AQUA, I'm not an expert on this stuff, but to the best of my knowledge the mm look to lower the price however they can, they buy it up low, then they turn around and sell it higher.

Will you explain exactly what a 'shake' is and why you think they that MMs actually make these 'shakes' happen?

MM's are in the money business NOT the investing business. In fact, they are the only ones that can short a pink stock. They sell shares they "borrow" at a higher price and then manipulat the market to a lower pps and buy to cover their short. This is usually accomplished by "trading" with another mm to make it look like a sell off has begun thus scaring investors to sell to limit losses.
Happens all the time. The best way to beat the mm's is to do solid DD and learn to recognize a real downtrend before you sell. The best way to make money is to do what the mm's do. Follow their lead.

At least Q isn't drilling for diamonds. We all want to make money here or else we wouldn't be. The complaining doesn't change anything. Things will float or sink when the time comes. I think Q has enough momentum to go up soon, short of an act of God delaying things. I would like green today. Big time, but I won't rush it by bitching about it. I ahve to hold or quit and I have decided to hold. I have 7 mil measily shares and I'm holding. This is the high end of my investor risk level.

Aqua I agree, and this is why I don't consider candlestick charting to be worth using, at least with stocks like QBID.
If anyone understands candlestick charting well enough to help me understand it's value, please post a reply. I'm always willing to learn.
But this is how I see candlestick charting for now: It tells us ONLY what happened the previous day and assumes the next day will continue the same trend. It is pure short-term "history" and simply shows what the trading pattern was for that day. As we all know, QBID's trading pattern varies greatly from day to day, and depends largely on news or lack of news.
Since candlestick charting does not factor in other information, such as company fundamentals and sector activity and news releases/PRs, it changes as the wind blows. If the next day's trading pattern does not follow the previous day, candlestick charts simply adjust to the new day's activity and post a revised recommendation. As you have pointed out, a BUY recommendation today may be followed by a SELL recommendation tomorrow simply because the PPS ended down instead of up for the day.
As I said, this is only my opinion of candlesticking. I would like very much to understand it better and hope it really is an accurate long-term indicator for evaluating stocks. But I have been looking for a true and accurate crystal ball for many years, and the closest I have found is a Magic 8-ball, which seems to be correct only when I like its answers.

Bottom, you are exactly right. Candlestick charts only suggest a possible trend. Trend analysis is meant to be used in conjunction with other information (ie. RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, and the like)

So where are all those posters who were praising the letter that was suppose to have come from Frank? Looks more like a pump and dump to me, could be wrong but it sure smells.

Any word from Richard on confirming that letter? I got a response today from him regarding an email I sent a week ago. Nothing worth posting.

Glad you are still here, nope not a word from Richard yet, I called him today and apparently he is in meetings with the Admin at "Q". You can be sure that I will post any news that I get.

You know what pisses me off even more though? That Richard hasn't responded confirming or denying it yet. You think it'd be pretty damn easy to confirm or not, just ask Frank if he met with an investor this week or not and answered his questions.
Tell you what, here's what I think. I think koreanvet scammed us, and Frank gave him good graces to do so, taking advantage of the situation to dilute further. Why else would we "rise" Friday into a day of falling PPS Monday?
I'm going to the SEC immediately barring no response from Richard by the end of the day.

I have to admit that I am not the most seasoned investor but from 1:55 to 2:00est over 90 mill shares traded, all at .0016. That seems strange. Anyone know why something like that may happen?

Doc I agree. Whole thing smells a bit rank right now. But if it was a "fraudulent" document, I think Frank would have reacted to it by issuing a PR by now. But none of us knows for sure right now, so if anyone hears anything from Q, please let us know.
The thing we all have to remember about this situation is that someone's attempt to pump-and-dump the stock doesn't take anything away from QBID as a long-term investment. If you liked QBID before the infamous "I met with Frank" letter, you should still like it now. The only result of that letter was a temporary spike followed by a return to previous levels. Some shareholders might have taken profits on the spike (or dumped on the slide if they got scared), but for the rest of us, it's business as usual: waiting for documented news of QBID's progress. Should be another interesting week. Are we having fun, or what?

Any movement in the PPS, either up or down is fine by me, but interested in why. I have a feeling that Frank might have diluted, but he wouldn't be doing it unless he needed money for something big.
Or maybe instead of dilution we are seeing something else. I just don't see how we can go from a 20-day high to a 20-day low without some dilution.

Yep it will all work itself out, no doubt about that and it's just a matter of time nothing more or nothing less.
Long, strong and holding

justplayin, Doctoall, Maestro, Digdough, madmoney, bottomliner, Thanks for your informative responses, I think I understand now. The key is understanding that MM's really do have an interest in lowering the price at times. Also appreciated your opinions on candlesticking, thank you.
g-invest, Why don't you grow up and stop projecting your bad attitude onto others. There was no fight between you and I and there was no need for your attempt at making harsh comments (as if being called a "daytrader" was an insult). I'm amused that you think your position of "I'm in this stock to make money" is unique to you, as if the rest of us are here in this stock to lose money.

And what exactly do you think the news of an SEC investigation will do to our investment?
Agreed, that will pull us down just the mere speculation will do us over This will work out and when we are all in LV having a cool one, these days will be distant memories.

Pulling the pps down just improves a buying situation. Gosh, has anybody thought that some may want to see it go further down so they can buy?

well...then there must be several week hands holding/letting-go-of qbid. Thus, they continue to bring the price down even on good news. Why are we at .0017 after the big PR we just had awhile ago?
You're right...not for the faint of heart.

Why are we at .0017 after being at .0015 earlier today?
(If you guys haven't noticed, I'm acting all "doom and gloom" to get the pansies out of QBID, hopefully for the last time)
Maybe we should preface all our comments with, "After it hits .0012 next week..." Then talk about the good prices. That way the people that buy this are buying despite the risk, not because they see an easy play.
