RobinO...Did I tell you to leave?...NO. Did I tell you to shut up?...NO. Evidently you haven't read my post very good. I just stated you have made your point over and over. We have heard you. I think the message is clear. My dreams, you don't even know because I have not stated them; my hopes are the same as everyone else who still holds QBID. We don't need Purl Gurl, we have you now! Logic and reason..you have done the reasoning (just don't know why you still do it)..the logic is clear also; you don't have much hope for Q, you've made some bucks...it's been rubbed in our faces quite a few times. Good for you, I hope you make lots more money; that's why we are here too. For me to go away, I can do that...I have lurked for many weeks without posting hardly anything, so it wouldn't be hard for me to do that again. I'll just keep shaking my head when I see what you have to say. But after today, my fingers had to get to the keyboard and let you know...WE HEAR YOU!! ENOUGH SAID. JUST QUIT REPEATING YOURSELF. I've said what needs to be said to make myself feel better towards you. I hope what you say makes you feel better too. Logic and reasonable people are welcomed here, but the line you talk on could be labeled bashing and your gloating is almost sickening. I do feel better. Thank You.....
Robin (the good seed)

Hey all, I first posted on this same topic on May 31st. I see a few months later it still is a hot topic. I want to start by saying this is not a negative post what so ever. I actually think this stock has great potential, but back in the first week of June 04 this stock was around 1.5 cents per share. Now it has dropped to less than .5 cents per share. I still want to buy this stock but a good friend of mine invested most all he had when it was floating between 1-2 cents. Strangely enough that was when I had originally planed to invest also. I opted at the last moment not to get the stock to see if it would actually start performing. Well hell to be totally honest I actually spent my money on an Alpine sound system for my new Nissan Frontier Quad Cab. I figured I am getting older and you only live once. Now I got that off my chest, on to the real topic at hand.... I gather from some of the posts here QBID has launched in limited markets as a pay channel. I am not a smart man as you can tell by my poor spelling and bad investment choices, but how on Gods Green Earth is QBID going to get sponsors on a pay channel. I will admit at some point in my life I paid for the Playboy Channel, HBO and may be even the Gulf Channel... well maybe not the Gulf channel, but some of you may be following me with this. The one thing they all have in common is that they receive 95% of their income because they are a pay to view service not by sponsors or commercials. So I say we all rally together hold hands and sing Kum-bi-ya and hope this Stock goes more mainstream and starts to be offered as maybe part of some premium service the cable/sat companies offer, you know like the top 150 channels or something like that so QBID can actually get sponsors. Hell they would make millions just off Condom adds. That was a joke by the way, and was not direct toward any group in particular, so please no rants or raves on this. I will probably start picking up pieces of this stock very soon now and keep buying as long as it continues to show at least some promise. I welcome any comments or questions on any topic other than why do I type so badly.

Sincerely,

DJSeoane

it's frustrating, isn't it? kinda like hey, guys, will you do all the work for me? no offense djs, but your question was completely covered only one week ago...

but, in the interest of building good karma, i did a search and found my previous post.

djs, here ya go. don't think of "advertisers and sponsors" in terms of commercials.. think in terms of product placement within tv shows, subliminal content within the "news" etc.

for example, in the "news segment" pepsi pays for the Qewscaster to announce that pepsi has released a new product. they do a little report on it, go to people n the street and say hey what do you think of it? stuff like that.

get it?

Ok.. here ya go!

I got to thinking I could add some insight into launching a new tv network. Those of you who know me on this board know I'm legit. And verifiable via my website...

Those of you who have on-demand cable access will be able to see me as the host of the new tv network Expo TV launching Oct. 1st. Before you rip me to pieces, let me tell you that Oprah is the financial backer of the network, the crew is from Oxygen Network and we filmed at Oxygen Studios here in NYC.

First, while this network is also ONE CHANNEL its aim is to be advertiser-driven. Hidden in the content of what I say may be a plug for an advertiser or just some new news that the sponsor- say, for instance, Pepsi wants to promote a new product- wants to get it out there to the public without making it seem like advertising, and that generates revenue for the network. It's not a commercial. I've seen a lot of questions on how that kind of thing works. So there ya go.

Second, Expo plans to run 20 hours of programming for the cable operators to use to "launch" the network. That cycle will run for about 3 months +. Much like Q seems to be doing.

Third, I don't know what kind of tv experience U4 has, but when he stated "UH, 67 FEET HIGH IS A JOKE. MOST STUDIO'S ARE AT BEST 30-FEET HIGH. TO MAKE IT SOUND LIKE WE HAVE 67 FEET TO "FLY" LIGHT/SOUND IS A JOKE AND MADE TO LOOK BETTER THAN WHAT IS MEANT" that's just absurd. I've never filmed in a tv studio that was 30 feet high. Where would the sets be stored? The boom itself is 15-feet +. A photo studio is about 30 feet high, but not tv.

It's also important to have the right facilities to shoot in. We didn't have as much insulation as we needed on our last filming, so we would have to cut if the sound engineers caught a noise from outside in the audio, someone opening a door, etc. In all, even though there's financing behind Expo, it still has a strict budget until launch. I imagine it's much the same with Q.

And, even with multiple professionals working on it, we have seen setbacks, reorganizations, mind changes and all kinds of difficulties wth our first productions. It NEVER goes smoothly. But that's the nature of the business, and it is to be taken in stride. you can't just go with initial decisions because you're afraid of making changes. Which is why I sit on my Q as a long, hoping that it all comes together in the end.

Hope the insight helps.

BB, I must have missed your post that explained this. I was under the impression that it was not on channel 250 or 255 and was on demand from your last post, which to me ment it was a pay service. I have not posted here in a while but from what I remember you were in a select group of people on this bulletin board that gave out some very good advice. Sorry if this post was dissapointing to you all.

Hi everyone!! See you guys tried to move and leave me behind !!!

Hey, I think condoms with 'Q' on the packaging would be terrific...no sarcasm here. Hey, promoting safe sex AND getting advertising, too? Works for me. ( This advertising idea my husband and I actually thought of back in May...our minds are always churning.)

Byrd..JB It is soooo wonderful to see you back...you always make me laugh and smile. Looking forward to seeing your posts on Monday. I also like your 'analysis' of Frank's buy back. At .11 cents, I'd be, uh, pretty comfortable! LOL

Betting Babe and Degs Wife, thanks for all the confirmations. Makes everyone feel great knowing our Q is on the AIR! Woot!

I've been wondering all day what this next trading week will bring us Qbidders. Could be mighty terrific...biting nails and waiting with bated breath for more news releases...Yippee!

Hope everyone is having a good Saturday.

no worries, but if you put money in Q it's important to stay informed, right?

on page 1 of this thread i posted the two email responses that i got form RCN customers in SanFran. Both said that channel 255 WAS QTV AND channel 250 is pay-per-view. Which clarified which channel we are broadcasting on- 255.

Above I have reposted my opinion on how they will integrate sponsors & advertisers, integrating them into the CONTENT of the shows versus conventional commercials.

hope this catches you up a bit!

You're hearing from whiz now. I enjoyed your post about friends actually seeing & confirming the broadcast of QBID. What's sweet is more confirmations will trickle in & then tons will roll in. It would appear that things are falling in place!

I'm at work & need to do a lot of writing so I will check in late tonight.

Hi sunny! So far, so good, but thanks for thinking of me! Battening down the hatches as we speak. It's headed this way by tomorrow, so we're already getting winds/rain and a tornado watch. This is getting old.

A very small change in track will spare my area and still manage to sweep through 2FLOATY4U's area. Perhaps this is Mother Nature's attempt to FLUSH him from the planet!

*** UPDATE *** UPDATE *** UPDATE ***

-------------------------------------

I posted the following on Craig's List in SanFran:
Do you have RCN Cable? What's on Channel 250/255?
Hi.
I know- weird request- but Qtv, the new gay & lesbian tv network, insists that they are broadcasting on RCN cable channel 250 or 255 (mixed reports).

The investors in this new network's stock (it's a penny stock), me being one of them, are trying to confirm that this is actually happening. I personally only know people in SanFran with Direct TV, but QTV is only on RCN.

So, if you have RCN, could you flip to those two channels, 250 and 255, and let me know what you see? I would really appreciate it!!!

Thanks =)

Right now on channel 255 its something with an actress know as Stockard Channing it looks like an old sitcm from the early 80's, but the channel doesnt even play, it's like there playing a worn tape and it is sorta scrambled but not and on channel 250 it is the on demand selection. Hope this helps you out.

Hi Paula,

I just saw your ad on craigslist.

I just checked and QTV is on Channel 255 through RCN right now. "The
Stylists" is the program, however it is not pushing through any audio,
only video.

Hope this helps - I'm sure you've gotten plenty of responses.

wow, we finished 52 pages of posting and starting a brandnew one. i rememnered when my local television started its own chanel, it ran the test for many months before it brought into service. again, the testing contained only video and no audio. so sounds like Q is testing the signal. as my telling to the basher, i am aware of loosing a couple grand if Q is actually a scam and I do not care. Q's idea is counted. it take many months and years for a business to get of the ground; and business start from an idea. I run my own business so I know what it's like. If Q takes off, I make enough money to drink black label whisky for the rest of my life. if i lose it, a couple grand gone, big deal. money comes, money goes, so dont bother. Long live the Q.

Sounds kinda like telling me to shut up and leave. Yes I might be saying the same thing over and over, but isn't everyone else? I think Whiznock has posted the exact same thing every 15-20 messages for the last 3 months. No one seems to mind though, because he's saying something you want to hear. I just happen to be repeating something from a different perspective that doesn't agree with your view of the world. If you don't like hearing dissenting opinions, move to China. In the meantime, I'll stick around to see if they ever file with the SEC, get major corporate backing, and build up a decent number of subscriptions.

bb is right on advertising but also differant programs can be sponsered like on public tv, just before the program and just after or a ghost image in bottom corner like many cable stations do with their logo.

as for an r/s, i'm in no way an expert but in the 4 yrs i've been watching all stock markets closely (not so much pennies)i've yet to see a company buy back shares and then do a r/s. its makes no sense wasting money in a buy back to then in a short period of time have a r/s. even U4 isn't that stupid, well maybe thats a bad example the o/s might need to be drasticlly reduced to go to a big board but not to go to the otc. getting off the pinks will go a long way towards getting big money to invest. if frank can get a couple top 5 cable company contracts and some quality programing q could easily become a buy out target the way BET was. maybe 3 or 4 yrs from now

Please shut up and leave U4's alias!! There, I said it. You're exactly like U4....spend a lot of time bashing a stock you say you have 200k shares ( a whopping $860 bucks)......sounds awfully suspicious.......If you don't want the risk and headache, go spend it on a hooker and a few rounds of black jack.....your odds might be better and you sound like you need to get laid as tight as your wound....my guess is you are an anal retentive engineer or something like that...I deal with them all the time...you just have to make your point no matter how stupid and ridiculous you sound....you must have a lot of friends.

I would like to make a suggestion to both kommoncents and RobinO. this is starting to get old, why dont the 2 of you exchange e-mail addresses and take it off line. it is basically the 2 of you slamming each other now.

so go off forum and continue your war there.

this is not productive at all.

'Sex and the City' Star Switches Roles
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

Filed at 6:41 p.m. ET

NEW YORK (AP) -- ``Sex and the City'' has taken on a whole new meaning for Cynthia Nixon. The actress, who just won an Emmy for her role as Miranda Hobbes in the hit HBO comedy, is in a relationship with another woman, a source who works with Nixon told The Associated Press on Friday.

The New York Daily News and the New York Post reported Friday that Nixon has been dating a woman since January. The woman is neither in the public eye nor living with Nixon.

``We will not confirm or deny anything,'' Nixon's publicist, Carrie Ross, told AP.

``My private life is private,'' Nixon told the Daily News. ``But at the same time, I have nothing to hide. So what I will say is that I am very happy.''

The actress split in June 2003 with photographer and high school sweetheart Danny Mozes, whom she'd been with for 15 years (but never married). They now share custody of their two children.

If ``Sex and the City'' were to be believed, the revelation would have been more expected from Kim Cattrall's character, Samantha, whose many, many TV conquests included one woman.

Nixon's lawyer character was the cool professional of the bunch, although her boss mistook her for a lesbian in the first season and set her up with a woman, resulting in a single kiss. But Miranda never dallied further and ended up married to her bartender boyfriend.

After two previous nominations, Nixon, 38, won an Emmy this year for her performance on the HBO show. She is working on ``Tanner on Tanner,'' a Robert Altman and Gary Trudeau miniseries for the Sundance Channel.

R a g i n g B u l l BB would be an excellent meeting place for RobinO and Kommon when they want to altercate, argufy, brawl, caterwaul, cavil, dig, disagree, dispute, fall out, fight, hassle, pick at, quarrel, quibble, row, scrap, scrape, spar, spat, squabble, tiff and wrangle.

Hope I covered all the possibilities.

Whizknock breaks stuff down to the simplest elements,,,

Genuine Broacasting National TV Networks do not trade for less than $1 a share.

Pretty much boils down to one simple fact & the signs are all there for even the greatest doubters to see,,,

"All we ever had to do is launch!"

i wouldn't get to set on seeing rcn update the channel line-up till it launchs in all city's next week. i'm sort of curious about 1 thing there, rcn lists LA as a digital cable area they broadcast to yet the q pr doesn't list LA unless I missed something. maybe LA isn't san fran but i'd say it'd be a nice place to broadcast. in LA lib's would order q just to support a cause.

silly, you couldn't be mr. bung. he didn't talk like a trucker. lol

however, i did feel it was someone who knew your posts well and was goading you on.. and i believe he posted a couple of days at least. i think they were in a row. too lazy to check.
BUT when I saw his profile I knew he wasn't for real. Oddly, he did have 80 posts recorded (yes, and that janitor/carebear hobby thing). Just made me wonder who so desperately wanted to distract from factual information exchanged on Q.

Now, stop "tinkering" with my "belle" and go eat yer eggs.
