CSHD = CWUT (Can't wait until tomorrow). Oops, it is tomorrow. Hope I can get 5 hours sleep. I'm dying for the opening bell and CNBC in the morning. Let's all get some rest. We can all call TDA in the morning at the same time and drive them crazy with stupid CSHD questions.

16:20 ET Dow +45.23 at 11543.32, Nasdaq +11.85 at 2227.67, S&P +4.96 at 1318.07:
[BRIEFING.COM] For a fourth straight day, investors continued to see the value of owning equities as more confidence in corporate profitability helped offset a rebound in oil prices.
Before the market opened, Lehman Brothers Holdings (LEH 70.10 +2.08) became the latest brokerage firm to beat analysts' expectations, as surprising equity trading gains in a seasonally weak third quarter and management saying Lehman's pipeline of new deals remains at record levels overshadowed a slowdown in investment banking activity. That news, in addition to another decline in borrowing costs, provided some notable support for the S&P 500's most influential sector -- Financials, which we recently upgraded to Overweight from Market Weight. The 10-year yield closed at 4.76% as the absence of any economic data to potentially disrupt the ongoing belief that the Fed will remain on hold when it meets again one week from today kept bond traders in buying mode.

said that the company would be issuing a response in the morning.
that "their actions were in the best interests of their clients".
blahblah nice guy, said theyre as frustrated as us, since they are unaware of what the ^&%^#$& is going on.
me, i shall start early. too late to change brokers, TDAm going down i dont see as an option. shake up - yeah, i see that.

babe I know you have TDA apex as do I. I remember calling when the name change was going through and the agent checked my shares and they were mine. No restrictions or anything funny against the shares themselves. Hopefully we can keep everyone informed about the TDA situation

Quesiton is this? If Rufus is confident that everything is going to go well and the reset will happen, why would he put himself in legal trouble and attack TDAmeritrade unless he had the evidence of his accusations right in front of him. Food for thought

oh i dont doubt rufus. if i did i wouldnt be calling TDAm at 1230am.
im just wondering if theres a way, in the end, that TDA can brush it off... be it covered by insurance, or a back door policy.
but what im thinking? rufus has the 'out' planned for them... that he makes the example, then he administers the cure. just so his stock becomes immune to it happening again.
...and then they all covered.
...and then there was 1.
check yas in the AM. ~BB

I don't think TDAM is going down. I definitly do not expect their response to be, "Well, Rufas was right we are in deep." No I expect they will inflict as much damage on Rufas's credibility as they can, and try and look bigger than any little OB listed corporation.
Problem is we haven't gotten the truth from them (TDAM) yet, so anything they say will be unproven heresay until there is a court date and municipal filings. Any damage done will be to the shareholders of CSHD, and to the account holders of TDAM.
Personally I blame TDAM for this situation. Their greed may be "our" undoing.

Companies that participate in the practice of "Short" selling either: buy their positions out of the market or go bankrupt.
Conversion Solutions Holdings Inc. has filed 8K documentation, announcing nearly 2.6 billion dollars in assets and yet TD Ameritrade (and their subsidiaries) continue to sell shares they don't own, or have the ability to borrow. TD Ameritrade responds not by buying the stock out of the market, to cover their "Shorts," but by refusing their customers their legitimate right to buy more OTC Bulletin Board: CSHD stock. You have to wonder here. Given TD Ameritrade's recent history of problems that include but are not limited to: PAIV, PAIM, PAVC, QBIT possibly AWYB and CSHD. Is it a pattern of deceit or just plain ineptness of policy. Whatever it is will need to be addressed. The PR stated that the light has been shone on this, I only hope that Rufus was smart enough to know that that light will be shining on him and CSHD as well and hope that they have taken all the precautions neccessary to make the merger and reset are airtight. Rufus you have awaken a sleeping bear and I sure hope you've trained to wrestle that bear.

all this from the beginning was an elaborate scheme, set up by the the SEC and coupled with RPH to arrive at where we are now.
The plot would go as the following:
The SEC, having received numerous complaints over the decades from Investors and Corps.about the harsh and adverse effect NSing was have on their profits and businesses, decide to finally investigate it throughly. But in order to do so they must get inside,to get the fell and concrete evidence as it unfolds, and to see if the problems all have been reporting to them has some solid facts tailing them. So, up pops Rufus, with connections in the right places, convinences those in power to let him put together a company, follow all the rules and present it with a very deciding value and countable flow of shares Authorized and Outstanding to follow. The SEC, with eyes on this thing all along, watches as things come together. A company which has presented over 1.2b dollar statements of value, who knows it has a definite amount of Authorized shares, knows the amout of Outstanding shares, has the interest from investors and the volume to justify, yet it's price simply stag-nats and falls. The SEC, being objective, allow things to correct themself, it doesn't happen, more time give to correct, it still doesn't happen. Now here we logs and document the thing as it came about. What if this did occur, the question would be, where does this story go from here?.......this is all just IMM and IMHO. a day-dream, just thinking aloud and killing time.

Love it. We even have government conspiracy theories.
So, does anyone own stock in TDAmeritrade (AMTD)? I'm curious to see how that plays out. There are also messages on the AMTD Yahoo board that AMTD's database has been compromised.
I called TDAmeritrade and they said their database has not been compromised. I also asked them about CSHD and he said they "are aware of that PR and it is untrue. We will be taking appropriate measures".
With these two rumors coming out at the same time, maybe someone is shorting AMTD as well.

not missing this show, but IMO TD won't say much of anything other than it is their policy type stuff - lawyers get paid for the rest so not much of a fireworks show. Trader perception will rock this pps all over the place today IMO.
