Mike said he will not be posting on boards or going on the internet, etc. He said the SEC will be looking for anything that they can use and he plans on doing everything by the book so as not to give them any ammo.
I think this is the best thing for the compnay, but I know we'll all have to adjust to not having the drama and info that Rufus gave us quite often.

Rufus already said that won't be happening...
The only reason it was brought up was because Simon asked him if he had any companies he was watching...and Rufus said NetBank...he did make it clear they are in no way affiliated...and Rich validated that with his posting above...

Net Bank is a publicly traded company, so the shareholders own it. Here is some DD I did on NetBank yesterday...
posted November 07, 2006 11:16 AM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- just got off the phone with the IR department of NetBank. They stated they were not in negotiations with Conversion Solutions, but even if they were they would not be able to comment on the situation of a potential merger... Here's some info on the company I got from a PR

Those banks that were on there I bet could be DD'd and tied to our boy!
-just a thought...
It seems logical to think of CSHD as your mortgage broker. They work with you to determine your needs, organize the contracts and see through the distribution.
From my understanding of the CSHD business plan, funding will happen through a sub in the form of an authorized lending institution. Rufus (or another financing guru) can use their expertise to work with new business to determine what the best funding method/package will be. The "bank" will pull it all together (contracts, deposits, escrows) and payments will be made by various distribution channels, Euroclear among them.
To pull all of this off there is a stated piece that we have not yet seen - the sub financing company. An existing bank would be the easiest way to pull this off. NetBank is not only existing but also struggling with their current lending sectors and losing money at an increasing rate. Romeo connection or not, NetBank could be an inexpensive acquisition.
Additionally the financing sub is slated to be spun off in no more than 2 years after it gets off the ground. CSHD shareholders get a piece of each sub. Therefore a bank already structured to be owned by shareholders seems like a good fit.
The easiest way to accelerate a business plan is to use existing assets and vehicles. I see mergers and acquisitions being a regular part of the CSHD business.

Tax, have you spoken with anyone from the SEC about your findings with the bonds. From the sound of it you could help them along:) It might be worth a shot, you could test how much they really know and confirm some of our speculation that they are in over their heads.

I'm learning a bit about bonds myself, so I can't say I know more than them. I feel like they don't know as much as they should. They were still talking about Bloomberg at the court hearing. Something about what all things you can do there. It sounded like they still didn't get all of the Euroclear thing as well (in my speculating opinion "IMSO").
IMSO, the SEC still doesn't have proof. And they say that they only brought the charges that they can prove? I heard Bill Hicks say "we're going to find something". If they had something, Rufus would be in jail and CSHD would be no longer!
As for how the company is handling this. I really wish we would take a more offensive defense against this. I would like to see CSHD and their attorneys fighting this instead of letting the SEC just continue trying to figure this out. In the future, I think we might see more of this now that Mike is heading the company.
I'm with you Mill, I'm offended at their defense right now...

Something to ponder. If in fact we find that CSHD has an upcoming deal with Netbank, wouldn't Rufus be in trouble again? I don't want to discuss specifics on the board, but you guys all know what I am talking about.

All of the info about the financing sub is in CSHD's business plan. All of the info on how poorly NetBank is doing is on their website in the form of PRs and filings (I had heard their name before through a contact in the mortgage business). It does not take a genius to see that there could be some mutual benefits here. I think Rufus is OK on this one - all public info.

agree... I honestly hope CSHD gets a defense going, or the SEC finally discovers what has been known to us for months.
Rich ~ My wife feaked when I started calling and setting up meetings with Congressmen and Govenors at night. I think the calling the SEC and telling them how to do their job may send her over the edge. It is just funny to me that they can't see it.
If anyone with an Internet connection can invest a few hours and prove the signee and signee's title on a bond certificate of ownership. Then locate the notes of BOD meeting which authorizes the finalization of the deal. Then prooves the notorization and the government group that provided the funds, and even points to another large International funding institution (CAF) involved with the signee and the Amazon basin carbon credits and log retrieval. Then I would think they could do the same.
OK maybe not, but that doesn't mean that they couldn't open their eyes and see the writing on the screen when Rufus throws them a logon to the system. HA HA!!

Rumsfeld resigned! Just like Rufus, in disgrace! All the crooks and scams are going DOWN!
"We sit in the car outside your house I can feel the heat coming 'round I go to put my arm around you and you give me a look like I'm way out of bounds well you let out one of your bored sighs Well lately when I look into your eyes I'm goin down, down, down, down I'm goin down, down, down, down I'm goin down, down, down, down I'm goin down, down, down, down
We get dressed up and we go out, baby, for the night We come home early burning, burning in some fire fight I'm sick and tired of you setting me up Setting me up just to knock-a knock-a knock-a me down
I pull you close but when we kiss I can feel a doubt I remember back when we started My kisses used to turn you inside out I used to drive you to work in the morning Friday night I'd drive you all around You used to love to drive me wild But lately girl you get your kicks from just driving me down, down, down down, I'm going down, down, down, down, I'm going down, down, down, down I'm going down, down, down"

Im curious about something....potentially OT
Ive watched the CEOTA website off and on since June 15th when i bought into FHAL for the log deal. CEOTA was sort of "unknown" and DD was difficult to find on them. At one point, Mike Alexander and some representative from CEOTA spoke on M N 1. There might be a copy of it out there, if so it might be a good listen if you are interested in how all of this started.
Annnnnyway, all along the CEOTA website had not changed at all. Their "news" section was basically left at the LOI between them and FHAL for the log deal. Well, today http://www.ceota.com/ is "under construction". Personally im curious to see what it looks like when it comes back online. Watch for it IMO
EDIT : I tried this number below and it i get nothing but a busy signal every time

Well, I think our only hope for the moment is that they put out the 10Q next week, & then in turn it will prompt some MM's to sign on & move us back up to the OTCBB. I wish they would put it out ASAP, but as someone pointed out to me now that they are trading on the grey's they are not obligated to put out the 10Q, if they don't I think it would be a bad move.....I also think they should move on the 6:1 asap because this PPS wouldn't sting so much if we had those extra shares....Still Long....
