glad you liked what you heard Hutch

after a brief digestion, i do have a high metabalism

id like to think there were a few people standing around Frank this afternoon who would correct him if his statement were off or totally inaccurate.

so with that said a near 1 billion $$ company with 10 million in liabilities sounds pretty darn good to me as wel,

i have to say though the roughly give or take, 44 billion shares is quite disturbing

Frank intimated that NY might be on the horizon. NY is the entertainment mecca of the east coast. If Q becomes available throughout the city that could be a major springboard for the national rollout. Anything new and hip in NY makes the news. They are trendsetters. To quote the song... if we can make it there, we can make it anywhere. Well, maybe not the bible belt.

I have yet to disagree with FOT's observations. Getting to AMEX will require a staggering increase in pps. How to get there in 6-8 months? Only way is with an RS. I can appreciate Frank's sincerity in wanting to reward long term holders but he is most certainly limited in his options to get there.

I am going to post my thoughts on the CC, and im sure im going to get eaten alive, but let me have it guys, disagree with me, just keep it real!

just off the top of my head...

well, first of all, unlike 95% of Q board posters i came away from the CC with a big smile on my face and thought it went well...

I found myself laughing at some of franks comments and im still laughing just thinking of what he said...

Frank, definately not a public speaker. Couldnt have been much worse in his communication...

One of the main things i take from this CC is that Frank is sincere and i believe honest (or at least in his mind honest)...

These shares that VERT is diluting ARE NOT HIS...He HAS NOT sold a share in 3 years

I think that i probably came away from the CC in a better mood because i truely expected the OS to be double what he previsouly said because they would never say if Franks shares were included or not...lead me to believe that it was bad....

so yes, 44B, which is bad...worst news of the night by far...

Here is what i liked big time...
QBID is not diluting for operational costs and probably has not diluted since the studio deal...VERT is selling restricted shares...Frank did say they were close to being bought up, but who knows....

1Billion+ in assets, 10 Million in debt...GREAT NEWS...

What do you mean "wow" MT??? I thought the CC was aweful at best.

4Tune4Me - I was just as surprised as you to hear that the AMEX was Frank's dream. Kind of scary considering the HUGE increase in PPS needed to get listed there. I believe the PPS must be over $3.00 to be listed there, which would most definately require a R/S right now. Let's hope this audit brings some drastic changes to the PPS and that Frank announces some huge buybacks in the near future. I was against buybacks (until the debt was paid off) before the CC, but now it seems the only way Frank can get what he wants and keep his word (which he stated again today) that there will be no R/S.

Come on subscribers and come on audit...

LOL Rod, yea, Amex, like his wet dream.....but seriously, way too many shares to move the PPS in any substantial amount, without positive financials....the audit will, hopefully, show what is truly happening....have fun [Wink]

We have deals with...

COX-eruka
COX-San diego---HUGE!!!are they the main cable company in san diego and what is the population???landing this was pretty dang big...probably the best yet...

TWC-Lincoln nebraska!!--Pretty dang big...this maybe rank up 2nd best as it is again with the top cable carrier...We need numbers also on lincoln nebraska

And WOW

New york city here we come!!!holy cow...this may be the thing in itself that brings us to breakeven...honestly, whats the population of NYC and what is the major cable carrier???

Im guessing that the popluation is 10 Million in NYC...???#1 cable company Time Warner?? If so, Time warner probably has a good 4 Million subs there, and if im not mistaken NYC is pretty big for the GLBT community...

These 4 more additional cities will bring Q to profitablity i believe...The more the merrier though

I agree about NYC MT. The actual metropolitan population was nearly 22,000,000 in 2000.

And another thing i think some people are getting hung up on...

Franks dream to get on the AMEX...

I will have to review the CC again, but i think he made this his DREAM...not 5-6 months...but his dream...this will not be happening anytime soon...

The OTCBB will be first and probably within 5-6 months...OTCBB is a good stock exchange
--TO GET ON THE OTCBB ALL YOU NEED IS TO BE FULLYREPORTING!!!

To get on the AMEX, look at #3

For the most part, I would agree MT. Frank definately has clout in the industry, and is using it, AND trying to make money. His efforts and stated reasoning, make sense. His demeanor as a CEO, leaves me leary at best. Short term, nice 'lil run after the audit. Long term, R/S is immenent. JMHO...

Look guys, i understand many are going to disagree with me on how the CC went...

i agree completely that 44B is terrible and that Frank could not have been a worse public speaker..ahahahaahahahahh WOW!!

I believe that Frank was speaking from the heart, this stock can come all the way down to .0001 and that would actually probably be best case scenario...Frank and company would probably commense the buyback from there...

I was also surprised to see that Franks 19 foster kids are included in that 53% which makes me feel good to because he aint gonna be screwin around with his kids....

all i ask guys, is when you disagree with me, dont just say im stupid or somethin, explain why you think differently

I think the NYC comment is best thing to come out of this CC.

Remember about a month or so ago, one of the hosts stated on his blog that the New York Times was doing a feature on Qtv and then two days later his blog was down.

Is Time-Warner the largest carrier in New York City?

Does anyone know if it is?

Yes TW is the largest carrier in NY. They have about 3.1 million subscribers after the Adelphia purchase is complete. (anyone know if it is or not?)

...Once these transactions are complete, 85% of Time Warner Cable's managed subscribers will be located in five large clusters, including (in round numbers): 3.1 million in New York, 2.6 million in Texas, 2.4 million in California, 2.3 million in Ohio and 1.9 million in the Carolinas. Time Warner Cable will be the largest cable provider in both New York City and Los Angeles, cities which anchor the country's two largest designated market areas (DMAs)...

By the way...I am not sure how many of that 3.1 mil is actually in NYC, but I am pretty sure we are safe to assume it's a substantial amount.
