Not sure what to make of the wierd L2's.
I filled some more at .0017 earlier, but haven't filled by other .0017 order for the last 90 minutes.
Could the MM's be closing their positions in case of a run tomorrow??
Not trying to pump, just asking if that is plausable to anyone else.

For all these new folks on the board today(just cause the volume is high) stick around, if we can all come together we can make this thing pop. Be around when the volume isn't so high. We can all get this money.

815,245,828 volume...biggest day I have seen in awhile. Someone who has time check out what happened when he had this high of a volume before.

Wait now it is 820,163,978..this thing is nuts today. I'd almost have to think CAPTN knows something.

It is interesting how I placed a trade for a friend at 18, the ask is 18 and I see trades at 18 and 17 but no fill even when others fill at 17

Palm Springs should rally behind mayor's television efforts

The Desert Sun
July 18, 2005

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Palm Springs-based Q Television Network is a nationally syndicated network, run by and programmed for an audience that identifies itself as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered - and straight. This network would not only be a natural fit for Palm Springs, given the high population of gays and lesbians living within the city; it could also serve as a powerful job-creation catalyst.
If Q Television makes its way on to Time Warner Cable, the network is going to build a production studio in Palm Springs, according to Oden. From here, some very big things could happen for the city and the valley, i.e., establishing Palm Springs as a Hollywood satellite that turns media production into a source for year-round, high-paying jobs.

This valuable entertainment-industry amenity would diversify the city's economic landscape, creating a valuable revenue-generating resource for the city.

It's not a stretch - it would complement the valley's already established reputation as a hot spot for photo and movie shoots. More than 800 shooting days - including movies, TV shows, commercials and still photography - netted the valley $28 million in revenues in 2004, according to the Inland Empire Film Commission.

Look what the Palm Springs International Film Festival has already done for the valley. Nicole Kidman, Samuel L. Jackson and other superstar celebs lit up the town in January in the biggest, brightest star-studded production yet. Check out Darrell Smith's weekly celebrity sighting column. Ho hum, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Barbra Streisand and James Brolin are in town again.

Just think how the economy and the tourism industry could prosper once a production studio was up and running. You think you see a lot of Hollywood heavy-hitters now, just wait until there is a permanent, onsite production facility in the desert.

Let's rally valleywide support and help transform Oden's efforts into a blockbuster Hollywood ending.

It is not always true though and I am not saying what they were one way or the other, just an observation...Killer volume either way!!

I find this line in the article very intriguing: "If Q Television makes its way on to Time Warner Cable, the network is going to build a production studio in Palm Springs, according to Oden." I hate to speculate, but does anyone think this "big news" we keep hearing about could be about this. Obviously the writer was working on this story last week, and he may have leaked something he found out about this. I just don't understand why if it makes it on Times Warner it is a big deal for Palm Springs, but not if it makes it on Dish, DirectTV, Comcast, Cox, etc... Can anyone explain that to me?

A/S = 50 billion
O/S is rumored to be anywhere from 7 billion to 22 billion.
Float is rumored to be anywhere from 2.1 billion to 10 billion.

Personally I think there are around 16 billion outstanding shares with a 7.8 billion float. But I have no evidence for this except for comparisions made on ADV. Because Average Daily Volume was so low recently, the rumor/belief has been that a partial buyback was going on up until maybe a week ago. Now, there's an odd rumor of an announcement regarding the audit, potentially large investing firms, and outstanding shares. Meanwhile, there are still rumors of carrier announcements being just weeks away.

It's an exciting time for the Q, but I don't know what exactly is going on. Volatility is certainly increasing though, and someone made some enormous buys at .0017 while no one here on the forums was able to get them.

I have a buddy who actually does MM playing during the day and I'll ask him what he knows, look for an update later tonight.

As someone else stated, the HQ for Time-Warner's regional affliate is there. The area is know to be a celebrity hotspot when not in Hollywood, and would be a lucrative item for Time-Warner to get on early.

I seriously hope this isn't the news that's causing all this MM ruckus.

What a great article! How many times does the local mayor urge support of a company with a sub-penny PPS?

(With most pennies, you're lucky just to find the company's street address. LOL)

I need more shares!

I'm still very happy with my investment. I'm sorry to hear that you do not feel the same way. Might as well sell your shares and quit your b*tching. That is, unless, you even own shares. [Roll Eyes]
