I agree with most of what you've said. Although the CC was not smoothe and Frank's communication skills need some work, overall I liked what was said and think Frank gave us several significant positives. Since I did not expect answers to all our questions and I already knew that Frank would not "charm" us, he exceeded my expectations. As Richard said, the CC information will take some "digesting". I hope everyone allows that to happen before posting today.

By the way, I think Mary Hartman Mary Hartman was great. It was just too "far-out" for its time. But it doesn't matter what we think as long as Frank can make money owning it. Just hope he doesn't overpay to get it.

MT,

That was me asking the question to Frank. Prior to me getting on, he had said "in the next couple of weeks" (the gun was loaded).I reiterated that and asked him to give me a solid confirmed date. He said he could not because every time he thinks he it is done the accounting firm asks for anonther piece of paper. Is the audit complete? He then went on to say about Holloween and gays like that day because of celebration and dressing up and that was the day he would like to release it.

Based on that, there is a possibility on the 31st but no promise. I am hoping he has respect for his fellow gays that he represents and releases on that date and no later.

If this is true can we as share holders of qbid also buy shares in Triangle Multi Media. My second question is on the audit that is due to be completed around October 31, 2005 is this going to be a partial audit or a full audit? Once again I am a long time share holder and have 100% faith that this company has a fair chance of making it big. Good luck to everyone.

On the question about the audit..

1. i do expect it by oct 31st - great news
2. it will be cerfified by a professional accouting firm, thus finally giving us 3rd party numbers.
3. i do not think they are submitting it to the SEC just yet because i think they need to clean up the "dirty" shell first...

Hope that answers your question

You don't own shares of QTN or QTN itself. Triangle Multimedia trades under the symbol of QBID and ownes QTN. Hope that helps.

he didn't say he doesn't own QBID. he said he does not own shares of Q Television. there is a difference.

what we all have bought is the ticker symbol QBID which is the ticker for Triangle Multi Media.

There is not ticker for Q Television network.

Q is a wholly owned subsidiary of Triangle Multimedia.

you own shares of a company that owns Q television.

that is why Frank stated that he does not own shares of Q television, because they dont exist.

people are too focused on the tv station and fail to realise that is only one endeavour of the company.

we could sell off the station, the company would get the revenues, and then build another station or change direction, and become a completely different company all together. we still own the shares, and the value of the sale would reflect in our share price.

I hope this helps you understand that side of it a bit better.

i highly doubt this as well.

i will however bet that we see .0006 though before we see .001

Frank as much as said there is still shares that are being dumped from the restricted that came due.

untill they are gone, supply will exceed demand.

simple economics.

Pretty quiet on the board today. Hope that means people are revisiting the CC and will judge the content instead of the package.

For the record, I think Frank gave us at least 10 significant positives and I walked away smiling. [Big Grin]

And I am still smiling. [Big Grin]

Davis i dont want to argue but this is not true.

people have felt good about Q for a long time. the price continues to fall.

the reality is that there are shares that are being dumped to the open market and there is not enough demand to gobble them up and keep the price the same.

its like a liquidation sale, you lower your asking price till someone decides its a good deal and will buy it.

we have more supply of shares then what we have for demand.

everyone here keeps saying they will buy more if the price goes down, WHY? because it is a good deal. I still feel this is a good deal at this price. but as long as they are dumping shares this is what is going to happen.

Frank said that they are almost dried up, lets hope that means only days left, but if this goes on for another week we will see more down ticks.

that doesn't mean that everyone is upset with the CC. it is just the way it goes when supply exceeds demands.

Don't get me wrong, when this dilution into the float stops, then in order for anyone to get in, they will have to raise thier bids until someone sees enough proffit to sell.

that is when you will see the price moving up slowly.

Rod

Good find Wangdo. This breaks down to TW providing cable to 53% of the cable subscribing population in NYC. This means that there would be exactly 898,605 TW subscribers in NYC. The total number of cable subscribers (1,695,482) does not include RCN (an Open Video Service) or any satellite provider.

I have pinpointed the subscriber nubers in San Diego from another local article about the Adelphia buyout. Cox Communications and Times Warner both provide to SD and I would assume Frank is pushing for QTN to be on both networks in SD. TW provides to about 208,000 and Cox to 540,000 in SD...

http://www.signonsandiego.com/uniontrib/20050409/news_1b9adelphia.html

"If the deal goes through, Adelphia's estimated 68,000 North County cable subscribers will most likely become customers of Time Warner, which has a large San Diego County presence, local telecommunications analyst Mark Kersey said.

Even after the deal is completed, Time Warner, with an estimated 208,000 local subscribers, would remain No. 2 to Cox Communications, which has an estimated 540,000 subscribers in San Diego County."

just a quick note on the population vs subscription numbers vs actual homes with Cable

when you look at the population as being several million, you have to break that down to an average of say 2 or 3 to a household. then you have to break it down to figure out the average of how many homes dont have cable.

then you can start to work on the number of subscribers in that area and use your percentages.

think about it this way.

there are what? maybe 100 million people in the US? im not sure.

but then you look at Dish network, they have the potential of reaching every one of these people.

but realistically they only have 11 million subscriptions as of this summer.

in NY there are dishes, there are antennas and there is cable and there are those that dont use any of them, so you are going to come up with unrealistic numbers if you use just a population of an area to try and figure out what your potential subscription rate is going to be.
