exhaust pipe lady, can you either get into this stock or get out. I'm fine, didn't sell a thing, never went into the red. I just think this was a better thread to be on before you arrived with your gloom and doom. We know there's risks. Its a no brainer. Maybe we'll get lucky.
Can you honestly tell me or anybody that you haven't been lurking and flipping this stock for the last month, when you say you are a wise rich money maker. After all isn't that what you do? You can be here, but I wish you would'nt.

just my 2 cents...but purl_girl ive only been on this on and around this board for abt 3-4 months, and in all honesty, I think you would not be getting the slack u are if u would of come on the scene and stated your case at to why you see this as not being a good company, etc, but you came on the scene like a basher, you maybe good at what u do, but the ppl who have been in NDOL, Digdough, Nowhen, madmoney, etc they have all been very helpful, as a new inverstor, not once have they tried to steer me in the wrong direction, and all of them even TOLD me to try to make an exit plan to get out when it was aroung $1.50 due to the fact, I have wrote, i needed the money for tuition, and also for my debt, so they looked out for me, and i thank them for that, but in no way when I read your very 1st post abt NDOL did i get the same info , and i hope u dont try to take advantage of new investors, im sorry but you started out just like all of us,not knowing much, and to take adv of new investors or in-experenced investors is a very shady way to work...so if your intentions were good, they maybe u should reconsider how you try to "warn" ppl abt the stocks we have...or if u did have the intentions to bash the stock...then you reep what you sow...and I knw it was not your fault that the PR was released and it was a bad PR and ppl jumped ship, but i think alot more ppl would have stayed on and not lost as much money...so God Bless to you and to all on this board...but money comes and money goes, and I hope that NDOL skyrockets for all the ppl who are still in it...!!!!! GTLA and thanks for all the great advice from the OG NDOL holders., now its time to fig out how to get the $5000 back that i had...!!!

She doesn't understand that I have confidence that this stock will make me money eventually if there isn't a buyout, she seems to have overlooked the fact that oil is one of the most sought after resources on the face of the planet. And if you have it you can sell it for a good price....and how can that rip off a person?
Or I can sell out at my own price. But the value is there. Why doesn't she mention that?
I can't say i'm pumping, because if some other guy had these guys oil instead they would be milking it for all it's worth. Not a pun with purl girls jugs. The value of this is what has kept my confidence that this is a good stock.

Since both of these companies have a legitimate reputation as active going concerns and are not shells, I'll pass on commenting on the "scam" charges.

However, I will discuss the merger issue and what I "think" could be going on. I was actually a little surprised when I saw that North West is a private company. If you think about all the buyouts you see here in the States, you'll realize that very, very few involve private companies buying a public company.

Why is this? P/E ratios. Public companies have much higher P/E ratios than private companies. For example, lets say Exxon stock sells for 50 times its annual earnings and they buy a private refining company for about 7 times its annual earnings of $1 million. What happens? When Exxon pays out $7 million and adds $1 million to its bottom line, the public stock market raises its price per share by $50 million ($1 million x a 50 P/E ratio)!!

That is the precise reason public companies love buying private companies and why private companies are so anxious to go public.

Now lets look at Nord. Since it is a penny stock, it is in the somewhat rare position of being undervalued even as a public company. That is why North West could step in and make an offer higher than its current stock price.

However, the folks at Nord could be saying to North West "why buy us out and stay private when you could simply take advantage of our public status in the States to go public yourself. Merge your company into ours and revalue the stock at a P/E multiple MUCH higher than what we're currently trading at."

That is just my read from what I would do if I were North West. If they're in a competitive dogfight in Eastern Europe and have an opportunity to obtain capital from an American stock exchange, why not jump at it?

Does this mean your Nord stock might be renamed to a North West ticker symbol? Yes. Does this mean your Nord stock will suddenly be worth $10 based on North West's financials? No.

Most likely, the new stock may very well be valued at $10 and traded on Amex or Nasdaq, but you would only receive a fractional number of shares (based on the value of Nord in the merger) and more shares would be issued to the current owners of North West and sold to the public.

That is what Nord's 2nd PR is trying to tell you. If it is a straight buyout, you will get $2.17 in cash. If it is a merger which allows North West to go public using Nord stock, then you will get shares in the new company at an exchange rate somewhere above $2.17 because of the risk factor involved (the new stock price could go down when released).

My guess (and it IS simply a guess) would be in the range of $2.50 to $3.00...

Nowhen, good buddy, thanks for the info on my question. Its been a wild day with ndol, but tomorrow is another day.
It's a drag what went down here today for some of these guys. I'm glad I held tough. traded a little and came out with some extra shares, before it went up too far again.

hey purl... it's understandable. i completely respect your views. but as others have said, i havn't lost anything on this stock at all. i'm still green as well as everyone else. did i wish i woulda flipped this in the morning? sure, who doesn't? did i wanna sell this on friday, no. all stocks are unpredictable and we all should know that playing pinkies. it closed down only 19% down or so. i'm expecting to be maybe even from friday or maybe even higher tomorrow. but.... who knows? once again, i do read your posts and do respect them. i don't doubt you are very knowledgable, but like weekend said, maybe just reevaluate. your alright in my book, but i don't think nowhen2holdem is too fond of ya;) haha, i'm still in your boat on riding this one out nowhen...... GLTA!!!

This played out well for both sides today...those that like to flip, and know a little about trading, were presented a golden opportunity today to flip and double up their share amount, I know I did. It was easy to see after the first PR came out that there was going to be panic selling, lock profits and find the bottom. It should be very apperant that if news did not confirm the buy-out that there would be some window jumping.
For the longs, it was great news, letting us know the NORD isn't just going to settle for a gold watch and banquete.
I was lucky enough to be around when news hit and dump my long shares and then just about double my holding!!!!
If you think about it this was a situation that is rare for those long on a company...simply amazing...I hope those that have done their DD didn't miss this.
There are so many different ways this can pan out..and its all speculation untill the PR hits...just remember if your long on NORD, like me, remember this is still a pink and the market will do its will with it...know the market and take advantage to steal as many shares as possible. There may be a few more opportunities like this be fore its all said and done.

Prowds, "I"M GREEN LIKE EVERYONE ELSE"
Laktu: "this palyed out for BOTH SIDES really"
SYGY: "blah, blah, blah"
NDOL is some new russian IMPROVED SCAM.
Sure I can't prove it, but now the red flags have bells and whistles.
"we are close to listing on the OTC"
Change that to:

"we are close to a buy out offer"
Change that to:
"we are not close to a possible merger"

The pros around here, some like SYGY who are in fact russian, will stand to make $$'s. But many will fall.
I'm glad I'm out. I hope never in my life to make a dime in any russian SCAM. The russians I see are up to new tricks.
No one plays the game better than the low down scam russians.
They make the Las Vegasians, Floridaians look like childsplay.
Note to all newbies on this site, get in early on scams and het out quickly, don't look back. Even better stay away from them. Make money on stocks with good honest intents.

The ones who really made a KILLING on NDOL are the russian NDOL team members, who SYGY may in fact be one of them. He sure smells russian from the way he writes.
Yep the team players working their on line accounts within the US are playing this scam perfectly. They'll spilt millions.
I hope the government catches up with scams like this. And dishes out severe punishment.

Parkins told the north west is a major player.he is also making a presentation about the north west oil group. He also said they will move over to otcbb if the merger goes through and then a step higher also. this is not small stuff anymore and just wait untill the details are released about the merger...we will all be thrilled!

god some of you people are paranoid, it's nauseating... I highly doubt this is a scam, but if -in a highly unlikely chance- it is then I don't see why you blame it on the fact that they're russian *roll eyes*
Before bashing other nationalities (like i see happening too often here), let's just wait for the PR shall we?

Dear Purl Gurl,

Earlier you wrote: “I am also a caring person who truly wants others to make profits, but make those profits in a fair and square manner of which you can be proud.

You also wrote: “I did not write this stock is a pump and dump but will do so now. I wrote many known pump sites are pumping this stock and many in this thread are very clearly pumping this stock. I also wrote behavior of management is typical of a pump and dump scheme. Many warning signs are apparent and many ignored those warnings.

I now write this is a pump and dump stock being confirmed today by pr news. Not only did management of this company initiate this panic selling, they also added confusion and fear with conflicting news; they screwed up.

Bottom line is management, through their written statements, have made it clear their intent is to drive share price up and this is their only concern. This confirms a pump and dump scheme.

I believe many people on the board believe this may be a genuine statement; however, the internet affords people the easy of anonymity and the ability to be duplicitous. So, people relying on the opinions of people who post on boards such as these can have a difficult time discerning who is working in their interest and who is working against their interest. You have attempted to assure people that you are working in their interest by stating in the affirmative, “I am also a caring person who truly wants others to make profits…”. Unfortunately, I do not believe you.

Therefore, I have come up with a very simple way you can truly help others profit or mitigate losses with NDOL. I am asking you to craft an e-mail to SEC counsel for Nord Oil asking him to lend credibility to the claims NDOL ownership is making. I see that you have more than enough time on your hands to perform such an altruistic gesture since you have spent so much time challenging NDOL claims on these boards. Additionally, your claim of extreme personal wealth might afford you to have your own counsel craft this letter on your behalf.

For you convenience I have provided the contact information for NDOL’s SEC counsel below:

JOSEPH I. EMAS
ATTORNEY AT LAW
1224 Washington Avenue
Miami Beach, Florida 33139
(305) 531-1174
Facsimile: (305) 531-1274
Email: jiemas*bellsouth.net

I, for one, will be truly thankful for your continued efforts to help some of us less informed, less skilled traders make profits. I eagerly anticipate a copy of your correspondence to Mr. Emas and his timely reply.

Regards,

W

Oh, and a letter to him may be wise since I informed him you were making accusations of this stock being a pump and dump. I am a neophyte, but I believe this could be considered baseless information that may materially affect the price of this stock. :::Shrug:::

I'm out it's just too lonely holding this. I'll get back in for a couple of shares later when it's at 5 bucks.
