LOL, What a insane ride.

that was one of the worst shakes ever.

I bet all the limit stop losses were all triggered today.

But talk about me buying right back in for a nice 50% gain.

Man that was a crazy ride.

Nord Oil Provides Details on Recent Purchase Offer and Merger Talks

MONTREAL, May 08, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Nord Oil International Inc. (OTC: NDOL) today provided its shareholders with details concerning the recent purchase offer and current merger talks.
According to management, the recent purchase offer still stands until an agreement can be made, which would provide Nord Oil shareholders with a premium to the $2.17 offer. "Our intent is to create value for our shareholders and if it means taking the purchase offer versus a merger, we will. However, if we can establish merger terms more favorable to Nord Oil shareholders, we will opt for the more suitable conditions" said Mr. Makarov, President of Nord Oil International Inc.

It should be noted that the purchase offer and or the merger terms will be submitted to shareholders for approval.
UPDATE!!! JUST OUT!! note - A PREMIUM TO 2.17!!

"HAD my finger on the trigger at $1.32 but GREED"

Pigs get slaughtered.

Problem with this stock is volatility is too
extreme; you cannot enter orders fast enough
to keep up with price swings.

All along there have been ample warnings, if you
apply common sense, something ain't right.

This is a day trader's stock. You should not be
playing this one for more than two days, three
days at the most.

Obvious problem here is all are feeding off
each other. There is no rational discussion
taking place, rather all are looking for
someone to blame, or looking for constant
false reassurance, which is ample.

This merger, guarantee or another bluff?

There are lots and lots of internet sites which
will teach you all about the stock markets. You
will get out of this what you put into this. No
effort, no profits.

Markets are an extreme risk, always. This you
know going in. When "things" go right, you are to
credit. When "things" go wrong, you are to blame.
Attempting to blame others for your failures is
an earmark of a childish, if not ignorant person.

My suggestion is you read and research all you
can. This means read and research for hours each
single day, without fail. Being successful in the
markets is a full time job, weekends included.

Sitting in front of your computer cheering along
or sitting there looking for someone to blame,
will never earn you money. You can tell many here
are losers because they are spending their time
sitting at their keyboards, constantly posting
worthless comments; they should be researching.

Should you research my history here, you will
discover not only do I participate a lot, I also
research, even more so. You will also discover
my friends here, me, all of us have made good
money for many people through research and through
being very cautious. We are serious traders.

We discuss stocks. We do not cheer nor blame.
We are winners.

Go to Google, do a search for stock tutorials.
You will find thousands of sites which will
help you learn the markets, which takes years.

I am in California now. I was born in Eagletown
and delivered by a Choctaw Midwife. I am Choctaw.

Purl gurl, you're wrong on that this is a trader's stock. Maybe now it is, but when weatherbill posted this stock at .14 in Feb, it was a good 2 month hold.

Another shouts with great excitement,

"UPDATE!!! JUST OUT!! note - A PREMIUM TO 2.17"

Is that a guarantee?

Buy in on. Buy is off. Merger is on. Merger is off.

Very decisive management team, yes?

Suppose today's major crash has anything to
do with this release of news?

So, buy out, merger, neither?

Writing is on the wall for those with common sense.

My honest advice is to never pay another ounce of attention to what Purl_gurl says.

She didnt warn ANYONE in here. She put fear into a lot of investors. They sold, she pocketed.

She doesn't get her money honestly. She plays on others inexperience to fatten her load.

Like I said, I wish all scumbags and pieces of sh*t to rot in hell.

It definitely applies in this case.

What does "UNTIL an agreement can be made" mean? Is there still a chance that this would be a restricted shares deal and not a cash deal?

Welcome back Weekend. Glad you'll still be around, buddy.

Yep, TheSpartan, she certainly wouldn't want her reputation to be tarnished....lol. Now she comes back in with that load of crap above.

Returning to the scene of her crime for damage control. What a joke.

quick question. if the announcement came that a buyout agreement had been made, would MM's sell at a significant discount to the buyout price or would it shoot up to 2.10 plus instantaneous?

Purlgurl--I don't see anyone here asking for your advise... So save it for someone who cares.I've done quite well in the market and off this stock as well as many others. Your advice is not needed.
I see you are bashing PGPM now as well--Another great gain you must have missed. Rode that one from .05 to .25..Gonna buy back in soon. Its funny how you bash stocks after theymake such nice runs.

Ya know, topharlem....LOL....you've been announcing this figure for months.....and it's provided some great comic relief.

This merger goes through, and someday down the road, that number might not be too awful funny anymore.

2 PR's in one day...

1 - to tell us GOOD news, that everyone took as bad for some reason.

2- PR explaining this is good for US (stockholders)

I am riding free shares, I imagine a lot of you are too. I am hanging tight for what is to come. They would not consider a merger if it wasn't a better deal than the current offer of $2.17. Would you outright sell a company if you knew a merger would mean more $$$$? Mr. Parkin and Mr. Makarov are not fools. The future will tell, but I think it looks good. GL!

Again, I bring up the scenario of.....what if the buyout was a go from the beginning. And what if North West was given a great shot at getting their shares this morning?

I want the merger. But I can't help but think about the way this all panned out.
