quick question. if the announcement came that a buyout agreement had been made, would MM's sell at a significant discount to the buyout price or would it shoot up to 2.10 plus instantaneous?

MONTREAL--(MARKET WIRE)--May 8, 2006 -- Nord Oil International Inc. (Other OTC:NDOL.PK - News) today provided its shareholders with details concerning the recent purchase offer and current merger talks. ADVERTISEMENT
According to management, the recent purchase offer still stands until an agreement can be made, which would provide Nord Oil shareholders with a premium to the $2.17 offer. "Our intent is to create value for our shareholders and if it means taking the purchase offer versus a merger, we will. However, if we can establish merger terms more favorable to Nord Oil shareholders, we will opt for the more suitable conditions" said Mr. Makarov, President of Nord Oil International Inc.
"It should be noted that the purchase offer and or the merger terms will be submitted to shareholders for approval."
what is this saying? do we get to pick as shareholders what we want, the merger or buyout?? im thinkin of the future, wouldnt a merger actually be better. Think about it, all of our oil reserves AND whatever northwest oil group has. Also Nord Oil wont start producing oil til June 1st. It should go up once it starts producing oil. Now im a noob here, but wouldnt a merger actually be better.
Someone on this thread should do sum hw on the buyout company. . . how much are they worth, where do they drill, etc

Is it taking you guys 5 minutes to get a page to come up on this website every day. It is me. I want to know if it's happening to anybody else and if so why isn't the owner trying to fix it.

Thank you, TheSpartan. I don't try to "pump" this stock. I don't try to even "hype" this stock.
I've owned it for a year and I've done a ton of DD. I have a lot of faith in management. I just enjoy posting positively here with others that are in for the ride.

Wow, this was one heck of a day for NDOL. Daytraders must have made a fortune. I really have no idea what is going to happen at this point, so I am keeping my money out until I can figure it out. Good luck to you guys, the news sounds promising.

Whatever caused the crash this morning must have been hot air cause it came back pretty strong throughout the day. I'm holding my shares at least till Friday before I make any decision but I think we will see the 2.17 if not more.

Well today I lost a big chance to make some cash...saw the merger news and my first thought was to sell before it hit the tickers.....being new to this I didnt. Should sold it and grabbed it all back when it bottomed out..oh well next time I'll trust my first instinct. But got more at .70 so atleast I'm up a good bit still.
