About Q Television Network

This television network was organized to create and develop a network devoted to providing television programming for the gay and lesbian community. While the company expects much of its subscriber base to be comprised of members of the gay and lesbian population, management also believes that quality programming about the gay and lesbian experience, designed to entertain, educate and inform, will attract many other segments of the viewing public. The company's programming will be available on a subscription basis to those desiring its programming. The network will broadcast 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Providing distribution via satellite ensures availability of the network across the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

Good point but, Wouldn't it be sweet if Comcast released their own PR? That would give us even more exposure as the comcast stock holder would get the QBID info as well.

QBID Analysis for Mon. 23 Aug 2004

25 period MA-

The closing prices have been above the 25 MA for the second consecutive trading session, thus violating the downtrend line. The closing prices were below 25 MA since middle of June which coincided with the short term peak. THIS IS A VERY GOOD SHORT TERM BULLISH SIGNAL!

200 period MA -

200 MA has been providing excellent long term support level. The prices have been touching this support level for the past 11 trading days. Last time the price touched this support level on 8 July, they rallied from the low of .005 to the high of .01

100 period MA-

100 MA is currently at .01 level. This is a target and the first resistence level.

Bollinger Bands-

BB have continued their narrowing channel indicating price consolidation with low volatility. Price consolidations are often followed by the price breakouts. The last time BB have narrowed to this extent was from March-April just before the big breakout that took the prices from .004 to .03. Also, the price is touching the upper BB. The last time this happened was in the middle of March, just prior to the big rally.

MACD-

MACD is currently at -.001 level and slowly moving to the upside from its low of -.002. EMA 9 has crossed the MACD on 5 Aug which indicates a bullish signal.The last time EMA 9 crossed below MACD was on 3 May at the peak.Judging from the MACD, the short term bottom has been reached.

RSI-

RSI is at 48 level, just below its resistence level of 50. Judging from this pattern, RSI has jumped off its resistance level of 40, which now can act as a support level. Additional indication to the upside is given by the positive divergence which was forming since July.

In summary, QBID is still in consolidation range with the lowest volume since June. The breakout will be imminent. Judging from the previous consolidation patterns, QBID was in the consolidation range for avarage of 1 month. We can expect the breakout to oocur somewhere in the beginning September which would coincide with the launch of QTV.
The direction of breakout as of today, would indicate that it would be to the upside since QBID has broken its down trendline and is sitting on its long term support and momentum indicators are pointing to the bullish direction. Expect the price to move in the narrow range of .004 to .006 until beginning of September. The potential breakout to the upside would bring the prices to .01 level, where we can expect another consolidation process.
For the short tem traders: If you bought below .005 try to sell just below .009 (100% return)
For the long term players: BUY now or if you already own the stock, do not sell.

That thread is closed--can't fix the period.

My take on the Comcast post is that Comcast will have a PR on Monday (tomorrow, next week?) stating that QTN has been added to their lineup. There is still time to get us into their fall lineup.

Usually, Comcast runs free previews a couple of days to promote and introduce new networks to their customers.
