The problem is just because a PR is put out doesn't mean everyone reads it. You pretty much have to know about QBID and be interested enough to read the PRs. How many other people are asking the same sort of question about their favorite stock? How many of us even know about it? SOMETHING has to bring it to the attention of the investment community. There needs to be a big enough event that mainstream news services pick up the story. Or an aggressive PR firm that can get the word out to the general public.

Olson and crew need to seriously consider a nationwide television campaign, especially since they will be broadcasting the gaylympics next next. I mean how else could they get the word out on the madnitude needed to get this to fly?

Typically it's not the best timing to have a PR one hour before the weekend, but what the he77,
doesn't make a difference in this case...(being sarcastic)

Been thinking about this for a while now....

Once word about Q gets out to the general public what will the general oppinion from non-gay investors be? Will they look at this objectively as an investment to be considered, or, will they turn their back to it?

I'm sure it will run the full spectrum. Some won't care, they'll see money in the potential. Others would rather die poor than make a "gay nickel". Try as they might, I don't think they'll get this genie back in the bottle.

Sometimes the best advertising is free press from these hate groups! The people that will join the boycott would not have been consumers of the product anyway. So, they end up 'advertising' the product to those who may not have been aware of its existence... you know, those who WOULD be consumers. Boycott campaigns often backfire.

Somehow the word needs to be spread, massivly and nationwide. Once the average investor is onto this, positive PRs will have the desired positive effect we've been missing so far...

Great point! Free advertising = less expenses for Q = more $$$ for us!!! works for me.

Boycotts are usually great for business when they are motivated by nothing more than stupidity and hate. Look how well Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 did because of all the free publicity!

Free advertising... "BRING IT ON". LOL

Just so you know penguinking, this is not a question. A question would generally begin with who, what, where, when, why, or how. Also, it would generally be followed by a question mark (?).

For example:

Why would you say, "I have a question," then not actually ask a question?

Or

Who's your daddy biat**?

Both of the above examples can be your starting point. Try to write a few sentences that ask questions! Good luck.

Hmmmm Turning their back to the Q could result in an interesting set of circumstances!

But seriously, if I, a below average investor in Podunk VA can recognise the economic power of the Gay community I would hope the average "straight" investor could as well.

Hey Bob_dog,... thanks! I came through pretty well, all things considered. My hometown up north didn't fair so well from Ivan... 100% of the business district was destroyed and about 8000 people lost their homes. It's just really sad.

My dear lady, that assumes that all of us here that invest in QBID are willy-nilly investing in pinkieland. A good investment is a good investment no matter where one happens to come upon it.

I just keep thinking about...........15 million adult g/l with over 6 billion buying power---the bulk of our potential audience.

Would any savy business let that ripe apple fall to the ground and roll away?

We now know that there have been technical problems within the cable industry. I hope that Frank is holding out for top dollar from carriers.

IMHO, when the pps moves up, it will be in the blink of an eye. I'm ready.

I've got my balance order in, and my core is in a holding pattern for as long as it takes.

the buying power of the g/l community will not be that big a factor in q's pps. yes it will help in that $8 a month isn't much to many in the community and it will attract advertisers but being a premium channel advertisers will not be paying huge amounts for ad's. q needs those not making big bucks to subscribe in large numbers. todays news is the stuff that can bring in that $8 a month. personally i'd like to thank the mm's manipulation, it allowed me to get cash into my account and get another 320,000 shares today...lol now the s.o.b's can let go. just a thought and its a stretch but the mm's know the lower the o/s the more money to be made on a run up. the lower the pps the more frank can buy back. mm's buy at these prices too and they make money as it goes up also

suz......international markets, part of q mission, 7=figure cash, promotional shows, at least 150 U.S. markets........
http://www.chicago2006.org/media/article.php?aid=42

Q Television would also serve as the agent for the redistribution of television and radio broadcast rights, allowing for access beyond Q Television’s cable footprint, especially in international markets. The media rights being sold would not prohibit standard news coverage.

The Gay Games have never had an opportunity like this and we are excited to be an integral part of the Q Television mission to create a network devoted to providing television programming for the LGBT community.”

http://chicagobusiness.com/cgi-bin/news.pl?id=14097

Tracy Baim, Co-vice chair of Chicago Games Inc.’s board, says the deal is for a seven-figure cash consideration. It also includes an agreement to air shows promoting the games through their July 2006 launch.

Ms. Baim says Q Television will broadcast the games to at least 150 U.S markets, and possibly overseas. The 2002 games, held in Sydney, Australia, were not broadcast outside of the Sydney metropolitan area.

Q Network sets first gay comedy special
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Big News Network.com Saturday 2nd October, 2004

Q Television Network is planning to air what it called TV's first all-gay standup comedy series, the network announced Friday.

The series, called Giggles, is set to begin filming Oct. 20 at the Ice House, a popular comedy club in Pasadena, Calif. The series will also be the first original series to air on QTN, the first full-time gay and lesbian TV network.

Georgia Ragsdale -- star of the video Sporty Girls and a performer at the Montreal Comedy Festival -- will emcee the series.

Comics scheduled to appear on the show include Bob Smith (The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher), Stephanie Howard (Premium Blen) and Ant (Last Comic Standing).

Clyde, you are the man!

I was hoping Ant would be on Q Television Network. When I saw him on "Last comic standing" he was great but I guess he didn't get enough votes to stay.

That news made my weekend. I'm enjoying the progress and know my investment is secure!

Just got an email from the Advocate.
Mr. ____

We published a story on Q television in our September 28 print issue (p. 52), and we publish frequent news items about the network in our online edition, including the Gay Games licensing agreement you mentioned. I'd like to think that our readers are well informed about Q TV's existence and activities, and that they have the information they need
to support Q TV, if they so desire.

So far, we have read every press release from Q television and tend to publish something about most of them. Certainly
we will continue to report on their activities and programming as they develop their business and audience. We absolutely agree with you that the more queer-targeted media that are successful, the better it is for all of us. If they find more supporters such as yourself, they certainly will
succeed.

Thanks for writing.

WTG FRANK OLSEN: PROCLAIMING YOUR COMPANY WILL BE OFF THE PINKS IN 6 MONTHS. HULARIOUS, ABSOLUTELY HULARIOUS.

LET'S SEE HERE FRANK:

YOU OBTAIN FINANCING TO GUARANTEE 5-YEARS OF BROADCAST.

THEN YOU TELL US YOU HAVE A MAJOR FINANCE COMPANY LOAN YOU $2 MILLION TO ASSURE 1-YEAR BROADCAST. THEN YOU RE-ISSUE 5-6 BILLION SHARES ON TOP OF 50 BILLION MORE.

BY YOUR OWN ACCOUNT YOU HAVE APPROXIMATELY 15 BILLION BACK IN FEBRUARY. ALL THAT TOGETHER IS 71 BILLION SHARES.

AND YOU'LL BE OFF PINKS WITHIN 6-MONTHS.

KEEP EM COMING FRANKIE BOY.

U4 you ol' knucklehead where have you been? I've been worried about you. Did you get washed out to shore by the hurricans? Let us know what you've been up to.
