Risk versus Reward?

You tell me!

The purchasing power of the U.S. gay and lesbian population will hit an estimated $610 billion in 2005, according to a 2004 study by Witeck-Combs Communications, a Washington, D.C.-based marketing firm specializing in the gay marketplace.

Michelle Scales, director of Wells Fargo's division of "diverse growth segments," ticked off a list of attributes that makes the gay and lesbian market a natural fit for the bank: the U.S. gay population is estimated to include 15 million people with a combined $610 billion in purchasing power. Gays and lesbians are twice as likely to own a small business as non-gays, and 75 percent have incomes above the national average. Seven of every 10 gay couples own a home.

Now consider this,,,

(1) Do they have a product or service?

(2) Is it a quality product or service?

(3) Is it a marketable product or service?

(4) Are there precedents, companies that provide the same kind of product or service?

(5) Do most if not all these companies trade for over a dollar a share?

(6) What differentiates my prospect from these other companies?

(7) Do they have a target demographic?

(8) Does that demographic have the means to support the product?

(9) Where does the commercial community stand, do Fortune 500 Companies want to reach the prospect's target demographic?

(10) Can the prospect deliver an effective avenue for the major corporations to reach this market?

(11) Do they have sponsors?

(12) What's the possible impact of their primary competition & will my prospect have the lead in the market?

(13) Does this prospect have management with a proven track record of not only running a company but actually bringing a company to market, making it successful & profiting from this endeavor.

And most importantly one personal question,,,

(14) Do I have the discipline, willingness & conviction to maintain a large core position.

Yep, it boils down to Risk versus Reward?

We must remember, they have been taking us down real slow. With the right news....what took weeks or months to dwindle could rebound in a day.

If we get proof of what the company is worth with the completed audit.....we should see a correction in share price to fair market value. It could very well run past it's fair market value in a buying frenzy. Getting off the pinks could make us soar....especially if it was announced in conjuction with fully reporting status. wouldn't that make some people swallow their gizzards.

anyway....remember....we are dying a slow death but this stock will see big life if Frank has integrity and completes the audit and gets off the pinks.

QBID has been very good and bad to me. right now....the bad is winning. Frank can turn this around in short order if he's telling the truth.

i remember the 1st day i bought QBID and i was driving on a business trip. I was trying to buy 2 million shares at .005. I ended up finally getting 1 million at a penny that day. i chased it up that much in one afternoon.

so....when joe mm gets word that QBID is reporting with a clean audit.....move over because all the new money is sitting on the sideline watching this one evolve.

I'm sure we would all have a better coscience on the company if we could see the programming. That in itself will most likely bring in new investors if it could be seen across the nation. Viewing the programming by most of the country would put QTN on the map...big time. we need to be available across the nation to attract and sign on new subscribers.

With all that said.....we need carriage, we need a clean audit that is filed with the SEC and we need off the pink sheets. If Frank will do that......this pps will be forgotten quickly.

until then.....the drop in pps has created a vacuum. Someone drill a bleed hole to break the vacuum.

doc

risk- loosing all your money.
reward-making a lot of money.
thats not a good risk to reward ratio.
this sounds like las vegas or going to the horse races. Consider the fact that the gay population is just a small percentage of the population. Unlike BET it wouldnt draw many other viewers. BET focused on black people but many young people that arnt black watch it because "hip hop" or "rap" is popular. A gay channel wont draw many other people. Also you have to consider MTV is creating its own gay channel. Im sure MTV is better funded so if there were to be a big gay channel it would be MTVs gay channel. Also I wouldnt stake my money on the hope that some guy named frank is going to make this stock go up. Even if gay people have a lot of money that isnt nessasayly going to bring many advertisers because much of tv advertising is for cheap things like laundry detergent so the advertisers want to reach as many viewers as possible, not as many wealthy people as possible. Also many areas in the US would never let this channel in there areas which would make it a even smaller audience. If this stock was so great why is it so low. about 2 weeks ago I posted on the other qbid page and guessed that in 6 months it would be .0007.(see page 55) I guess it didnt take much more then two weeks to aproach this area. My revised estimate will be that in two months qbid will be .0004 but just keep buying since in a few years qbid will be trading for 1 dollar a share. Buy more at .0003 then .0001 Then youl all be richer then Bill Gates once this stock goes up to 10 dollars. Just never loose hope and faith in qbid. I figure if you buy now at .0008 once it gets to a dollar you will have over 1 million dollars. You will all be some of the most succesfull investors this country has ever seen.

Hi all, did anyone see this? What's your thoughts?

I got this from the RB site:

Irish, this is from koreanvet at the Q forum. Looks like Frank is getting ready to do the old hucklebuck on shareholders.

Well gang I was out today and stopped in on the Q studio in FT.Worth.

The studio is closed and everything has been moved to Calif.

A young man at the front desk told me that the studio is now called TRIANGLE MULTI-MEDIA. No longer under the Q-Television name.

The young man said that Frank might use the studio for something else at a later date, but not plans are in the works.

Went over to Firestone Comm. and spoke to Jim.

No new carriers are in the loop as yet and they are still sending signals to RCN,COX and TW.

Was told that the programs have changed somewhat but the programs are still the same as months back.

Asked about the NETWORK TELEPORTS deal in New Orleans.

They only heard that the deal was for TRIANGLE MULTI-MEDIA and that QTV had nothing to do with the deal.Remember this is all second hand info.

Was told that TRIANGLE-MULTI was setting up some sort of a deal with FEMA>

Will drop in on Firestone in a few weeks and see if they are getting ready for new carriers.

Firestone now gets all the Q data from Calif. They then uplink to their bird. The bird then downloads to the cable companies.

Looks like we will go to .0002-3 soon.

Just holding for some news bye the end of the year.

This thing can only go to .0000 and I don`t think Frank will sell.

Good luck to all of us

Whiz....after reading the last posts on the old thread(positive)and the predominately negative on this one...I will apologize in advance...but truth is truth.

Several people over the last few weeks have been voicing concern...trying to be as positive as possible. Today Betting Babe thru out her 101 theory...to me, the bottom line is this...

MANY of us have been in this stock for 1 to 1 1/2 years...
We bought at 50's, 40's, 30's, 20's, 10's.....

We have had our money tied up for Frank to build this company for a LONG time...missed 100's of other plays that would have made us good income...

...and now newbie Joe Schmuck can walk in off the street..w/o the stress and loss we've experienced the last several months...and NOW buy this at less than a 1/10 of a cent???!!!

TELL ME...how has Frank done a damn thing to protect us longs...he's f'd us and f'd us again.
You, Suz, Rod, Doc, Sam or anybody...REFUTE this...no one can...I hope we still make money off of this...it was/is a great opportunity...but be honest...Frank has used and abused us...and is probably smiling about it....that smile may just be knocked off one day...

Exactly, the biggest pumper here. New investors beware of this stock. It's a money pit like most penny stocks.

Well you know that old saying.

BUYER BEWARE!!

If your to lazy to do your own DD you deserve to loose your money for riding someone elses coat-tails.

Simple as this, would you buy a new car because your buddy said that its nice?

Q Television Network Launches in Two New Time Warner Cable Divisions: Rochester and Syracuse
Thursday September 29, 9:05 am ET
Linear 24/7 Gay & Lesbian Programming Available October 1

PALM SPRINGS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 29, 2005--Strengthening its presence throughout North America, Q Television Network (Pink Sheets: QBID - News) has announced its launch into two new Time Warner Cable divisions. The gay and lesbian community's premiere 24/7 television network will be available to viewers in Rochester and Syracuse, New York, beginning Saturday October 1, 2005. This announcement marks QTN's continued expansion throughout Time Warner Cable.

For Time Warner Cable customers in Rochester, QTN will be offered as an a la carte channel 454, available 24 hours per day, seven days per week with a complementary video on demand (VOD) option on channel 453 for all QTN subscribers. In Syracuse, Time Warner Cable customers can access QTN as a 24/7 premium offering on channel 380 and as VOD on channel 381.

"We are delighted that Time Warner Cable has chosen to add QTN to its channel lineups in Rochester and Syracuse," said Carol Hinnant, Vice President, Affiliate Sales & Marketing. "And we're confident that gay and lesbian viewers in these areas will benefit greatly as we continue our quest to capture and deliver the voice of the GLBT community through quality live and original programming."

"Recognizing the diversity that exists in this market with its truly unprecedented roster of creative, entertaining and high-energy live programs, Q Television meets the needs of the gay and lesbian community," said Time Warner Rochester Division President Jeff Hirsch. "We look forward to a long and successful relationship."

Added Time Warner Vice President for Public Affairs Jeff Unaitis, "We have been looking for just the right blend of news and entertainment to satisfy our growing contingency of gay and lesbian viewers, who have been actively requesting such a network, and QTN offers an exciting programming package that more than answers that call."

Q Television currently offers its customers five hours of live programming daily, kicking off its morning fare with the new hit show "Brunch," which stars Honey Labrador and Scott Withers. The day ends with QTN's signature series "On Q Live," a fun-filled adventure of news, guests, sports and entertainment. QTN also offers its customers original programs such as "Q on the Move"--the first-ever travel show for the GLBT community--and "Flesh and Threads," a dance show that brings fashion and the gay beat to the dance floor.

About Q Television:

This 24/7 premium television network is organized to create, develop and feature television programming for the gay and lesbian community, including live & interactive content every weeknight, plus sports, information and entertainment. While the company expects much of its subscriber base to be comprised of members of the gay and lesbian population, management also believes that quality programming about the gay and lesbian experience, designed to entertain, educate and inform, will attract many other segments of the viewing public. The company's programming is available on a subscription basis to those desiring to subscribe. The network is telecast 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Providing distribution via satellite ensures availability of the network across the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Q Television Network is the official network of Gay Games® VII. The network is also ad-supported. For further information on programming and subscriptions, please visit www.qtelevision.com.

Can you imagine what the PR's will be like another year from now when the whole gay community becomes aware of QTV? Communicating via message boards and conventions, this will spread like wildfire. This is just the beggining. Once other carriers realize that there IS a market for the GLBT community they will all want QTV.

We need carriers to survive and the more carriers the more subscribtions...the more subsribtions the more revenue which decreases dilution!!!

I love it!!!!!

Rochester and Syracuse!!!We must be very close to stopping dilution and getting these cities will only get us closer!!!

I think its great to see carriers continuing to pick up Q...They must be doing pretty well in maine if more time warner areas are being picked up!!!!

yeah guys, this PR is huge...i do not expect and i hope it does not run because i believe Frank is probably buying back shares down here....people think this stock is going to .0001 so they are scared and getting out...let them get out, allow Frank and us to buy back in massive amounts of shares at lower prices...

Do not let this day discourage you because the mood has been terrible of late....I am just glad the carriers are picking us up...the one thing i seriously was worrying about, was whether we would not get anymore carriers and were slowly going bankrupt and that nobody wanted QTN...i am wrong, the carriers are being signed on, and i say we only need a couple more cities to break even!!

Lets get some stats on Syracuse and Rochester NY...if i am correct, they are pretty big cities
