As a CEO in this SEC pickle, and felt all was going to be well there would be daily press releases to calm the shareholders during the interim. Or as a new CEO hoping to bail out a company in trouble, I would have press releases describing the problems and how I planned to overcome them.

Honestly I think everyone is right. the BOD could have placed a gag order over him if they wanted. Or simply requested it. They definitely resolved the right to take his shares away if Mike wants to.
Rufus has shown that he is smart, he will talk when he can, and not a second before. He definitly does not have anything to feel guilty about, except that he forgot to put any stop gaps in place to try and prevent Mike from performing a proxy battle for control. ( i am still not sold on the Rufus thought it was best for the company and took a sword for the team theory.)
By the way Mvestor thanks for straighening out the wording on the OS for me. I did not read it the same was as you. It does make a great deal of sense from your version. I really could not phathom how 159M shares were out there getting mad at Rufus, and he with his 7M was not aware of it. In your version it could have been the rest of the board, Mike and few others to gain the strength needed for the ouster. thanks again.

I would like to thank everybody for their thoughts and prayers during my family's time of grief. There a lot of good people on this board.
I have been able to skim over the board today. There has been alot of speculation on what will happen. We will know a lot more on Nov. 7. I don't see this trading until all the chinks are removed from the armor which will take time.
Once again thank you for your thoughts and prayers. GLTA

Ecowood is the company (for-profit)that is a subsidiary of Fundamazon (non-profit Rainforest Preservation Foundation) and owns the license to extract the logs. Enviro Recovery was contracted to do the work with the license being leased to them from Ecowood and they could not fulfill their end of the contract so it was cancelled. The hope is that with the assets made available through CSHD the project will get up and running and start generating the enormous profits it is capable of.

I pass a stock tip to five people who pass it to five people each who do the same, and in no time my stock pick information explodes across the country. I guess this is MLM

That might be what got Rufus into trouble to begin with IMO... -talking about "plans."
In business, PR what's done IMO, cause problems come up in everything and you'll find yourself back peddling, you always have to "tweak" things as you go... --as a friend once told me....

Talked to the Marriot today... apparently no bar or restaurant actually in the hotel.
Word is there is a popular bar/restaurant that is about a block and a half from the hotel that anyone showing up might like to meet at for some DD at 9PM ...

Why is Rufus so quiet? We all know he loves to talk....He talked when he shouldn't have...now that it doesn't matter why is he sooo quiet? It's very weird to me...(I miss his one liners hence my siggy)...so why so quiet? Cause of the TRO? didn't stop him before...any thoughts?
I'm sure he was told to zip it for awhile or he would not get any of his 7.5 million shares. Remember that part of the PR yesterday about how Mike A. has the right to pull back Rufus' shares?

So, if anyone is still doubting the existence of the bonds...you had better think again IMHO.
Without the bonds as assets there is nothing to save. Someone knows those bonds are certainly real.
In reality Portman I truely believe they own the bonds. but I did a bit of research on Venez bonds the other day and ran into a web page from the US state department which stated that a while back only 15% of Venezeulan Bonds got funded by the government and that number is now up to about 55% but they were putting a stiff warning out there.
This is the link but for some reason it is not comming up for me now.
So don't mind me if I still have reservations about the bonds I have not found a comparison of signatures yet and probably won't, I don't have view into Euroclear and most definitely won't, and I have some evidence from our government saying all bonds from the country could be bogus. (I don't fully believe the propaganda.)
In any case this link did not work for me today, it could be my proxy server. I will have to try it again later.

I was over on the SEC site seeing if there was any new info and ran across this unrelated litigation. But if you get a chance read how this guy was doing "wash trades". Kind of the same activity we saw going back and forth on CSHD for weeks over the last month.
