**Want to really have fun?**

Somebody call Barron's & ask them if they would like to know why their magazine was flying off the shelf at 1am in the morning. Just from posts on different boards I know they sold alot more copies than usual.

When Barron's sees a huge spike in magazine sales nation wide & finds out that it's a direct result of a tiny article about QBID. Who knows they might want to do a feature length story on this. It wouldn't hurt for them to know that they inadvertantly spiked the interest of a Half Trillion Dollars worth of disposable income. Think maybe that sector could draw a little interest next publication.

Hi Whiz,
I had to go to two different places to buy Barron's today. I asked for it at the local news/mag shop and the guy answered before I finished my sentence, "Barron's Sold Out already!" like he was annoyed. The cover date is 9/6 which hasn't even arrived yet, so yeah, I'm taking it as a good omen. I made this cut-and-paste of the cover and the ad for our Allstocks group. Anyone who didn't get to see it yet, take a gander before I exceed my bandwidth and have to take it down...

Thursday last week my coworker up here in Ontario Canada said he was listening to a talk show out of Ottawa (Canada's Capital city) and the topic was the Gay Pride movement. He was saying that they where mentioning my gay stocks(his words) and that QTN was going to be starting on Sept 4th in Boston. I was surprised to hear that from a coworker but happy at the same time that this is getting the recognition to be mentioned on this well listened to talk show. It was on the drive to work show so lots of people would have heard about it. He asked me a bunch of questions and then called his father and told him to buy some shares for him.

It is really nice to see that this network is starting to get recognition.

Go Q GO

Realize everyone has been working hard doing DD, but I have to thank BlueEyedBoy because I SOOOO wanted to ask Firefly if that was for a male or female...After asking Anonymous Lurker last month, I was hesitant to ask about someone else...thought everyone might think I was weird (ok..too late)...so now I know that Firefly is a male. Good to know!!

bill, sorry you seemed to have a problem with the link, but I assure you it's just a .jpg on my personal webspace hosted at mac.com and I'm sure it's safe. I think a virus has to launch itself from an attachment, not from just viewing a .jpg (but I'm not an expert).
Mac. com is also hosted on Apple's servers, and I would assume they scan for viruses coming and going. Anyone else having a message when they view?

Well, regardless, it's been up long enough and got over 120 hits so at least a few people got to see the Barron's issue. When I went back to the page just now I realized that since I hosted it as part of my mac "photo album" when you click the picture to view it, it launches within a simple "slide show" window with controllers. A simple application which launches itself like that will probably set off certain sensitive virus protection warnings. Bill your computer must be very well protected. Anyway, all gone now.
Cheers.

Just had a thought...seems like some are thinking that there might be a small sell off in the a.m. because of the delay, which is only a few days (not that long)...The more I thought about this the more I think and hope that most will just hold their shares...this is obviously going to air...

Ms_Gulfcoast said her satelite company received new material and was airing it. So RCN just needs to work out a few kinks and QTN will be broadcasting. Not too much of a problem here. Can't imagine why shareholders would sell right now...this is an excellent entry point for ride up.

Keep wondering if Frank will release the pr tomorrow or wait until RCN is ready to roll...thoughts?

Some may take profit and 01...others will wait until 04...or more...Either way, the profit from 005 to these levels is superb! Hang on, folks. This is going up. Patience, as 1Big says.

Question for anyone willing to respond :

If you could make enough profit off of QBID to pay off bills and pay tuition for 2 semesters (spouse is almost finished with doctorate degree) or take your beloved spouse (and kiddos) on a 3 week vacation to England and Ireland...which would you do? Just curious...either way would be wonderful...just trying to be objective here.

For me, it would depend on my kid's ages and whether they were old enough to truly appreciate the culture of another country. If they were not old enough, then I would spend the money on the necessities and use what's left over for something fun. Just my perspective.

Two oldest would love and appreciate trip, two babies would be oblivious...but have fun as long we were all together...The is just a classic example of id vs. superego...I'm sure my superego will win out on this...but sure would be fun!

Thanks Skendo...hope your two little ones and the pets are doing well!

Oh Baxter...MAMA...THAT'S kinda what I was thinking (id)...it's like FREE money...like with the last QBID run, I paid a few little things off and then bought great furniture for the boys (had fun)... went to the beach ...again, with free..or "found" money!! (LOL)

Bill--you are my responsible voice...I know. I know!! Good to have both sides of my brain respresented... LOL

When QBID runs again I think ALOT of people will have to make choices like this...fun vs. practicality!! Folks, better start making these decisions now...cause QBID will move on up...

Sunny, Hit the road and take that family away.
You work hard to pay your bills and send your kids to college.
Let Q give you some great memories with your family. Like Baxter said, it's money you never had.
Enjoy your life and your kids, it's way too short to not build some GREAT memories with Mom and Dad.
Spend time with them, show them life and enjoy all the time you can with them, as long as you can.
This coming from a Mommy of Adult children as well as a new little Angel.

JMHO, feeling all wishy washy tonight. I was able to spend the whole day with all of my babies and my Grand babies, I am truly blessed.
Enjoy it, no matter what you decide to do.

Sunny, have you thought about making it a shorter trip for just the two of you? My kids can't really remember any vacation before they were at least five or six. They just wanted to go to an amusement park, the beach, grandmothers' or the mountains.

However, I do remember a continental flight with preschoolers. Even though everyone complimented them on their good behavior, I would not do it again-- especially now that security in airports makes airport time so much longer, . Also think about the different foods over there.

I'm with Bill, pay the bills, take a smaller trip and save for the big one when all of you will really enjoy and remember it. Have fun.

Lil' ....You have the kind of family I hope I have one day...big and happy. My husband and I have the four little boys and beyond that not a whole lot...But one day, my children will be part of something larger..a big, happy and supportive family Even though mine are still small, I wonder what my grandchildren will be like. (I'm going to be an AWESOME Grandma!!)

We do take trips, and like Suzainiee said, flying is certainly not the easiest thing to do right now. Imagine it would be easier in 2 years. Now that it has been discussed, think one of the best ways to approach this is to: make the QBID profit, compromise on the practical and save a chunk (with interest) for 2006...actually, husband will finish his doctorate program then...would be a darn good graduation gift!! ("Honey, we're hitting UK!")

Thanks for the input and conversation... tomorrow morning we'll be back on topic: QBID!!!

Must run...it's 11 p.m. and I have to work on decorating my 2nd grader's classroom "wish-list" box...taking a white box and turning it into a CAR!! (mom's work is never done...LOL)

Have a great sleep and thanks again for the ideas!!

Come on Frank...I've got PLANS!!! (as do most of you all, too. )

Sunny,

No problem... I thought it would be wierd of me to ask too, however I figured what the heck... And good thing I did I suppose

I am twenty-three and there aren't many women stock investors, at least posting roughly around my age range, give or take three or four years... if there are speak up, lol

Hey go check this site out: It is a forum for the New Iraqi Dinar (NID)...

Something to take your mind off of Qbid for a little bit.

Sunny, I am also expecting some sort of sell off, possibly day traders holding from Thursday/Friday expecting better news, ect...

Again, if the price does drop down, buy more if you can or remember Q-Televisions promiss of a buyback until October of 2004... low prices now aren't good but can be to our advantage...

We are still doing great...

Lets recap a bit shall we:

1. The Q-Television Network has a conract with Time Warner to carry our signal to all of their affilites.

Just curious...either way would be wonderful...just trying to be objective here.
.

Pay off your Bills and School. Suzie Orman would also recommend this !!!!
