Ok!!! "IT" happened, exactly what everyone has said they have been praying, wanting, waiting, and wishing for, for over a year plus, a new CEO to run this company!!!
I'm more than a little concerned about "Every one" of the board of Directors and Officers of Triangle Multi-Media and QTN being gone though.
I know some of you will say this is absolutely a great thing, but who's in place with the knowledge about all of the things that have been accomplished to this date and will be able to continue the guidance of QTN?
The PR says "All, have resigned their positions and have relinguished ALL responsibilities and affiliations".
Is it even possible for Fan to have his hands around this monster, this quick. How can there be a comfort level in all of them washing their hands of TMM and QTN completely?
This could be exceptionally great news, or exceptionally bad news that ALL are gone!
I'm very interested to hear the various opinions on how this will affect QTN and us as investors!
I guess time will tell, I've been here for almost 2 years along with many, many others, believing and backing Frank Olsen's dream, and hoping that mine and all of the long term investors dreams would come true.
I'm Just a small investor compared to many of you, "God help Jenncd10". I have paper lost for the time being a little more $12,000 to date. Unless QTN goes Bankrupt or Fan reverse splits this thing into oblivian, then it will be actual losses right along with everyone else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel for those that may have invested more than they should have or invested their life savings. How about those of us who believed and talked our friends and family members into investing in this?
So much for the promises that appear to be for the most part undelivered on, or have been out right blatant lies! Ya that pony took us for a ride!!!!! Just read my tag line and you'll know exactly how I feel.

How about it Doc, Imak, and DJ, the three people with more knowledge about the inside workings of QTN than most of us put together due to their visiting QTN, they have up until this point, chosen not to speak of the things they know, were told and saw.
Frank and crew no longer exist, so no loyalties and no commitments by any of you to QTN or Frank Olsen should remain. So please share with us what you say you couldn't or chose not to for fear of ramifications before.
This is not an attack on anyone, Sooooo, don't even go there, I'm not a basher and never have been, I have never attacked anyone nor called anyone out. I personally chose to ride this plane wreck to the ground, when I could have bailed out and saved myself long ago!
Now that Frank and his gang of despirado's are gone, there should be abolutely NO REASON that these three people cannot reveal the truth about "EVERYTHING" they saw, heard, were told and promised!!!
I and I'm sure many, many others that have followed, trusted and believed in what these three people have said for a long time would really like to hear the information that was given to them or they aquired while visiting the studios.
I respectfully ask the three of you to share everything you know that you couldn't share with us before.
I will now remit the floor to the three of you and listen intently.

the word ALL is pretty obvious that they are all gone. None is the opposite to all. some is not even considered here. any would not be appropriate either.
it looks to me that none have retained any position, from the wording of this.
This Fan deal has been in the works since the end of the audit in October, as far as im concerned.
Fan has some idea where this has to go, and how he is going to do it.
he does not seem like a man that would throw that kind of money into the ring without having a plan, and a plan to back up the plan.
As was mentioned before, Frank was working with our money, Fan is throwing his own money at this.
he is not about to loose it in my opinion.
we know next to nothing about this man, all we know is he has his own money at risk, which is something that we should feel good about.
Frank had nothing to loose and everything to gain, so no worries as to how this unfolds. Fan on the other hand has a vested interest, and will have to make this work out or loose his investment.
the only thing we dont know is if we are going to be rewarded for our investments, or if we are going to be thrown to the wolves.
time will tell and i look forward to his first communications to us as to his intentions and his commitments to us.
we can only hope for the best and be prepared for the worst. I do feel though that we are in better shape then we where yesterday.
Frank had no options left in my opinion but to get out or fold. fortunately for us he got out and because of that we are not dead in the water yet.
this is all in my honest opinion. i do not suggest anyone buy in or increase thier positions until the new game plan is laid out for us.
Good luck to everyone, today is the beginning of a new road in the world of QBID. lets hope this one is much smoother and an uphill run. that last road we just turned off of was a very long bumpy hill that i hope we can stay off of from here on out.

Sounds like Fan bought "Q", is that not what Frank said he was doing "Building To Sell". I am not sure of this so it is just a thought

either that or Fan bought more then Frank was aware of and took a controling interest in the company with out Frank knowing it.
this allmost looks like a hostile take over and Frank got screwed out of the company. this pr is made to save a bit of face for Frank.
agian this is only speculation, i have nothing to back this up on.
but someone has been buying a shiitload of shares since October and many many many times we have asked "who is buying all these shares"
i think now we may have an answer.
I hope to god that this guy is going to make things better for us all.

For the faithful longs here that refuse to damn Frank as he steps down, I commend you for your respect. Yeah, he wasn't the best CEO but he has brought us this far.
I can go on and on about the positive things he has done for QTN/TMM but I won't. We already know.
With that said, there is one thing I would like to mention. As much as we appreciate the things Frank has done for us, there are people on this thread that have shared good and informative information that has been equally appreciated.
But unfortunately, due to our spiral thats caused so much frustration (understandable but not necessarily technically justified), the Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde syndrome of some posters here has seperated a few longtime freinds on this thread.
PT, MT, Doc, Whiz, KC, Sam, Suz, Lil, Imak, Wangdo and many more, have all contributed great information. And why?...because they care enough to share that information with everyone else to benefit as well.
Well....atleast it used to be that way. In fact, there was a time when this thread was probably the best QBID thread throughout all the other websites.
We are practically starting with a clean slate here. So lets all agree that there have been some of you that have been both wrong and right.
Agreed?...yes, definately!
Lets get back to the way things were before. And this spat about the date on "The Advocate" is ridiculous and uncalled for.

Well, if Frankie the Fraud sold QTN/QBID, he lied to us once again, because he told QBID shareholders that when he sold that would be entitled to sell proceeds... Unless Loyd worked out a hostile take over, then it would seem that Frankie boy fiannly got shaft (no pun intended).
At this point, how much worse can it get? We can't sell this POS anyway. I personnally am looking forward to re a R/S. IMO there is NO other way to get the PPS back when there is 350B O/S

In reality I think Frank said, "lets be out there at all of the parties and events, create lots of with-it live shows and hopefully this will bring in the subscribers" The sad fact is that these carriers take so long to decide and have so much clout. Silicon Valley start-ups also take low pay and stock options and work for many years for a big payoff. At least Q has contracts and a product. We haven't heard boo from the carriers, no broken contracts yet.

QBIDn - I must have missed something, but what the hell has Frankie the Fraud "...done for us?" The only thing I can figure out is that he has managed to take our money to build his dream (wetdream in his words) lie and break QBID shareholder promises. Again, I ask what has he done for us? I think I may have missed something.

need i remind you that he has got the channel up and running in 16 cities, a telephony deal and a dvd out to the shareholders?
these are all promises that he made and kept.
he has kept many many of his promises, there are others that he missed on but many are things that where beyond his control.
yes there where promises broke, but that is the way business is.
many businesses start out with the intention of fulfilling all its plans. the thing is Frank brought us to this point.
he could have bail out long ago and left us holding a bag. he could have fold and went bankrupt, but he didn't do that either.
No one is happy with where we are and yes Frank may be responsible for this, but he has not completely screwed us like he could have.
we are still alive and have a new injection of hope here and for this we can thank Frank for not taking the easy way out and filing chapter 11.
get over your problems here and either get out or contribute to dd to find out what we may expect from our new CEO

Q Television Network, one of three national gay and lesbian TV cable channels, announced March 7 that it is replacing its chief executive officer, amid accusations from at least one on-air personality that he has not been paid.
Lloyd Fan, who served as interim president, will take over as QTN’s new chair and CEO succeeding founding CEO Frank Olsen, according to a news release. Officials from QTN declined to comment, deferring to the release.

The release also states that QTN is undergoing a companywide overhaul, including the creation of an entirely new board of directors and the replacement of QTN officers. All board members were relieved of their responsibilities as of March 7.
In early February, QTN laid off much of its production staff and filming stopped for a week. Although production resumed shortly thereafter, paychecks have still gone unpaid, according to Jack E. Jett, co-host of QTN's pop culture show "Queer Edge."
"The people that worked on my show have not been paid," Jett says. "I haven't gotten a check in two months."
A recent statement issued from the company's then-CEO Olsen stated that the entire company was being restructured.
"This could take 3-4 weeks, but everyone will be paid and brought up to date," read the statement. "We deeply regret any inconvenience or hardship this has caused our staff and the gay community."
Jett said the missed paychecks created financial difficulties for his young production team members.
"These kids are living with mom, working off debts," he said. "Some people were not able to pay bills or buy groceries."
Q Television Network, a subsidiary of Triangle Multi-media Limited, launched in September 2004. The station is available to the public through subscription and programming runs 24 hours every day. The channel is available through Cox, RCN, Time Warner and Bright House networks in Birmingham, Ala., Eureka, Calif., San Diego, Calif., San Francisco, Chicago, New York, and all of Massachusetts, and through satellite with C-Band Intelsat. Both Cox and RCN are minority cable providers in D.C. and northern Virginia. Comcast, the area's major provider, does not carry the channel.
The station airs gay- and lesbian-related movies, documentaries, news programming and human interest shows. QTN is also the official network of Gay Games VII that take place in Chicago during July.

There has been a big management shakeup at gay and lesbian network Q TV Nework (QTN).
Major investor Lloyd Fan, who was recently brought on as president, has been named chairman and CEO of QTN and parent Triangle Multi-Media, replacing company founder Frank Olsen.
But Fan has gone farther. After doing due dilligence on the company, according to a source, he is replacing the board and top management--above VP level--as well, with at least three executives, including Olsen and the company's COO and CFO, said to be heading for the exit.
"Effective today, all Triangle Multi-Media Limited and QTN officers and board of directors have resigned their positions and have relinquished all responsibilities and affiliations," the company said in a statement. "Details of the new management infrastructure, with an emphasis on both television and finance industry, will be forthcoming."

The move is effective immediately, and the now-Fan-run company says that "the current and moving-forward financial obligations of Triangle Multi-Media Limited and QTN are also being vigorously reviewed, and a fresh approach to resolving these situations will be announced in the coming weeks."
Q has been making some progress convincing cable systems to offer the channel as a pay service and claims carriage on properties reaching 3 million homes. However, it’s not clear how many subscribers have actually ordered the channel.
Q has long had an odd financial structure. Parent company Triangle Multi-Media is a penny stock with 20 billion shares outstanding, but trading at a fraction of a cent per share. Tuesday’s price: 1/100th of a penny.
A spoksewoman for the company says that Fan runs Best Prop Holding Group, which has built a business in the manufacturing, financing and service sectors in Asia.
