Im not saying that 30,000 are signing up for cable service. im saying that a box is not needed for basic cable but to get the channel you would have to upgrade your cable service to get the box to get the channel.

The customer base is up to 32,000 who pay the monthly fee. So far they have another 30,000 who is in the process of hooking up to the Q.
here's something to think about. whats the chances that the 30,000 in the process of hooking up, are waiting for the cable boxes. what are the chances that they would have 30,000 boxes sitting around. lets face it. this is a pay channel. those customers that have the boxes, only have to call and have it turned on.
What about the basic subs that all of a sudden want the Q and don't have the cable box.
this could well be the case. lets say the 30,000 waiting are split evenly among our 3 cities airing the Q. that is still 10,000 boxes per city. how many would they keep in stock. I'm guessing several hundred maybe??
30,000 boxes would be one hell of a storage area, and one hell of a large inventory to be sitting on.
who knows maybe that is why RCN has not opened the other markets yet. they have just come out of bankruptcy. may be a cost factor for them.
Rod
I doubt 30,000 are signing up for cable service just to get Q

Rich735 That's good news . . . because now I can reveal what I remember as QBIB's previous low (at least over the last year or so). It was either 494 or 496. (I feel like Deep Throat, revealing information after all this time.)
When everyone was squabbling over QBID's lowest-ever Risk rating, I kept quiet because I couldn't prove my numbers either. And I felt it was a non-issue. Didn't really matter since QBID was moving in the right direction and Risk Metrics were getting better, even if they weren't setting new lows.
Now that we have a TRUE NEW LOW, we can use this new number as our standard and watch it drop from here. Go Q.

As far as I know Hutch, you do have to pay taxes. I am currently, negotiating shall we say, with the IRS. They are cool about it though. You may want to e-mail them and find our for sure. By the way where you at? I spent my time at lovely Victory Base just outside of Baghdad.

Just got a card from Charter. LOGO is replacing VH1 Mega Hits on their line up end of JUNE. They sure did make it happen fast and QBID? Looks like they are being left in the dust.

I am not there yet but I will be going for about 6 months next summer. I am currently stationed in Southern Flordia and am moving to Hurlburt Fileld next month. I am a combat controller if you pick up the last weeks edition of the Air Force Times there is a artical in there about 3 guys that died from the unit I am going to. There are only about 340 of us in the Air Force. We go out with the SEALS and Special Forces teams and call all there Air Strikes in. I am a field Air Traffic Controller.

Yes - I own some of the stock. I don't have a scanner so can't post my Charter card. I was shocked though to get it . Live in a small conservative town and it is on our lineup coming end of JUNE. Blows me away. Frank has had 5 years!
Rose-colored glasses are sure going for cheap these days! - at least on this board!
Don't believe these numbers? Well, just go to Big Charts and check it out! These are simple facts! No BS!
This one hasn't done crap since at least early 2000. IMHO, five years is plenty of time (nay, more than enough time!) to bring a company to fruition. Frank just doesn't have it, and neither do we poor suckers.

Jack,,Logo is very good thing for Q. You being in a small community is also very interesting that logo will broadcast in that demographic. This gives more publicity. More small communities will know of this type of broadcasting. I see this as a positive.
jack Do you have a digital camera? You don't need a scanner.

Jackpot, even you have to admit this is a decent daytrading flipper. You can put in a buy order for .0018 and sell the next day for .0021.
For example, I'm going to break tradition and predict we see gains to .0021 tomorrow with more buying in on a daytrading run to end at .0025 this or next week.
Of course, that's assuming there's no huge carrier or audit or etc. news.
