"I can't tell you why" is a joke. Somebody started it and every one had fun with it for whole day. Ppl still use it off and on.
Somebody started like this..
"I can't tell you why, sell all your QBID"

I wish I listened to him/her when QBID was at around .02

Ya know I always heard "open mouth, insert foot!" Instead of a statement that inflamed or upset someone, this should have been a QUESTION. It would have made more sense that way.

BTW NOT reading the thread entirely is not an excuse for bad communication skills.

as for what is said on this thread....the FINAL say belongs to the allstocks moderator.

DEAL WITH IT PEOPLE.

Thank you for your time.

now returning to my old arrogance....

HongKongFuey, if there is one thing that I have leanred it is to never doubt your first instict as it is ussually the correct one... I don't always follow it though... today is the perfect example of that... had a buy in at 0.0112 but bumped it up to 0.012 ... got filled but with less shares... I think you have a shot at that fill... but make your own mind up...good luck I hope you get your order filled!

Mostly pertains to Al Gore, but Rene Schenk got a word in from QTV.

Cable Critics Blast 'Gore TV'

By Andrew Wallenstein
NEW ORLEANS (Hollywood Reporter) - Now that Al Gore has officially made his cable connection, the industry is questioning his grasp of the realities of the cable business.

The former vice president's surprise appearance Tuesday at the National Cable & Telecommunications Assn. (NCTA) convention to announce that he and a group of investors have acquired NewsWorld International news channel from Vivendi Universal was all the buzz among operators and other NCTA attendees.

Still, many at the convention dismissed as quixotic the Gore group's bid to restyle the modestly distributed digital cable/satellite channel as an "independent voice" for the MTV demo.

"This will be the biggest flop liberals have seen since Hillary Clinton's health care plan," remarked a cable executive who wished to remain anonymous.

The less charitable detractors from the convention floor to Bourbon Street barstools have begun savaging the strategy Gore and his team of investors are employing. They deride in particular his proud cultivation of independent status in an industry where the survival of fledgling channels is contingent on how much clout their parent companies can exert to win distribution. And those, of course, are the same media conglomerates that Gore openly criticized in his well-attended news conference Tuesday.

"The trend toward consolidation in this industry needs to be countered with more independent voices," Gore said during Tuesday's press conference on the convention floor.

Many noted an awkward balancing act Gore attempted in his introduction of the channel by thanking the industry for welcoming him with open arms only to bite the hands that could potentially grant him additional carriage by criticizing consolidation.

At a convention littered with dozens of startup channels that ponied up thousands of dollars in typically scarce funds to promote themselves, the unscheduled sight of Gore breezing in and out of the Big Easy bred a mixture of envy and resentment.

"It was annoying to me, to be quite honest," said Rene Schenk, chief financial officer of Q Television Network, a new gay-themed channel. "He blows into town and shows up in every newspaper in the country the next day."

As for the programing, few knew what to make of the broad outline Gore put forth. This would have the targeted young adult viewers produce their own programing about current events in a mix of traditional formats with documentaries that he imagined would take entirely new approaches he deemed "bold and irreverent."

One executive felt that Gore's venture will travel the same lonely road as Pax TV, the low-rated broadcast network devoted to squeaky-clean family fare. Another likened it to PBS for the MTV generation. But another channel that came to mind among those who heard out Gore was probably not what he intended: Fox News Channel. Continued ...

I have Scottrade now and am tired of the commision on pinks, think about the commisions when we get to .05 and higher. I opened up a freetradee account yesterday and am just waiting for my securities to be transfered over. Today is the last day I pay $22 + 1/2%

Quest:
You might try Freetrade, first 20 trades of the month are free, and the next 100 cost $3. Only thing is you have to start the account with $5000. Saves a peck of $ in year if you day/swing trade.

HAVE TO GIVE THE WHOLE QBID THING A CHANCE TO MAKE CHANGES.

i know. i was thinking about that too. esp because i have to call every time. i know when i had my "bail then chase back up to get the same amt of shares for a lot more money" fiasco, i lost about .0010 just being on the phone. it moved up that quick. lemme know who you decide on if you do. thanks.

No phones with freetrade. It is all done elctronically, via computer. I have never talked to a human. Wire Transfer funds, and Q/A via email. As for the quality, I experience some slow trades, but it just might be where my order falls, or that I am impatient, but rarely do I not get filled at a price I enter.

100% over the internet, including pinks, if you want a streamer or L2 it cost money, but if you keep Scottrade, like I am doing, you can just use theirs, L2 is only $20 a month, cheaper than Alphatrade
