i should clarify - not all my shares are set with a GTC. the ones that are are the first set i would sell off... and for the half mil i would get id be ok at 40 [Wink]

the rest i wasnt comfortable setting a GTC at any price, in case a fat finger messes with the tape or something.

At Scottrade they woun't let us GTC too high above the ask... I'm afraid if I went to the allowable amount of say $5.00 (I forgot what it real is) that "they" might grab it!!!
Exactly... highest ST will let GTC order is for $3.50
.

When it hits... they'll take it... maybe even beforehand... be careful.

I stopped my GTC orders yesterday due to this concern.

can anyone point me to an est. holdings company that could be comparable to this one?

not the situation per se...just the end game...a holdings company with billions upon billions in assets that is trading on a public exchange?
