Why wouldn't they show?
I think Rufus just likes to see the SEC guys squirm.

Some of you guys are not really listening to Rufus. * He is happy that the SEC took this to court, he expected it. * He wants this to go to Congressional Hearings. * He HAS THE GOODS, he wants to press the point of SEC's ineptness at prosecuting the REAL BADGUYS.
Rufus should be wearing a white hat, that's what he'll be wearing in the movie.

one vote per share owned, i beleive!
What if the person that bought 50000 shares when it was FHAL and was only .04 which = $2000.
Versus someone who bought 50000 shares at $2.00 which = $100,000.
Shouldn't the person with 50 times the money invested have more say.... LOL
I am just bringing up another way to look at this.

LOL, your right surf, there are probably a hundred different ways of looking at this. It will be interresting to see how the official rules on this work out.

And if this is the case for the shareholders' committee, then maybe when the halt is lifted and we open with 6 extra shares per, and if there is a bit of a selloff, then there could be an extra incentive for some shareholders to buy more shares to increase their say in the company (this being their last chance to buy shares at a relatively low price), that would help increase the buying pressure at that time. You Go those power hungry among us.

I think the shareholder commitee was formed to have one vote per share holder, because obviously some1 didnt like the fact that one person had all the say. almost like a democratic vote. funny earlier when we were talking about this and the hsm election for shareholder reps, i was gonna say we might have enough time to hold campaigns an still not miss a day of trading (He He)

Chart maybe you can answer this or point me in the right direction on where to look, I watched the darkside vid but didnt find it there. I have no experience on shorting a stock and there is something I have been wondering about. I understand the shorts are hurt by having to pay back the 6 for 1 shares, but what happens from there and who profits from it. If the brokeage sold a share short, reg or naked, that the shorter pays back who would get the extra shares? Does the Brokeage firm profit at the expense of the shorter, or do the extra shares go back to the company, CSHD, somehow? I get the impression that the shorter and brokeage selling it are both disadvantaged, but dont fully understand the process with the MM's in the middle. Sorry if the answer is so simple this sounds stupid. Any answer or links appreciated.

Count on it.
Someone asked Simon if the Euroclear no-show was a good bad or indifferent thing. He replied... I don't know. Some people are trying to spin it as a good thing, if they want to believe that it is their prerogative... but it doesn't make sense to me (Simon). The real question is what does Rufus think?

I think what you want you'll see in the 10Q, a breakdown of the stock. Since Rufus said this ISN'T a divi or a split, I have to say I need more info myself to answer anything as fact or "for sure."
As it stands, alot of people were sold "air" so the only ones who have benefited are the ones who sold air for millions of dollars...
Now when we are on the other side of this, we win. That much is pretty cut and dry.
When changing exchanges, evidently the FTD's will "have to" be covered in 48 hours, but since there may not be enought shares for that, -that is what's in question.
Rufus called it a "short elimination"
Again, have to wait for more info on how they intend to work this out...
Bottom line is, someone is going to make alot of money (hopefully us!) and someone is going to loose money (hopefully them!).
