Glass its funny you say that. I remember hearing a story about the Brits dipping their musket balls in pork blood during one of there conflicts with arabs. I also remember hearing it worked.
I cant seem to find anything on it though.

Was it from one of Kiplings stories about fighting in Afganistan? If so, it was pork fat rather than blood used to waterproof the powder/shot packets....and wasn't the upshot of it all that the Indian/Brittish soldiers wouldn't bite off the ends of the pork-fat wax packets and load their muskets and the british military had to learn to respect the religious beliefs of non-Christians?

I wonder if the palestians and the surrounding countries realize that their giving Israel the perfect excuse to take out every single hot zone that they have only been monitoring?

If India gets involved this early though this could end a lot quicker. Especially if the Arab nations decide not to declare war on Israel. I could see that happening if other nations get in the fray and make it long odds on success.

Well, our generation and even yours RD are about to see it all......We are heading for a War on a much larger scale than Americans have seen sence 45.......All this containment bs is not going to work..They won't go Nuclear, that would not work.
It's going to be house to house and up front and personal.

If india gets involved then things will ramp up quickly.. the muslims and Hindus are old enemies. Russia and china will take the muslim's side.. europe will side with the russians... Like I said a few weeks ago when I returned.. Does anyone know if there is published research on global wind patterns in the event of a nukleer war?

I think half the intellegence about North Korea and thier "buried air force" is bull. Land war? No thanks, even if only few people in that million man army can shoot straight and have the will to do so it would be big and messy.
Just keep em at a distance and bomb until the internal structure colapses.
