Q TELEVISION TOP-LEVEL SPONSOR FOR PRIDE ~ network supports Atlanta with flying colors ATLANTA, (June 3, 2005)
Posted by: skunksyard In reply to: None Date:6/5/2005 1:23:35 PM Post #of 120397
Q TELEVISION TOP-LEVEL SPONSOR FOR PRIDE ~ network supports Atlanta with flying colors ATLANTA, (June 3, 2005) -- The Atlanta Pride Committee (APC) has announced Q Television Network as the top level "Rainbow" sponsor for the 2005 Atlanta Pride Festival, June 24-26. Rainbow level sponsors are those who contribute $50,000 and above.
"They will begin their broadcast in the Atlanta market sometime in June," says Donna Narducci, APC executive director. "So being at Atlanta Pride made good business sense, in addition to the fact that it's the largest Pride event in the South East."
Atlanta is one of only five cities selected by the Q Television Network to receive sponsorship dollars. Those other five cities include Boston, New York City, Chicago, Houston and San Francisco.
Boston, New York City and San Francisco are the only cities receiving Q Television at this time, although negotiations to carry the network are underway in Atlanta. Once approved, subscriptions will allow customers to receive the channel via either satellite or cable.
Q Television will make its first visit to Atlanta on June 7-10 to film its show "On Q Live" from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Joe's on Juniper. The 2 ½-hour live talk show airs every day and covers various topics of interest to the LBGT community.
Atlanta Pride Festival attendees can visit the Q Television booth in the market at Piedmont Park and will also be able to see its float in the parade as well as commercials on the video screen of the Coca Cola stage. The second entertainment stage at the festival has been named the Q Television stage and the network will have exclusive broadcasting rights for the festival.
"How amazing that for our 35th Anniversary Pride celebration we have Q Television Network as the top level sponsor of our event," says Narducci. "Thirty-five years ago, the police were raiding gay bars and arresting people for associating with each other as homosexuals, now we have our own television station dedicated to the LGBT community. Wow! That's progress!"
Atlanta Pride Committee The Atlanta Pride Committee produces the annual festival and parade at Piedmont Park, attracting as many as 300, 000 participants from the greater Atlanta area and neighboring states. Held this year on June 24-26, the celebration commemorates the Stonewall riots in New York City that launched the modern GLBT rights movement. The Atlanta Pride festival it is the largest of its kind in the Southeast and one of the largest in the country. More information can be found at .
2005 Sponsors This year's sponsors include: Coca Cola, Delta Air Lines, BellSouth, Labrys Atlanta Magazine, Instinct Magazine, Southern Voice / David Magazine, Hewlett Packard, Atlanta Gay Pages, Sheraton Midtown Atlanta Hotel, Einstein's Restaurant, Esurance, and Smirnoff Twist, Bud Light, Q Television Network.

Commercial for QTN. I am watching ER on TNT, and they just showed about a 30 second commercial for QTN. It looked great. It showed Chrisanne, Jack E Jett, what is his first name Cummings. Said to subscribe now on RCN

fire, I also saw it on the Lifetime network last night. So it leads me to believe that whatever channels RCN promotes their shows Q will be shown. That is most of the channels. It will probably air for at least a month if not more.

Q ON OXYGEN!!!!1:30 SF West Coast time and the Q infomercial is on Oxygen.
Posted by: zandant In reply to: None Date:5/11/2005 5:15:22 AM Post #of 13830
An excellent compilation of what is on the Q Television Network. The infomercial ran from 1:3- to 2:00 west coast time on Oxygen and urged viewers to call 1-877-ITS-4QTV. It was great to finally see Jack E. Jett (this guy has star quality and the Q should focus a lot on the Jett), Nick Oram (I'm not gay but this guy is one good looking, buff guy), Scott Withers, Crisanne, Cassean, Toria Tolley and the rest of the Q group on the screen. The infomercial is composed of snippets from the Q shows, focusing on On Q Live (Jack E. Jett), Q on the Move (Nick Oram), Infoqus (Scott Withers), Women on Women (Torie Tolley and some women with spiked platinum hair, both who seem excellent, and a sampling of the movies, broadway musicals, concerts, and some of the series (Concrete Jungle, the Agenda)shown on the Q. It also focused on some of the hosts, including all of the personalities from On Q Live (Jett, Withers, Crisanne, Cassean, Jackie...), Nick Oram, Torie and the other hostesses of WOW, Honey, Cary Harrison, and two women who I was not familiar with, a Chelsie and an African-American women who skunks has mentioned but whose name I missed. It also showed many of the places the Q goes to -Sundance, Palm Springs, Washington, etc. and showed quick clips of celebrities including Jenny McCarthy, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Ted Danson (holding a Q microphone), Donny Walberg, and Boy George. The infomercial ended with Nick telling viewers that "This Revolution Will Be Televised!"
Overall, a great job by the Q - and another "proomise" fulfilled. Hopefully, more than one person saw it, but apparently it will be repeated in the infomercial fashion. LOL

Q will be HUGE.... Wake up all...
Interview with Frank at MarketWatch :
15 000 suscribers and growing daily... 1.5 millions request in a month... Worldwide soon...AUTRALIA in JULY... Work with TIME WARNER and others... He say many carriers soon... Morning show soon : Gay Day... Gay court ready... Reality show... Fund until 2008 for break even...
I would like to address all of the owners of QBID. First, things are going very well and although there are many items I cannot discuss because of confidentiality agreements, we are confident that we will make each and every one of you proud to be a shareholder. We are well beyond our estimated target with both discussions that our team is having with carriers and our internal restructure to have QTelevision fully reporting. Our network is a first of its kind and it's very important to have all its components in place to achieve complete success. The approach we've taken in being a 24X7 network will represent the GLBT community best. Our business plan has begun!!!!!

according to our calculations and a very extensive spread sheet put together by Buckwheat. we have fine tuned our calculations of the buyback numbers and it is in our opinion that they buyback has acquired. 1.8 billion shares as of this evenings aftermarket buys.
Of course there are those that feel that this is dilution.
all i can say to that is, if this was dilutions this price would not have maintained itself where it is for a month with no real news.
if they diluted the number of shares that we have seen bought back in the last month, we would be at .0001- .0004 by now.

you do not come here and pose a mature intelligent argument, but rather act like a child.
You want to have an intelligent conversation then lets do that. you want to be childish, go elsewhere.
ya we have freedom of speech but why use it to prove your ignorance and lack of intelligence.

Well....it pisses me off how these companies can get away with the crap they do. Even though they are pinks shouldn't give them the right to take investors money and piss it away. I've been burned on stocks like CMKX, TFCY, GFYF, etc. There should be stricter rules put on them by the government! I agree Q looks irristable at it's price. But something isn't right for a company to have so many fluff PR's, entising investors, but no solid backers to take them on. I agree it takes time to build a company, but by now......something should be happening. Like I said, LOGO is launching on Charter. That says a lot to me as investor. If everyone was high on this stock, I would run. Instead, I am holding a very nice position with confidence. I certainly do not buy into the buck a share talk, but then again .07 makes me a million dollars.
I think that is extremely possible in 12 months (or less).
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

By: oldone23 at Raging Bull 08 Jun 2005, 09:47 PM EDT Msg. 109096 of 109097 Jump to msg. # Hi everyone. My wife & I just got in from the trip to Atlanta. Where we visited the bar, "Joe's On Juniper." As most of you have already read what Idontknow has wrote already, I will not bore you with the same details. We had a very enjoyable time with idontknow and his wife. Although my wife and I are twice their age, [and then some]it was a very good visit. When we first walked up the steps, to try and make contact with idontknow, I guess an older MAN & WOMAN coming into a gathering with a whole different world, kind of stood out. The next thing that I knew, A man grabbed my hand and said, Hi, I am Frank Olsen. I told him our names. And mentioned that I had talked with him before on the phone, and that we had been with QBID for about four years. There were a few tables right next to where they were shooting the show. Looked like they may have been saving them for some VIP'S. Mr. Olsen said here is a table, sit right here and enjoy the show. So we did. And then I called idontknow, to see where they were. He said we are up at the bar. I said come on down and join us at our table. He said we can't. He said we tried to set where you are, and we were told we could not set there. I told him and his wife, to come on down. That Mr. Olsen said for us to set there. They came to join us and not another word was said about where were setting. We were maybe 15 feet from where everything was happening. Folks this was a very impressive time for me. This was a lot larger thing that I had thought. The amount of equipment, and the cost of it was more than I could even think. As idontknow mentioned earlier, and according to a lady I talked with there, all of the equipment and operators were local, and the equipment was rented. All of the production people were QTelevision people. Just to give you and idea of the screen across the street. It must have been close to 40 feet square. And yes we were asked to fill out a request card. And we were given a couple of QTelevision caps. Sometime while the shop was going on, Mr. Olsen came up behind me and asked if every thing was OK. He asked if everyone was treating us good. He made the statement, "we have come a long way." I told him yes and thanked him. I was very impressed with MR. Olsen. He came acroos to me as a very caring person. I think he is concerned with how this is all coming down. I watched his face as the were shooting the show. He had a very intense look. He was following every movement, and every word. This was a very small area, maybe thirty feet square. It is impossible to remember everything that was happening. They had a black man on the show for a few minutes. He was talking about a black pride parade coming up shortly in Atlanta. This man said there is an unbelievable number of black homosexuals in Atlanta. I know thatI have not covered everyhting in this short note. My wife and I left before the show was over. As we left, I walked over and shook Mr. Olsen's hand. He said thanks for coming. I did not talk to him other than this. He was very busy watching what was going on. And I do not think he would have been able to tell anyhting of value. He has got in trouble before from talking too much. I do not know what the future holds for the shareholders. But some one is spending hundreds of thousands of dollars. This four day deal in Atlanta would cost a fortune in my wayt of thinking. I am very encouraged. Something has to happen soon. I just do not know what. I also have several pictures. But I do not have a clue as to how to post them on Raging Bull. I can E-mail them to someone, who can post them on Raging Bull.

See.. that's what get's me. Everyone telling stories about how impressive Q looks to them. This to me is again, fluff. Investor money can buy lots of advertising and equipment, etc. What we need are some carriers. The other "stuff" is not going to cut it. The reason the price is staying level is because of investors that are looking for a "million dollar lottery ticket". Buying in only because the share price is micro low. Most people can squander a couple hundred bucks on a dream for couple hundred thousand shares of Q.

you have them wrote off already in your mind. that is why you are losing money on these companies. you feel it is not going to work out yet you leave your money in here?
you don't like the way that the companies can manipulate on the pinks then you should sell all your pinks and get into the blue chip market.
you need to follow company's like Research in Motion, and Enbridge, and Telus, these are companies that are fully reporting on a different exchange where you can see financial.
You obviously have not the patience or the ability to play the risks and accept the loses when you are wrong. this is a pink sheet stock, and you can not get ticked off at a company for playing within the rules that they are restricted to in the pinks which are basically no restrictions.
if you can not see the progress that this company has made in the last 6 months then im sorry to put it so bluntly, but you are completely blind.
last year we dug all week sometimes to find even a mention of QBID in any form. now we are inundated with information about Q.
Why do you think that Frank is not overly concerned about not having carriers right now?
because he knows how this is going to unfold and he knows that the negotiations will end one day with some very lucrative contracts for carriage.
the fact that Directv operators now are saying that they will be carrying Q is a big step as they had no idea who they where just months ago.
They announced a buyback, stated that they where going to begin immediately with an aggressive buyback, and we have seen every day since then, except for a couple days, the after hours buyback of thier shares, falling with in the buyback regulations. They are not spending this money because they feel the price is about to drop. No they are banking on the fact that they are going to see a return on thier investment.
company buybacks are there to show confidence to the investors that the company is in good shape.
Dilution is when they are not doing well. and Dilution causes the price to fall.
our price has shown very very very strong support at this level as it has held this price now for over a month.
we stated at the beginning of the buyback that the price would stick in this range till they where done. we still see activity supporting the buyback, and until that is finished we will hold this ground.

do you not read i told you why i feel they are not diluting.
the price would have dropped throw support long ago if that may sales where thrown into the stock.
you have seen what a couple hundred million shares dumped on a fluff will do.
what do you think 1.8 billion shares in this short of a time would have done to the price.
and if they are diluting who would be buying after hours when all this action is taking place?
please fill us in with an intelligent explanation as to how this works. You are so convinced of this you must have an answer to how this is happening then.
