I don't know if this is accurate, but I was told by a very experienced trader that brokerages can't loan your shares after you have notified them not to do so. Even if it's not true, I felt better after meeting with them.

Does anyone know the facts on this subject?

Our volume today was down almost 100m from our average. I'm just concerned that the mm selling the shares actually had the shares to sell. Does that make any sense?

When I buy stocks, I instruct Ameritrade that I do not wish for my shares to decrease in value.

That never seems to work.

I did read a while back, that if your shares are in a cash account (NON- margin) they can't be borrowed.

Did you hear what happened when the firefly flew into a screen door?

First, the women's beach volleyball. Those two ladies are wearing bikinis and slap each other on the hips each time they score a point. And when they won the gold, holy crap! One of them jumped on top of the other and were embracing each other lying on the sand. Now how many guys TiVo'ed that one?

Then today, I saw a bit of guy's wrestling. Both guys are wearing skin tight gay looking uniforms and they are grabbing each other and trying to pin the other one down.
