I think we have a very good idea of where they're going......I'm just anxious to know how it will be structured. I'll hold on to the new stock if I'm able to.

Lol....well...if we're judging from yesterday....lol.....might see a drop. However, I think we lost quite a few of the investors expecting a buyout yesterday. I think it will drop some early, then will rise back up as long term investers see what's happening. Merger news with these two companies will be very big news, and could even hit mainstream media.

What ever the decision is I hope it's the final one and they get on with it speedily. It's less than a month till nords oil production begins in some fashion. So thats a plus. It looks like either way I look at it, this is a good stock to hold for awhile.

You got it DIG. North West has SIX production licenses already.
"As for North-West Oil Group (SZNG), it is known that during the year and a half of its existence, the company managed to gain direct access to Russian fields (it holds six production licences) and to establish itself in the sectors of oil processing and trade in oil and oil products. SZNG has also reported that it is working with Hungary's MOL (a company called SZNG-MOL was created to bring online the Surgut-7 field in Russia, which had been taken over from Yukos). An SZNG daughter company, called North-West Oil Company S.A., is registered in Geneva; its task is to intensify co-operation with foreign partners (mostly in terms of the sale of oil and oil products)."

Great, the more the merrier. Yukos was one of the biggest privately owned oil companies in Russia till the Gov closed them down, if i'm not mistaken. Last year I was trying to figure out if Nord had any of that action, but at the time they didn't, but now it looks like they will.

north west is BIG FISH and parkin is preparing a good presentation of them to show all the ndol shareholders... we will be dealing with one of the largest oil companies in russia and this will be HUGE also... i am quite sure makarov will explain in the next pr why the merger is better than the buyout so that everybody understand why this will go much higher than 2,17 dollar...

Stockguru, thanks . It sounds like you have made contact with Parkins and got this update on the presentation and so forth. They want to sell this merger to the shareholders.

It seems like Nord has been releasing their PR's early in the morning recently. Before the market opens.

Because they're a private company, I haven't seen any figures like that SYGY. It has to be huge though, IMO, with everything that we DO know about them.

Hey Stock, do you know Peter Wilhelmson? He's an old friend of mine that owns a health spa retreat thing over there. He's selling it now so he can come back to the states.
