you are exactly right 3403 that poem sucked big time. this whole situation sucks and there seems to be no end to it and the delay tactics and the lack of information from the company. all of this could have been prevented last month imho. now it is probably too late and the price has to be paid. i never expected it would ever get to this.

I doubt it...I think they just don't want to get in trouble by the SEC for not filing the extension...even though they are on the grey market. It has been rumored that while on the grey market they do not have to meet the same filing requirements that they do on the OTC. I have not heard a definitive answer on this.

On the flip side, it would be great if they expect to be uplisted in the next few days and want to have the extension filed so they would have until next week to file the 10-Q.

The nature of the beast...it's actually easier to get up with them when they are young because your body naturally gets used to it. Now, once they get to be older and sleep through the night most of the time, and THEN they decide to wake up every two hours...THAT is killer. Take extra pity on your wife....

Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
Don't get fooled again
No, no!

Doni,

That’s great to hear. Congrats on the Baptism. I hope she / you received lots of presents and / or money. [Wink]

My little cherub turned 8 months old last week…still not sleeping through the night. The last 2 nights have been really hard because she has contracted the crud from daycare. [Mad] Apparently, she was exposed to both a cold and the flu at the same time…so she has both. Poor thing can’t breath and she is running anywhere from 100-105 temperature since Sunday. We got her on antibiotics yesterday. I’m hoping she feels better by the time I get home.

Take care all…got to go get the little swimmer.

this being the case i may have misunderstood at some point.

if the bonds had the higher value since 2003? should that have been the amount that was PR'ed initially. I seem to remember the first PR on this bond talking about $500m then a later PR correcting/ adding to the now larger sum $753m. Does it seem odd that CSHD wouldn't know the amount they owned of this bond? (just thinking out loud). If the updated PR was for $252.8 million i find that a little odd.

What to you all think????????????????????????????????????????

Good post from HSM:

Most webs sites only have the original issue amount: 500 million. The principal amount was increased to 753 million three years ago.

Here's the story of these bonds according to an SEC filing for the government of Venezuela and I quote:
U.S.$500 million in aggregate principal amount of these notes was issued initially for cash in August 1998. In connection with the BANDES Exchange, 2003 the Republic issued an additional U.S.$252.8 million in aggregate principal amount of these notes, which form a single series with the U.S.$500 of these notes issued in 1998."

To verify this for yourself:
1. go to www.secinfo.com
2. Enter in the search box the Accession Number: 950133-4-398
3. To quickly find page 116, search in your browser for 252.8

You will see this footnote refers to the 13 5/8 bonds of Aug 2018 the bonds in question

Something doesn't smell right with Frank Cristiano's Declaration...

I am going to try and contact a Fund Manager At FMR.

This is exactly what Rufus said happened.

Dont forget the information found in the last 2 links to the humanitarian bond was filed in an 8-k.

Tex...Uncle Rudy,

I post this with all due respect.

I have talked to Tut several times. He is a middle aged gentleman who is extremely intelligent, friendly and informed. He has been CEO of a couple of companies in his lifetime. He is extremely careful about what information he passes on to me and what he keeps to himself. He has NEVER compromised himself by passing any information that could be construed as “insider information”. Believe me…I have formulated my questions in a manner that would have made it very easy for an amateur to stumble or exaggerate in their response.

Through the DD he and his partners perform, he is extremely confident about the outcome of this situation. IMHO he knows way more than you can imagine. He just can't divulge all of his info until it happens or until the company puts out a PR. It is also my opinion that he knows a lot about this stock from the outside looking in. What I mean is...he knows international business and he knows bond trading for the use in which CSHD intends to use them. Perhaps, he knows the likes of which CSHD has contracted with in Europe and / or the Middle East. He knows the potential of this type of business.

There are many people who are “in-the-know” about this company who support Tut 100%. As a matter of fact, Rufus stated on SPR last week that Tut was right about 99% of the time and that we should “listen to him”.

I totally agree with Port…there are times when I wish Tut would not post just for the sake of posting. I get tired of the hype and then the predictions are not being met. This should be proof that he is not an insider. You have to understand how much he wants this to happen for the shareholders…problem comes when the guys over at HSM start egging him on for a post every day at about 3-4 in the afternoon. He feels that he is obligated at this point for fear of shareholders losing faith. We do need every shareholder we can get to hold strong at this point.

Look, you can have your opinion about him, me, or whoever you want on this and the other boards, but please don’t pass / spread judgment until you have met the person you are complaining about. You just might be surprised.

OK, all caught up...I am editing this so I can add more.

I thought the poem was funny... [Smile]

I have told you many times your hand would no longer be held by PR's and other information.

Based on the time the new Regime has been in place and the monumental task they are tasked with I am very impressed. Silence is required.

If you run at a mouth long enough you will slip up.

Silence and caution may upset some investors. Those who are already confident will choose to let the company do what it has to do and get out of the way. It is not like some pennies where you call and call and call and there is no one there. Or send email to no reply or get an auto reply.

MA will be in the country were he is most needed to protect our investment. He has his own investment AND the added risk of the SEC issue. Sarbanes Oxley makes officers of a company personally responsible for corporate actions. Based on that why would anyone walk into a hostile and risky situation like that? Except if they thought they could truly protect their own investment and that of the shareholders.

I expect MA to be cautious, quiet and nearly invisible to us. My investment is a higher priority than knowing anything.

portman your last post makes a lot of sense to me. i also don't see where MA would want to put everything he has in danger. maybe he CAN pull this out of the toilet. i would certainly respect him for acheiving that. but right now it really looks bad for the home team and no one has done anything to inspire confidence. definitely a daunting task with major hurdles to surpass, not for the weak.
