Frank Olson Interview in text format. If any of you pick up something I made a mistake on or missed, let me know. But here you go. Good day this is Michael Wachs with CEOcast. I’m here today with Frank Olson. Frank is president and Chief Executive officer of Q Television Network, a company that trades over the counter under the pink sheet symbol QBID. One that was organized to create and develop a network devoted to providing television programming to the gay & lesbian community. Thanks for joining CEOcast today Frank. FO: Thank you for having me. MW: I thought perhaps you can begin with the overview of the company and then we’ll get into the programming and why this is so well suited for its audience. FO: Well first thing the company has been .. for the gay community. We’ve been working on this for 11 years. This is not an overnight project, it’s an 11 year project. We have 70% of our money is private money that was invested in the company and the rest of the money is stock sales. The company is a pink sheet which we plan on taking forward reporting. We’re in the process of doing that, we’ve made some mistakes ,,, With ____ now we got it straightened out over the last 5 years and now we’ll be reporting probably within 6 months to a year. 6 months. It’s going to take at least 6 months to finish that. MW: As you look at the audience now, why is your content so well suited for it? FO: Well because see, our content, I should give you a little bit of my experience. I’ve owned television stations for 30 years and I had17 gay bars. So I know the gay community, I had the first black radio network and I’ve been specializing with minority broadcasting all my life. Native American broadcasting, all kinds of minority mixed market broadcast. So by owning gay bars I’ve learned about the gay community. How diversified they were and what you had to do to make a television station for them. And that was not making a bunch of sitcoms and making the gay person the odd ball. Gay people do not buy gay toothpaste, you have to understand that. They buy fords, they buy crest, and they’re only gay in the bedroom and the rest of the time they’re normal regular people that live a gay lifestyle and they have gay families. Most gay people of the age of 30 have a partner and they have long relationships, probably because they’re not under the pressure of being married. (laughs) MW: Frank what about the content itself, what kind of content do you provide? FO: Ok, first thing we have a 3 hour block in the evening that’s repeated 3 times. It starts out with a gay interactive talk show that anybody from any place in the world can call us up The next show that comes on the 3 hour block is the gay events show that tells what happening out in the world of gay and it basically shows movies and film clips and its kind of a fun out and about show. Then we go to a gay sports show, I am the only gay transsender sports caster in the country. Used to be on ABC, I don’t know what name she used on ABC but now she has a man so now she is Jackie inks(?) and she does the sports behind the sports. And then we go to gay movies, gay plays, and then in the morning we do the lesbian show this is copy after the view called woman on woman it’s a strip show 5 days a week. On weekends we do a tech show that shows where all the gay website are and then we buy some programming. We just signed a contract with the gay Olympics in 2006, a multi million dollar contract. We have all the broadcast rights, all the network rights, and the line feed rights. So we’ll be able to send it all the over the world, if anybody wants it they have to go through us. That was just signed yesterday. We’ll be doing gay rodeos, we’re going to be following the gay community all over the country and that’s what’s different from every other station; we’re going to bring the gay community together. Person in Atlanta will finally get to see the Halloween parade in west Hollywood live on our station. MW: Frank, what about advertiser and your advertising and your revenue base. FO: Revenue base comes from 2 places. We charge $7.95 which we split with the cable companies and that is for 2 reasons. 1, we want to give the cable company some inducement to take us but also we want to be invited in the home. We want to be scrambled; we don’t want to force our agenda on anybody. This is very important because I’ve been married, I was married for 29 years and I have grandchildren and I do not want my grandchildren to ask me why to men are kissing on television; an 8 & 9 year old. Children ask me that. When they’re 12 I’ll sit there and tell them all about the facts of life. But I’m going to have them; you know kids act out what they see on television. I’m a gay person, openly gay now, but they don’t need to know that right now; kids get to much force on them they don’t need to have that force on them, so we’re going to be scrambled. The next revenue base comes from advertisers, we limit our advertiser down to, you ever picked up a gay magazine, we call them gay mags, and if you’ll notice in gay mags there’s several fortune 500 companies that advertise in those but they really don’t like to advertise in those because they want to get to the gay community but they don’t like who advertising with because the next page is escort services and gay bars and strip joints and things like that. Our ratings are TV14 and we don’t go any higher. So we give them a nice, safe place to advertise where the straight person doesn’t know they’re advertising and so they will not lose to, remember we have to deal with 13%. 13.10% Gay 3% curious. Then we have the 33% religious community so advertisers have to be very careful they don’t want to lose more then they’re gaining. The gay families have a 600 billion dollar a year disposal income. Advertisers want a big chunk of that especially people like American Express, Carnival tours, travel agencies, and beverage companies, and computer companies. They love to get into that money but they don’t want to offend anybody, so that’s why we’re scrambled and so we run a limited run of advertisers. We do not break movies, we do not break gay plays, we do not break some events, but we do break sports events, the talk show, we break talking head show and things like that. So we average about 8 minutes an hour instead of 18 minutes an hour. MW: What should investors now look for in the coming quarters in terms of key developments from the company. FO: Well we’re building 3 studios we’ll be all over the country and it will cut our expenses down. We’ve moved our production facilities in Fort Worth, Texas because of the talent Fort Worth has and the pricing is so much cheaper, so we’ll be able to live within our budget and start growing to be a money making company. We should be showing profit within 12-13 months. And we should be off the penny stocks, I would say in a year we will be on an exchange, I don’t which one yet we’re having advisories and lawyers and everyone getting into that. But we’re a growing stable company; we have plenty of financing, plenty of money available to carry us 3 years if we don’t make a dime. But I think we’ll be making money within a year. Right now we’re building up programming, we’re building up studios, and that’s where we’re at. MW: Well I’ve been speaking today with Frank Olson, Frank is President and Chief Executive officer of Triangle Multimedia Limited a company that trades over the counter under the symbol QBID and one that is owner of the Q Television Network. Frank thanks for joining CEOcast today. FO: Thank You for having me. MW: This has been Michael Wachs for CEOcast, where Wall Street listens. not to burst any bubbles but frank says at least 6 months up to a year. not bad news but in 6 months if its not done U4 will be calling frank a liar. says should be profitable in 12 months also good news. that means money left after loans, production & overhead. he also gave us the base deal with cable companies, said splits the 7.95, about $4 each. not sure but i was always under the impression that cable companies paid to broadcast channels, heard of them being ready to cancel differant stations because they wanted to much for the rights to broadcast. if this is true then it might help getting on bigger cable line-ups. if a broker can make his investers 20% a yr he is considered great this means anything over .084 in the next yr is gravy (based on yesterdays close). should we start cooking & mashing those spuds now? Bill, 6 months was to be reporting I think. 12 months was for profitbility and also being on the exchange. So we should expect to see financials at the end of the 2nd quarter next year.

all the financials will come out when we go to reporting (otc, amex, etc). profitable 12-13 months--well, we'll see. this is what he said important to me (for the future going forward): ...referring to the 2006 gay olympics.... "we have all the broadcast, all the network, all the line-feed rights. "we just signed that deal yesterday" --so we (the q) have a signed contract in hand for the future!!! those people in chicago have already done their olympics--already legit. ergo, if we weren't legit, they wouldn't have signed with us. ...legitimacy. we (the q) really exist folks....... ...and we got that satellite thing going.... Not taking the weekend off! Very overwhelmed by so much positive news, media exposure and programming definitives! I personally went from "is this a scam" jitters one week ago to "wonder when Q will broadcast in NYC" today. I didn't think I'd get this chance to average down, and I have. If we see .03 I'll be thrilled- I'm not greedy. Yes, he did say they buy "Fords and Crest" (think he came up with those on the fly? i don't). Yes, he said "we'll be reporting in 6 to 12 months- 6 months, yes, its gonna take at least 6 months.." (he seemed to be be talking out loud). Key is that it is in his plans. Love that it didn't sound scripted, he had humor, and I really like that he wasn't CEO-ish. I like this "help my cause- we're in this together" casual approach. ~BB

I know that one should never assume, but I am going to any way. I'm assuming that the pps will rise following the buy back. I'm definitely ready for the move up, but I'm not anxious about it. This has provided the opportunity to add more shares and the opportunity for others to get in while it is subpenny. Most of us have benefited from the recent lower pps. Again today, I read back through this thread and the previous one. We have truly made tremendous progress within just four weeks! The next four weeks ????? IMHO, it's only going to get bigger and better. Firefly, I also noticed that Atlanta will be able to watch the Halloween parade!!! Now, we need our crystal ball--will it be the '04 or the '05 parade? I vote for the '04! IP: Logged |

**OK! WHAT'S MISSING?** Time is short. Any other cable provider will just be the begining! Then another will sign on &,,, Yep! I just can't quite remember the exact moment it occurred to me that there was only one element missing from this investment,,,, Very quietly! They're waiting! Huge Fortune 500 Companies! They want to be remembered by the G/L community the first to advertise directly to them & pick up intensly loyal consummer base that commands a HALF TRILLION DOLLAR DISPOSABLE INCOME! I know there are Fortune 500 Companies that already have commercials in the can waiting. Once these carriers experience the weight of Corporate America seeking to advertise through Q TV this will forever put to bed anyones doubts as to whether QBID will become a viable National TV Network. Some people wonder if Comcast will carry our signal? I have to wonder how long Comcast is willing to wait around for other providers to cash in first when there's a ready made opportunity to beat them to the punch & in so doing pick up some loyal subsribers themselves. You know it's almost funny but I also tend to forget that COX and COMCAST agreed to carry the test signal back in May & did an excellent job! My guess would be Comcast is onboard before LOGO ever gets on the air. No matter how hard I try, I just can't remember when it dawned on me,,,, THE ONLY THIG MISSING IS THE ELEMENT OF RISK!!! ***A DOLLAR A SHARE?*** Think $500,000,000,000.oo Disposable Income! One percent of that is FIVE BILLION DOLLARS! POINT ZERO FIVE PERCENT OF THAT HALF TRILLION DOLLAR TARGET IS TWO HUNDERED FIFTY MILLION BUCKS! $250 million in revenue is enough to carry us to a $1 & beyond! My question isn't can we actually see a buck a share! My question is,,, are there any COMBINATION OF CATASTROPHIC EVENTS THAT COULD POSSIBLY PREVENT US FROM BEING WORTH $5 A SHARE? Comcast has a choice--go with the first g/l network that was six-11years in the making, or they can do what they do to show MTV. They can contract with Viacom for LOGO. You are so right, QTN would provide the opportunity for Comcast to increase their subscribers. Isn't that what it is all about for a cable carrier? IP: Logged |

Uhh speaking of viruses! I had to do a system restore last weekend due to the computer crawling and crashing! I had more then a few viruses! Norton scanned 69 infected files and only cleaned/deleted 13 of them. I wasn't about to manually find each key for the rest so I backed everything up and did a system recovery. I also avoided Norton and got McAfee. Point? I know it was another message board that did it, I never assumed it was this one but we all need to be carefull of the links we click, the emails we open, and the websites we visit. You also need to run a firewall and virus protection 24/7. Best thing about it, I can trace back whos trying to hack into my system. I already traced a person from L.A, to San Jose, to Yonkers, NY and to my computer. Got his IP and server info. [This message has been edited by 1BigTip (edited October 02, 2004).] IP: Logged |

Hey guys, I recommend Opera browser, I love it for all the stock sites I use, they all open at once. The reason internet exploder gets so many viruses is because hackers know that everyone uses it. I use IE only for specific sites that I feel are safe, not all sites seem to work on Opera but it's a very small %. Also, dont forget to keep your IE updated: http://v5.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/v5consumer/default.aspx?ln=en-us IP: Logged |

There's a reason you can't compile a list of "Genuine Broadcasting National TV Networks" that trade for less than $1. a share. They do not exist! Think about the word "network" & what that might imply. I do not pretend to know when but I do know that there will come a time that this stock will see a dollar a share & more.
