I eventually concluded that these young caballeros had not ever had the pleasure of seeing any good ol’ Cowboy flicks. Eventually, I persuaded the boys to look for greener pastures on the SAME side of the fence.
Moral of this story: Put a cork in it and see if it sinks or swims.

Great explanation Rod! Yes this is huge,I hope the pps reflect this news. May have to wait for people to actually see Q on POD before we see a rise. I am happy Q will reach out to more than 10 million homes. Imagine the potential. There are so many people who don't know Q, who will see it and call to order QTV!!! Come on carriers!!!

My thing is that this stock has to shoot up. If they get comcast,direct and Dish network with already 22,000 subcribers on RCN, they will be a active network. I just cannot imagine this stock being at this current level if they have those carriers.

i know it has been said for a week or two now that Q is ready to run on charts alone, and for the people that say that you cant chart pinks is only half right.
the best indicator for Q has always been the RSI and take a look at it. look at a 1 year chart. (thats right, take a look). there have been 6 real times when the rsi dropped/hit the 30 line. now look at what happened 5 of the 6 times..--a runup everytime...its like clockwork!
now, add into that, that everytime that stock ran those 5 times it had broken the lower bolli band!!!
macd is flatlining to much to be of use to me
SAR is a day or two from turning to a buy after a month or two of sell/hold!!!

It probably will not be in the larger cities on the list or it would be way over 10 million homes.
I would also guess that it would only be on POD where they are anticipating carriers. So the cities the POD stuff airs on should give us a clue as to the carriers. Which carriers those cities have in common will give us something to chew on.

A little insight on yesterday's PR, when I first read it, I myself who is a long time long had mixed feelings. POD at first glance is not all that exciting, but you have to think at it from outside of the box.
If any of you have any marketing or business experience you will understand where I am going with this rant. The most important piece to the puzzle for "any" product is visibility and marketing. Anyone can have a great product but if it is not visible it will fail. What Frank has done is provided Q with more visibility by getting on POD; sure not everyone is going to get up at 4am to watch Q on POD. But if one person does and likes Q (which we all know they will, Frank/Q has already demonstrated the quality of their programming.) and that person tells 1 person, who then tunes into POD, then they tell someone etc etc. Word of mouth will take Q everywhere, especially with the Gay/Les community. An example; take a website that sells product WidgetA, they will try to get their website posted, linked, spidered by everyone and anyone, why, because every surfer that hits their website is a potential sale. They will link or pay to be on similar websites even if that one link only brings in 10 surfers a day, that's 10 more potential sales. If you have 100 sites sending you 10 hits a day, you know have 1000 surfers looking to buy WidgetA. It all adds up in the end and to the bottom line.
A classic example is the spam industry, look at all the spam we all get in our inbox’s on a daily basis, spamming is a very costly expense, but do you think they don’t profit from it, hell yes they do, it’s incredible in this day and age how many ppl still click spam in their email.
Moral of story; Frank is just adding another avenue to get the word (branding) out about Q and another opportunity for some1 to sign up(even if it is only on RCN right now).
The pressure is mounting on the carriers to carry Q if they have not already signed.

I like your outlook Farley. Considering it is a 2 hour blurb on POD, it broadens the time frame in which it can catch someone’s eye. Also to take into account the GLBT sector is very business oriented, I am sure there is some early risers. I know I have asked this before but if someone is able to tape a piece of the blurb and put it up on a web site, that would be great.
