polo Yep. Loved that movie. And Johnny is one of my favorite players, as far as watching him. You may actually win the first time you play with him, because Holdem favors the unknown player. If you don't react the way a pro expects, he might fold a winning hand. That's what happened in the Rounders movie.
By the way, when I go to Vegas, I always ask the dealers which players they like and dislike. Strangely enough, some of the players who seem the "nicest" on TV aren't liked by dealers . . . and vice versa. A couple of dealers told me Johnny is not well liked because he doesn't forgive errors by dealers. That doesn't make him a bad guy, but most dealers I talked to don't like dealing his table. Everyone seemed to like Doyle Brunson because he really is as nice as he acts on TV. I was hoping to see Doyle at the Rio but he wasn't there when I was.

noah There must be some connection between people who like playing Poker and people who like sub-penny stocks. It might be the risk-reward concept. Poker players usually are analytic risk-takers. If the "pot odds" are right, they will play the hand.
I see QBID in that way. All pinks are risky, but I believe QBID offers the right pot odds, at least at current prices. If I can risk a few dollars (or hundreds or thousands) and get a reasonable return for my risk, I will do it.
I also like betting on long-shots at the track, but that is another story.

It means that after all the press releases and buybacks and great big parades that they covered, Frankie failed to get the PPS up. People are wary now. Not as excited to jump in with their last few dollars.

Whether you're right or wrong, what does this have to do with after-hours trades? These 'wary people' you speak of aren't allowed to trade after hours.

I fail to understand your logic. How would "Frankie's" failure to get the PPS up, be a failure, if "Frankie" were in the middle of buying back his own stock? Why would he release a bombshell PR in the middle of his own buyback?

Which leaves me back at my original question. Why no after-hours trades today? Seems like a great price to buyback. Could we possibly be done? But there has been so small volume after-hours since the 3% buyback pr.
I remember last week someone commented that the 3% buyback pr meant that they were commited to buying back 3% at whatever price it may be at. But if that were so why would, for example, Penny Trader speculate that Q might release a huge pr at their star studded party... right in the middle of the buyback.
It just seems to me that we need to know the status of the last buyback and the current 3%buyback until we can really know what's going on.

I'm becoming disillusioned with the Pinks.
Granted, I'm still holding QBID, and I do have high hopes for PLNI, but the guys running BOTH these companies need to get ousted for being idiots. Frank's letting insiders (and he himself) trade the stock like crazy. Either that, or he's diluting. Think about it, who is daytrading this this stock DOWNWARD? Why would MMs be risking it by taking the price down?
We just had a PR that indicated our subscribers have *DOUBLED*. If that was true, why's the price going down? He's probably not lying, but people are shorting and trying to accumulate. He needs to offer a 2 for 1 stock split.
Nothing against QBID, but this stock would be a LOT better without Frank.

Doc He must be under some pressure today. He's usually a pretty calm guy. I sometimes feel the same way when the price doesn't react the way I want . . . but I just kick a wall instead of posting. By the way, both feet are in casts right now.

I know that its not your fault, just that it’s getting old with the promises and the PPS ever dropping. I see that some guy posted a conversation that he apparently had with you yesterday or the day before, it looks like no POD deal and no carrier news. I never get mad at you I just vent and let you know what I am seeing out here in investor land.

I told Richard that we are bleeding and that we at least deserve an IR on what Q is doing,I also mentioned that this was my 4th email of which none have been responded to. How do you get a response? I am very mad that this thing is like a grounded barge! I will still hold because I know we have a product, but also know we need more help(carriers)getting it to our customers! Come on Q!!!

Doc To an optimist like me, Richard's answer means that good things are in the works and will be revealed soon. To a pessimist, it means don't believe what Doctoall just posted.

To get an answer one has to keep sending e-mails, I send 2-3 a week and sometimes it takes time to get an answer but I do get one. They say that they do not follow the boards, but I know that they do. Last week I sent him a copy of a post that I thought was very interesting, he replied that he had already seen it and was researching the content. I say that when we get frustrated we should send e-mails to IR and maybe we will get answers
