I use scottrade. The ask and bid prices are not shown. (I also have to call the broker to place pink orders) Is there a web site that shows real time ask and bid?

you only see ask and bids if you buy the level 2 info from scottrade or any of the brokers. it is supplied at a monthly fee,

What I would do if I happen to come across 100k?

~ Pay off all my CC debt & then freeze the cards!

~ Lease a new car

~ Buy the JetSki I always wanted

~ Reinvest 1/4 of it into stocks.

~ Downpayment on another investment property

~ Put away $18k for travelling 2 times a year for the next 3yrs.

~ Still have some left over.

QBID has to hit .09 for that to come true.
Geez to easy.

Good morning...Just had my Kit Kat and diet coke for breakfast...certainly not Diana's breakfast for Champions, but, hey, it's working!

Thanks Earth_Shaker...I watch Suzie Orman, too...probably leaning towards the conservative, at least for another year or so, then, we're off to UK!! 1BIG always had such an organized, planned-out way of looking at things...wish I was more like that.

Okay. QBID had an excellent placement in Barron's...and Frank/RCN had to delay airing for a few days. Could go either way...but I already have a buy order in for 150,000 more shares just in case it drops low for me

So, hang on everyone. Gear up...we're heading into turbulence. Afterwards, clear blue skies.

Great DD folks. Hi everyone and good luck to all. Lilpenny--I would certainly not want to get on your bad side. lol Great research on the basher bunch.

I am back to lurk. Hey guys. Lets make a pact. No matter what. Lets all go to Vegas!!! No matter what I will still pay for the Rooms.

I am back to LURK!! Thank you all for the heart felt friendship and humor that the Q has brought to our lives. I do love you all and you know I am like a mother hen waiting for all her little Q chicks to hatch. lol
Sorry--I am having a moment. I have switched from Skittles to Hot Tamales Cinnamin Chews. They are almost as addictive but they seem to make me very emotional. Maybe it just all the nesting. lol Great Work Folks.

Hard to tell Sunny, but my guess is we will be waiting for RCN to work out the bugs and get Q on the air.

Good morning everyone

If we're talking bugs, maybe I should send Terminix over to RCN headquarters...get this darn thing on the air!!!

Seriously, I'm hopeful that by end of week things will be bug-free.

FCC Will Reportedly Fine CBS $550,000

The FCC is set to impose a record indecency fine for CBS' broadcast of singer Janet Jackson's breast during January's Super Bowl.

-- Broadcasting & Cable, 9/7/2004 8:50:00 AM

The FCC is set to impose a record $550,000 indecency fine against CBS-owned stations for their broadcast of singer Janet Jackson's breast-bearing incident during January's Super Bowl, the Washington Post reported on Saturday.

The newspaper report, which cited unnamed FCC sources, said the agency was expected to vote unanimously for the fine, which would be the largest levied against a television broadcaster.

The amount represents a $27,500 fine for each of the 20 television stations owned by CBS, which in turn is owned by Viacom Inc, the paper said.

http://www.broadcastingcable.com/article/CA450980?display=Breaking+News&referral=SUPP

And Q Television is looking better & better. Viacom will not be as quailty as QTN is!

Sorry. Didn't post this here yesterday but I did somewhere else.

Tomm. Prediction:

Looking at the most recent #'s, delay in launch, and Barron's advertisment I am thinking QBID will drop below our support of .0050 maybe even to .0045 to scare even more people but it will close near .0055 with a slight negative close. Then we continue our trend upwards Wednesday & thereafter.

Aug. 25 - .0052 + 4.00%
Aug. 26 - .0051 - 1.92%
Aug. 27 - .0052 + 1.96%
Aug. 30 - .0055 + 5.77%
Aug. 31 - .0056 + 1.82%
Sept. 1 - .0055 - 1.77%
Sept. 2 - .0056 + 1.82%
Sept. 3 - .0057 + 1.79%

Alloha! I am Mr. Hand... Lol, figured that would make on or two of you smile..

So how is everyone? 1bigTip, I couldn't agree with that prediction more, expect some more shakes with those french fries!

Sunny/Suzannie How are you today?

Wizardress, in lurk mode? lol! That's alright, silent but skillful is Wizardress mode for today! Just wanted to say 'hi'!

Whiz! Keep up the work and the morale!!! We are ALMOST there!

The Q's down 7% or so, which is to be expected, weak hands, day traders expecting better news/results... Considering things 7% isn't SO bad, and we are still above .005 , sooooo I guess I can't complain, well I can but I wont! lol...

Pharm, Pharm, Pharm, has anyone heard from him? I heard he was on a trip, has he returned? I am not sure if he knows my new screen name, so if he is here PLEASE pass a hello from byrd/jbcak47 to him! Thanks!

So Janet Jackson is now going to cost CBS Tv 500k dollars... I bet that is the most a coperate executive has paid for ONE boob, ever!

-I have to go find food, this byrd is hungry-

yep thats what my accountant told me short term is the same as income 22% for me unless I hit it big then it could go up to 33% if I made enough money didnt know I get a break for holding for a year though ty I will have to call and ask about that.

YOU ARE CORRECT...SHORT TERM HOLDING (LESS THAN 1 YEAR) PAYS TAX AT NORMAL INCOME TAX RATE...LONG TERM HOLD (> 1 YEAR) PAYS CAPITAL GAINS RATE OF 15%.....GOD BLESS GEORGE W. BUSH!!!!

I never liked Uncle Sam, everytime I would have fun playing, he would try to act like a father and give me commands.
So one day I decided not to ever speak to him again. I changed address, phone numbers and cars. So Uncle Sam has been looking for me for years. He keeps finding my address & writing to me but I never answer him back.

It's always, I want, I want, I want, and he never thinks of me!

Maybe one day I'll realize that he's like family and give in and respect him and give him what he wants and I would only do that so I won't have to see him at my door one day.

That was just to make you laugh and of course I know about Unc.Sam..I'll use my other income to pay the taxes from the profits.
