This question gets asked A LOT! The bottom line is, how are you able to sell any stock at any price? Because the value of the company supports it. If the 10k shows that the companys value supports the higher PPS then investors will pay that price. This is really no different than any other stock, erase the history and place your attention on the "first" open after the merger.
If the 10k does not support the book value and PPS then it will drop.

In actuality there is no guarantee it will stay at the level of the reset. But according to DD that has been done on this thread, All he needs is one market makers that agrees to the reset but also agrees to support it. How long they support it is anyone's guess.
Now, Rufus has stated that he has lined up institutional investors to support the stock after the reset. Whether that will actually happen is anyone's guess.

I think until the pps is above $5 we will see no institutional buying, and this will still be considered a micro-penny. I have watched OB stock boards go absolutely nuts following a day of $5+ trading. It is like a light bulb is turned on and the restrictions of the institutions are lifted and the price usually does not slow down till $9.

The only thing i can imagine becoming a problem is that AMTD could get so much bad press over this that it could seriously hurt them. With that in mind they may fight like a badger backed into a corner. But, then again, if they cant prove Rufus wrong then there wouldnt be much fight in them i suppose.
Im actually very anxious to see how this pans out. The merger completion would be great but at least this should be good entertainment, kind of like an "opener" for the big show.

To be honest, that was the PR that I expected...just stating the fact and not much else. I think the first PR set a tone though, so this ho-hum PR maybe has a bit more bite to it that it would have on it's own. Let's face it, the 10k is really the only thing that's gonna make this thing move once and for all. Just my opinion...
