 750,000, Chicago estimated 400,000, Los Angeles-West Hollywood and Boston each 250,000-300,000, Washington, D.C., about 200,000, and numbers for smaller cities like Minneapolis fall at or under 100,000. Atlanta Pride officials said event attendance fell from last year’s 300,000 to 100,000 people because of rain. But parade organizers don’t concentrate much on attendance to sell sponsorships, something they say advertisers are not concerned with. “Corporations look at whether it’s a significant media market more so than attendance,” notes Aandre Davis, operations director for Boston Pride. “Attendance is not as important as sampling,” echoes Scott Seitz, founder of SPI Marketing in New York, and a former eight-year Pepsi employee. Seitz organized Pepsi’s parade presence, and over the last eight years has also done so for clients including Johnson & Johnson’s K-Y lubricants, SmithKline Beecham’s Havrix, Philip Morris’ Benson & Hedges, and Absolut vodka—which had a presence at 15 Pride events simultaneously.
Logistics can be a challenge at Prides. Since Seitz was doing massive sampling across the 3-mile-long NYC parade route, he needed to drag along thousands of cans of soda, ice, and bead necklaces, all which didn’t fit on the float. So he rented an additional truck that needed decorating too. And not all companies use employees on the floats, especially in cities where they have no offices. Seitz sometimes hires models, other times he’ll give a donation to a local gay athletic team to have them help, further supporting the community. Still, more companies focus on print advertising, which is simpler than participating in parades. “Pride is not a place for everybody,” explains Seitz. But consumption in the overall carbonated soft drink market is flat, so the time may be right for soft drink marketers to take a gulp of the gay market. And munch on this: PepsiCo’s beverage and salty snacks businesses are major untapped ad categories, with brands including Frito-Lay, Tropicana, Quaker, Gatorade, Doritos, Cheetos, Tostitos, SunChips, Mountain Dew, Sierra Mist, Slice, Aquafina, Lipton, and SoBe. Will Pepsi and its brands become the choice of a New Gay Generation? Commercial Closet column covers gay issues in advertising, marketing and media. It is part of the non-profit project tracking 85 years of gay images in advertising worldwide. Its 1700+ image archive is at CommercialCloset.org. IP: Logged |

Everyone should question my credibilty. I haven't posted charts, I don't know how to read charts very good. I just sit and think of what I could do to bring info to this board. I don't know why I didn't think of my cousins (probably cause I see them once every ten years and maybe talk with them once on the phone every 5 years..my mom died in 1998, that's the last time I spoke to them); it wasn't me who even thought of calling them, it was my husband who said, "Robin, don't you have relatives in San Francisco?" I called my aunt, got their phone number, called, spoke with Billy...talked with him for a while to catch up on everything and everyone...then I asked him if he was on RCN cable..he told me know, they had satellite. I asked if he had any friends or relatives who might have RCN..that's when he told me his neighbors across the street did. I had him to look and see if they were home..."She is".. I then asked if he minded going over there and ask if he could look at a channel on her TV on channel 250 or 255. I didn't even explain why until I called him back. When he confirmed that it was called QTN and that The Gay Review was coming on at 3:00 (their time), that's when I explained about the stock. He busted a gut laughing. "They are everywhere out here." They even make fun of them right in front of them. You can believe me or not. I got my confirmation and just shared it on here for all my "Allstock Friends". If it is alright with my cousins, I will give you their phone number and you call them yourself. Let me know. Robin...(the good seed) IP: Logged |

Done with my phone call. Billy has even offered to pay the neighbor the $7.95 fo a subscription, take a video camera and digital camera over there, whatever you all need for him to do. He said he is even getting excited now! QTN logo was showing in the lower far right corner along with "The Gay Review." And at the end of our first conversation yesterday when he was getting ready to go over to the neighbors house , his response was "Now, this isn't a joke, is it?" When I called him back, he stated "you weren't joking, were you. There really is a queer channel here." I am to call him back tomorrow night. I am in CST and they are 2 hours behind us. So if I don't get cyber beaten up too bad within the next 24 hours, I will let you know what he is doing or done tomorrow night. Good luck all! Robin...(the good seed) IP: Logged |

*** SAN FRAN UPDATE *** SAN FRAN UPDATE *** I posted the following on Craig's List in SanFran: The investors in this new network's stock (it's a penny stock), me being one of them, are trying to confirm that this is actually happening. I personally only know people in SanFran with Direct TV, but QTV is only on RCN. So, if you have RCN, could you flip to those two channels, 250 and 255, and let me know what you see? I would really appreciate it!!! Thanks =) --> RESPONSE #1: (notice the email addy @RCN.com) -----Original Message----- on RCN --------------------------
Right now on channel 255 its something with an actress know as Stockard Channing it looks like an old sitcm from the early 80's, but the channel doesnt even play, it's like there playing a worn tape and it is sorta scrambled but not and on channel 250 it is the on demand selection. Hope this helps you out. -------------------------- --> RESPONSE #3 (note: i reposted my ad on Craigs List and included my real email addy so people know I'm for real, with a slightly pleading tone to the post) -----Original Message----- Hi Paula, I just saw your ad on craigslist. I just checked and QTV is on Channel 255 through RCN right now. "The Hope this helps - I'm sure you've gotten plenty of responses. Take care, --------------------------- --> RESPONSE #4 (ANOTHER FROM @RCN.COM) From: Rex ***** [mailto:****@rcn.com] this viewing was on sunday 9-26, at 4:33 PM california time: ...love that two of these responses came from @RCN email addresses. oh- and there was one inquiry from a Q stockholder asking if I could let her know what my responses were. i sent here the link to this site. and i got a few responses that were gibberish. oh well. two "no sound" responses are reassuring, since a "new" signal is often just video/no audio.
