Wow, I missed some fun this weekend!!

First off, I think it is safe to say that any "professional" pumper took their money and left this sinking boat a looooooooooong time ago!

I think Rod was optimistic about this stock just like I was. We WANTED to believe in it.(notice the past tense)

But just in case I am wrong......

Troubles Deepen at QTV

By John M. Higgins -- Broadcasting & Cable, 4/9/2006 11:27:00 PM

The troubles at gay cable network Q Television keep getting worse, with the new CEO warning of “considerable accounting irregularities.” Lloyd Fan, chairman and CEO of QTV parent Triangle Multi-Media Limited, said in a statement that the financial condition of the company is worse than anticipated when he took over in March.

"Day by day, it became more apparent that the proper records were not kept and that the necessary support documents for accounting entries are not available,” Fan said. "I am deeply disappointed by these discoveries and am working to find alternative solutions for the company." Fan and other QTV executives could not be reached for comment.

The depth of QTV’s troubles became apparent in February when the network suspended production of news and talk shows, going into rerun mode. Founder Frank Olsen then left the company and was replaced by Fan, a financier who has been expected to inject new capital into Triangle. But it’s not clear whether any cash has come in.

Further, Time Warner Cable’s Houston system has dropped the pay network. When securing access on the system last year, QTV agreed to cash payments to support marketing. But the company hasn’t paid, so Time Warner dropped it last week. The network continues to be carried in nine other Time Warner systems but hasn’t convinced many subscribers to sign up.

QTV has long been a cloudy company, with Triangle trading in the over-the-counter "pink sheets" market, where information is much harder to come by than for stocks traded on larger exchanges. QTV trades for around one-one hundredth of a cent but has billions of outstanding shares and often trades more than a billion shares a day.

I’ve been shadow following this board for about a year! It’s been quite entertaining watching all of your posts.

QBID will tank, as will TMM. This is a tax write off, but.....is anyone looking into a class action against Franky for fraud, if so, I’d like to join the class.

VDC Corporation Launches First Ever Television-Like Experience on a PC
Monday April 10, 7:00 am ET
vdc.com Offers Multi-Channel Live Television Programming Line-Up to 50 Million Households via Broadband Connected PCs

NORTHBROOK, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 10, 2006--VDC Corporation, a media and technology services provider, today announced the nationwide availability of their much anticipated vdc.com Television On the Desktop (TOD) service. Transforming Windows based PCs, laptops and mobile devices into personal cable television receivers, vdc.com allows individuals anywhere-anytime access to a host of live linear cable television channels without the need for a physical cable-box or special software.

Enabling consumers to watch live cable television programming from wherever they are, vdc.com turns any broadband connected laptop, desktop PC or Windows powered Smartphone into a true multi-channel television-like experience.

"vdc.com clearly defines a new era for television viewing," said Robert L. Heymann Jr., Chairman of VDC Corporation. "Our goal is to deliver a familiar cable television-like experience by allowing people easy access to interesting and informative programming -- when they're on their computer."

vdc.com utilizes Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) technology and offers multiple cable channels live to consumers via the embedded Microsoft Media Player, without the need for additional boxes or software. vdc.com subscribers will be able to watch dozens of broadcast, cable and specialty television programming from anywhere in the United States with just the click of a mouse.

More than 50 million households in the United States have access to a high speed Broadband Internet connection, and the public's appetite for content that is accessible anywhere continues to grow. Until now, most video delivered over the Internet has suffered from numerous issues -- shaky images, broken audio and freezing, because it streamed at a single, low bit-rate of 300-700k. VDC has developed proprietary technology that allows it to capture, encode and stream multi-bit-rate video in a live format, at rates up to 3,000k without the need for consumers to download special software or configure anything. Also, vdc.com does not have any channel capacity constraints -- it can deliver an infinite number of unique "cable-type" television channels to its subscribers -- including general and special interest programming.

"The 50 billion dollar cable and linear broadcast market is ripe for a television over Internet service that doesn't require complex set-up technologies," said VDC President and CEO Michael Wolf. "VDC is capitalizing on the huge market opportunity to be the first aggregator of live branded television delivered over the public IP network."

vdc.com television programming is available on your browser through VDC's proprietary "peel-and-stick" viewer, or virtual television set, that can be placed anywhere on a users' desktop, allowing television to stream while surfing the net or using other computer programs. VDC's virtual television is simple to operate. Like a real television, it has a channel changer, volume control and power switch. By mimicking the television experience, it is easy for consumers to adopt the technology. "With this move, we will be delivering the multi-channel media universe to anyone at work or at home," added Wolf.

Consumer Experience

vdc.com programming will mirror that of a traditional cable offering of linear channels and Video on Demand content -- with tiered levels of service for premium channels. Customers who subscribe to vdc.com pay a monthly fee and simply login to the Web site to begin watching -- no additional set up is required. On vdc.com, consumers can watch TV anywhere, from any broadband connected PC. Smaller vdc.com streams can also be viewed on wireless-connected PDA devices and EVDO-enabled mobile phones running the Microsoft Windows operating system. With a single subscription to vdc.com, consumers can access live television programming anywhere -- at home, a coffee shop or even the airport.

At launch, vdc.com will deliver 20 channels of programming including two news channels, Fashion TV, MavTV, The Pentagon Channel, NASA Television, Q Television Network (QTN), Men's Outdoors and Recreation, Healthy Living Channel, iDrive, Resort & Residence Channel, Adrenaline Nation TV, Video Game Trailer channel, live shopping channels with enhanced interactive features including ShopNBC and Celebrity Shopping Network. vdc.com will be adding three to four additional channels per month through the remainder of 2006.

"We are extremely excited to be partnering with VDC. Their platform extends our reach beyond the residential marketplace and into the enormous potential of the office environment. MavTV and its fresh, original content targeting men is a great compliment to the diverse line-up of other programming VDC will make available," said Doug Jost, founding partner and EVP of Sales and Marketing for MavTV.

For companies interested in licensing content to vdc.com, please contact Robert L. Heymann Jr. at rheymann*vdc.com or 800-478-2303.

Two months to the Gay Games and we have no clue whether or not that deal is still on; we dont know if QTN is prepared; we are getting dropped by carriers; we have not picked up any new carriers; we dont know if the Q crew has been paid; we dont know if QTN Studios is back in production; we dont know if NTI is broadcasting/making money; we dont know if we have setteled all the previous lawsuits; we dont know what Lloyd is planning to do about the QBID PPS; we dont know what his master plan is; we dont know who the new managment/board of directors will be; we dont know subscription numbers (rumor is 800); we dont know what assets are controlled by TMM/QBID; we dont know the true value of the movie collection; we dont know what Lloyd paid for TMM/QTN/QBID; we dont know what if any role Frankie the Fraudster may currently have; we dont know why we dropped from trading billions a day to only thousands;

we still dont know jack!

I hope Lloyd puts out some news this week that will shed some transparency on these concerns.

True True about the Gay Games, however however covers the games has rights. If anyone else wants coverage they have to buy it from the company that owns the rights. So either way QBID makes money.

Full disclosure my cost basis in this stock is 4k and I'm down to 800. I would like the stock to rebound, but if not then I can take the tax advantage. And the previous post should read “however whomever covers the” vs “however however”

We are assuming that is still the case. Remember, we had contractual obligations to fulfill as well. QTN put up $1.3M for the rights to broadcast; in addition QTN was supposed to provied "free" advertising for the Gay Games - how much of this has QTN done, with all the production stops and re-runs; and we were supposed to be available in 150 markets. Is the infrastructure and links available for all this to happen. In general is QTN ready? We dont know. Also, it has been rumored (cannot confirm) that Gay Games are concerned about QTN instability and that other options are being researched.

Wangdo, good post! Thanks. I may try to reach out to The Q today to see what type of revenue share they might get out of this. Because if they do get some moulah back, I'd be inclined to sign up. I figure ive invested enough cash, a little more each month wouldnt hurt if there is a possibility the ship might right itself.

That was pretty easy. I'm watching Q television right now, lol. Now I need to see what the live programming is like later today.

Well, I've done everthing I can to try and help this puppy out. $11.95 a month wont kill me and I hope it helps the cause, however small.

Good luck all.

Provided that QTN can get crews to the games and pay for their cost, I would presume that advertiser would piggyback on the coverage. That said, I would also presume that other carriers like LOGO, Advocate, etc, would like to pick up the coverage.

If Fan is the real deal, and not Frankie in despise; AND starts marketing his goods as info-mmercials this pup of a stock might start making money. (BTW, thought I’d cover all three spellings of Frank’s names….I have infinite others which are not appropriate for this forum but sure you’ all have thought and used the other names)

I am concerned however about the shell they're in. I think I know enough about business to know there is a way to get out of a shell from a former business. I'm not an expert in this area, or in the area of listed companies, but since this is a Pinky; there should be a way that savvy businessmen like Fan to find a way out of this mess!

we just picked up another carrier deal that was just anounced a couple posts ahead of your post.

You honestly think we dont see these things and just taking your words blindly?

man maybe late yesterday when i was convinced i was going to jail for questioning info that came my way.

maybe you dont know Jack but Jack is my neighbour.

We dont know whats up your asss either.

relax, time will tell. you sat this long dont worry about it. the end of the year you will either have a tax right off or you will be happy.

not much is going to happen in a short period of time to correct the problems. Give them some time to work out the problems.

I hope Lloyd puts out some news this week that will shed some transparency on these concerns.
