Game Reporter: Mark Perry

11/18/2003

[UPDATE] Survey of console gamers comes up with a mixed bag of preferences. GameSpot talks to the survey's lead reseacher, Billy Pidgeon.

Today, game industry analysts from the Zelos Group released findings that paint an interesting-but-complicated picture of today's typical console gamer.

- Game rentals add to the industry's overall bottom line. The study reports that about one third of respondents indicate that they rent games and these users have a high propensity to use rentals as a means to inform purchase decisions. Hardcore gamers are more likely to rent games than their avid and casual gamer counterparts. Almost half of hardcore gamers indicate they rent at least one game a month, and almost 20 percent say they rent five or more.

GS: What is driving the increased reliance or interest in renting games? Is it high retail prices? Do rentals steal revenues from retail sales or do rentals compliment and drive sales?

BP: Rental is a reliable and inexpensive method to try a game before buying it. Rental is a negative for inferior games and for short games that can be easily finished within a rental period and offer little replay value. Game rentals bring in big revenues for rental outlets and can complement and drive sale for good games with depth and replay value.

What a promising note. And it makes sense that hardcore gamers may want to rent before purchasing. Take it out for a test drive. Weed out the weak games from the strong ones.

Mach..
I am becoming really excited about the prospects of this company. Even after the release of the info that they are releasing another 100 million shares, there stock fell, but did not plummet. So now it appears to me that they have a credit line of…..currently, 3 million dollars….to expand their business. I would really be curious to get some hard numbers on how many subscribers they had. That’s $20,000 a month in revenue for every 1000 subscribers they have. I would love to see PGHI do a couple things..

First, finish the name change and get the new site up. Second, dramatically increase their inventory, and third, go on a major advertising campaign. One like NetFilx…..Putting fliers in games, maybe even commercials someday.

I know they are working on the first two of those things. I really hope they get a good advertising campaign going someday. That could be what makes or breaks this company. I also want to comment on a couple of things, first…I believe this idea of video game rental is even better then DVD rental. I am part of the generation x and most of my friends still play video games.

Watching movies has been around forever….given time for this business model to blossom we could see some serious money someday. I only have two worries. One, well this isn’t a worry….time issue. I believe that this business model can be very profitable…but it might take a while for it to fully bloom. Like NetFlix going from $4 to $60, that took over a year, that would be like saying PGHI going from .04 to .40 in over a year. That’s GREEAAATTT, but it still is going to take time. Talking about dollars could take years. Or it could just fly to the “moon”. But most likely it will take time.

Second, the people we have running the show…I don’t know anything about them, but I hope they know what their doing. I could not verify that our John Fleming worked for Ford Motor company. Although I did find out that he has a PHD in accounting, a PHD in anything is a plus….takes serious patience and diligence to get a PHD.

Its going to take talented people to nurture this company…and if John and GamezNflix can’t do it, then another company will……..hopefully NetFlix doesn’t get any bright ideas soon. But, all that said…..I love the new name and what appears to be the new site. The future does look bright but only time will tell. I agree with mach when he says that no one will go broke who already owns this stock….but I feel it will take some time and patience in order to make serious money.

Any ideas on when the next pr could be. Seems like their going to be moving to KY till Jan 1st. I hope when we see pictures that its not a barn….Seeing a warehouse would make me feel great.

Betn... let me clarify your post. They did not "release" 100 million shares. Make sure your understanding of that is clear. There is a difference between Authorized Shares and Public Float. Nothing has changed as of now. Rather what you have seen is a combination of profit-taking and confusion on behalf of uneducated investors. I always look at this as opportunity to pick up additional shares at a discounted rate. Also. Don't underestimate the market. Be more confident in PGHI. A dollar will happen much sooner than you think, but lets take this one step at a time. .10-.12 within 4 weeks. Regards. Mach

The S-8 is registration IT DOES NOTHING TO THE OUTSTANDING TOTAL.

It simply provides management with a way to pay for services at market price value vs. spending cash.

i.e. Attorney wants $10,000 for services At $.03 we could give him 333,333 S-8 Shares or a combination of cash and stock.

NONE OF THE S-8 SHARES HAVE BEEN SPENT ONLY RESERVED FOR USE

Further S8 shares are often restricted for 6 months to 2 years once issued. If someone were to hand you 1 million shares of PGHI tommorrow... would you sell them. The answer is "no". Not when you know they have the potential to be worth much more in the future. Much more!

Thanx for clarifying that for me. When they use some of the authorized shares, will we see another decline in the stock?

I hope your right about the dollar happening much sooner then I think, because I was thinking about one to three years. Do you think it will happen sooner, that is, if we stay the course

Has anyone on here actually recieved an e-mail from Mr. Flemming. I have written the company and the Investors relations... I have not recieved anything back from any of them. I know that there are posts from him, but where did the e-mails come form. Were they e-mailed to someone that is on here, or were they found on another board.

Betn... you really should buy a few books and begin your stock trading studies... or surf the web... type in key word searches and all the answers will be there. I help as much as I can with respect to trading with bb stocks... but much of this info is widely available and the net is a great resource at your finger tips.... Good luck to you. All good things happen in time. Be patient. mach

More evidence of the DVD boom came from

the video rental industry. As of July 21, consumer spending on DVD rentals surpassed spending on DVD rentals for all of last year, according to the Video Software Dealers Association, a trade group based in Encino, Calif.

For the weeks ended Jan. 6 through July 21 — a 29-week period — rental revenues hit $1.47 billion, an increase of $7 million or 5 percent over the $1.4 billion revenue for all of last year, according to the association.

Just to clarify, John Fleming of PGHI is NOT the same one from GM. We've emailed him 2 months ago and asked him that question already.

On another note, I'm happy to see that more and more investors are interested in PGHI everyday. I've been in this stock since 0.008 and I've been mostly posting on the RB board. GLTA!

PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC

And by 2007, the company forecasts, software and hardware for games will be worth about $56 billion in North America alone. Put simply, video gaming is the world's fastest growing form of entertainment. "Nobody would be in this business if they weren't making money," says Lisa Webber, Microsoft Canada's marketing manager of PC games.

There are more profits on the horizon. Technological advances in computer chip development enable companies to put faster console systems and games with better graphics out year after year, so consumers keep having to upgrade their systems and buy updated titles if they want to enjoy the latest and greatest. Currently, Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo dominate the console industry. They sell their systems at cost or even at a loss, and then make their profits on the games.

SCHB & GVRC @ Bid OF .03. WIEN @ ASK OF .039.
MACD crossover occured at the close Friday. Bollinger Bands tightened/Price Piercing the upper Bollinger Band near the close of Fridays session. These are all bullish indicators. The position is poised to move up today (December 15th). Happy Trading. mach

Either Shwabb or wien sits on the ask,(maybe selling short) and keep selling..When weak hands sell , either bamm or nite are collecting all the shares..
Just before the rally starts Schwab suddenly increases it's bid covers it's short..For example,
today scwabb sold the shares @ .031 and some @ .03..It's bid is .027 NOW..
BAMM AND NITE the highest bid, which creates little bit confidence..Then they decrease their bids, let's say to .027(imaginary)
That creates panic, at the mean time Schwabb raises it's bid e'g to .029 or .03..Covers all the shares he sold short during the panic..After panic ends bamm and nite increasing the bid and the run starts..
That's PURE speculation..

Basically, Schwab and wien are helping to bamm and nite to accumulate more shares by keeping the ask low..

MM game they play often when accumulating. Gap it up and bring it down fast to shake hands.... Seen it often.... They would still like to pick up shares in the .02's. No way are they getting any of my shares. As a matter of fact... bring it on. I can buy many more! mach

Mach,
I think NITE and BAMM got the shares they wanted..What surprised me that SCHB hasn't tried to cover it's short..Having watched the MM's action very closely, I think MM's accumulation is over and supply&demand will determine the stock price from now on.. Unfortunately, I don't see any buying presssure at this point..IMO, what we need is a good PR to start rolling again..
The good thing is that everybody ( investors, traders and MM's) knows PGHI will test the .05 resistance level very soon..Check the level II, and see how the MM's positioned themselves for a run to .05..The question for me is when this run will occur(this week, next week or in January)..
If we break .05, then the real party will start IMO..The breakout you have been talking about (a run to .1) might occur in the early Jan. IMO..
Time will tell..
Good Luck

I think you will see buying pressure gradually increase within the next 5 trading days. By December 23rd... the "Bulls" will have seized complete control once again. imho if you are looking for the next "big ride..." you need to have shares before December 22. I'm anticipating a very strong move here between December 23 and January 15th. A combination of strong Techs and great PR's should support this move. .029-.03 Target Entry is ideal. Don't get caught chasing it. And remember that from current trading levels... there is much more upside. Continuing to trade in the upper half of the Bollinger Band. mach
