The QTN site has the update. Sorry if this has already been posted. Frank Olsen announced today that despite a gigantic effort by the staffs of RCN and Q Television Network, technical difficulties between the uplink facility in New Orleans and the operating units Of RCN caused the launch of Q Television Network to be delayed by a few days. The launch which was scheduled for 12.57 P.M., September 4, 2004 will be restarted as soon as these difficulties are worked out. Q television has received assurances from all parties concerned that it will be “up” before the end of next week. We're overdue big time! QBID hasn't had a 20+% gain since July 14th. and a 15+% gain since August 5th. We're overdue for one. Pinks can do it so quickly, and often that going this long without a huge gain or even loss is very rare. No doughts folks! It's a matter of time we're jumping for joy again. They've done their soft launch (oops I mean test signal.......), then the hard launch (oops I mean the carrier preview....) and they've had a deal with RCN for at least 1-2 months. Why are they just now finding out there's a problem, the day they're supposed to go live? This gives the impression that they have no clue what's going on, causing nervousness, then selling. Well, we all know what "digital" means: I confirmed with RCN that they will be on digital tier and not analog. We all know what "Premium" means. An "Ad-supported" client is a client in which has advertisements that are displayed while the program is running. The justification for ad-supported client is that it helps recover programming development cost and helps to hold down the cost for the user. IP: Logged |

Just got off the phone with Troy From Q. Great guy. My question to him was. When are we Launching? He said "Tomorrow, Due to some problems, (that we had over the weekend and cleared up today) we are back on track". I also asked if there would be a PR announcing the launch, His response was, "I'm not sure, the only information I was given to me today was, we will launch tomorrow". Funny - you all stick your heads in the sand and pretend that REALITY does not exist. Guess what? I'm an owner of Q-bid. The only reason I own it is because I bought it at .014 about 6 months ago, and I will either watch it dwindle into nothing (which I'm certain of) or watchit rise. I'm not selling it, because it is a good reminder of why I should NEVER take the advice of people on this board, and why penny should only be invested in if you are shorting. I'd love to cut and paste all of the: "Here we go!" and other drivel you people keep shoving down each other's throats on a daily basis.
