old mullet Member	posted December 05, 2003 13:00 some stock strategists say never to average down. i always average in when i buy just like average out i sell. it is part of my diversity philosophy. i rarely pick the bottom or the top correctly, but can often hit a range right. it is too easy to miss the boat by squeezing those last few dollars out of a trade. if you have done your homework, and nothing drastic has changed keeping the faith can provide some good opportunities. uncle milty IP: Logged
