Don't get me wrong, I think you have a good idea. I don't want you to get into some "trouble" for using their logo or any trademarked material... but it sounds like you know what you're doing. Good luck!

Then I’ll make some trips to gay clubs in NJ and PA and hand them out. What do you guys think about this? Anyone want to help out? I figure I can get out several thousand cards easy. I'm sure some people I meet will be glad to take 5 or 10 and give them out to people they know.

It depends on the material. I’m not going to make any claims on the business card promotion idea. Just like Christian protesters did not ask Ford how to boycott their products, I do not have to get permission to recommend a service. It will say “I want my QTV”, and have the URL to the request form. Also, I will only distribute the cards after a brief one-on-one interaction; I am looking to encourage a word of mouth trend. I am not going to leave these cards all over the place.

Beyond that, I am not even promoting Q as a business. I am instead promoting a way for the gay community to be heard, and fairly represented. Q is just happens to be the only channel that is owned, and operated by the same people they are trying to reach. I feel very confident that I can inspire many people to spread the word.

Working in the highly regulated pharmaceutical business, I know what would need approval, and what would not. Also, the way I’m doing this project, I am protected under the first amendment.

No problem . . . I am sure you are just kidding and admire Frank as much as I do. And I am sure Frank has been called worse names in his life. Which is another reason I admire him. I am sure he has faced a lot of adversity in his life and has been able to succeed in spite of it. I have enough gay friends to understand how difficult their lives have been due to ignorance and intolerance. Is that why I own QBID shares? Hell no. I am here to make money, but I feel really good knowing that I may be helping diminish some of the bigotry in the world. But I've been on the soap box long enough. Go Q.

You HAVE heard of St Francis of Assisy, right?
Sorry if I offended anyone. Humor was my only motive. Gee, I think I'll go read posts from a year ago. People used to appreciate my humor. I must be getting old...

Kevin
I didn't mean to start a campaign to make Frank a saint . . . but if it helps Q's PPS, I will start sending out the petitions. [Big Grin]

What I am trying to say is that I admire creative people, those who think "out of the box" and see the world in a special way. It doesn't matter if they are gay or not. Creative people usually have to overcome adversity because they are considered "different". And this may be their strength . . . they don't have unconditional acceptance and therefore are willing to try something unique. I realize that Frank is not the only person trying to form a gay network, and he probably was not the first. But he appears to be the one with the most noble reason for his actions. Sorry, I just promised to get off my soap box . . . and I fibbed.

I just think July will be very exciting for Q . . . and hopefully rewarding to us all.

I thought it was a good pun (I understood it) and don't think anyone should be offended by it. Hope I didn't come across that way.

Each month, over 1.08 million people accessed the kiosks, and conduct over 500,000 transactions, to make payments for utility bills and ticket bookings, which resulting collection of US $4,800,000.

Investors should continue to monitor the progress of Enjoy Media for further developments! The press release also states that in 2004, transactions processed through the kiosks amounted to US $58 million. Enjoy Media will sell advertisements carried on the kiosks in Guangzhou, where the booming restaurant sales reached US $3.6 billion in 2004. Enjoy Media will also sell electronic coupons allowing consumers to redeem them within its restaurant network. Enjoy Media and Hotye agreed to a profit sharing arrangement and expect a boost in revenue from this collaboration.

Many thanks to the veteran Q crew for the encouragement. This time I actually laughed out loud. You made my day. Lately I feel my posts are written in invisible ink or something...

Anyway, I don't think that's an official PR, meaning not from a particular news wire. It normally says that at the beginning. I think it's legit, but was personally put out by Q on their site alone.

...and Rich735 reposted the wrong PR. i dont give a chitlin what those wall st alerts say.

the real PR update reads:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - July 6, 2005 -- Q TELEVISION NETWORK (Pink Sheets: QBID), the network for the gay and lesbian community, has announced that Sheilah Pacete has joined the network as Supervising Producer of "Q on the Move," the only television travel show geared to the gay and lesbian community.

"I am excited to join a wonderful new series that expands the travel reality genre onto a whole new level. "Q on the Move" is a refreshing twist for the already saturated travel show market, and I am up for the challenge to create programming for a new era in television," said Sheilah Pacete, Supervising Producer of "Q on the Move."

Pacete will be working closely with "Q on the Move's" host, Nick Oram, to help the show as it continues to become a prominent part of the GLBT community. Her experience in the travel reality genre will also prove to be an advantage to the show as she will help bring a variety of new content to "Q on the Move."

Pacete has extensive experience behind the camera, which will prove to be a quality asset for "Q on the Move." In 2003, along with two business partners, she created an independent production company called Drum Roll Entertainment that worked on development and production of various pilots, demos and domestic/international productions. Pacete has also worked independently on various entertainment projects including foreign productions, studio junkets, news, commercials, private corporations marketing and special events.

"We're very pleased to have Sheilah join our team. Her background and experience will be a great asset to our signature show, "Q on the Move," said Frank Olsen, President and CEO of Q Television Network.

Prior to her independent productions, she was a lead show producer for E! Entertainment's highly rated travel series "Wild On," producing shows in foreign countries such as Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Venezuela, Belize, the Republic of the Philippines, New Zealand, Australia and Italy. Pacete's extensive global contacts in the travel reality genre also include various foreign talent, tourism boards, adventure companies, domestic and international airlines, to name a few.

About Q Television: This 24/7 premium television network is organized to create, develop and feature television programming for the gay and lesbian community, including live & interactive content every weeknight, plus sports, information and entertainment. The company's programming is available on a subscription basis to those desiring to subscribe. The network is telecast 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Providing distribution via satellite ensures availability of the network across the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. I like how this was released on their website. It isn't breaking news that needs to be released through the press but it does provide us with information that Q is still hiring talent.

It keeps certain factions from claiming fluff. It also gives investors interesting news. BTW, you can sign up and get news in your e-mail.
