Re-read that again. That was not a PR, that was some guys thoughts on Q.

I re-read it and came to the part that states: "Up to thirty percent of QTN may be used for future financing and debt. With the accelerated growth of QTN, management felt it was time to formally announce this to QBID shareholders.". This part to me was not all that well written becasue I had no idea what it said. But as I though about it I wondered if it meant this. Right now QBID owns 100% of QTN. Frank is saying some of that 100% ownership might be sold off (up to 30%) for "future financing and debt". I think at some point we will come to find out that we only own 70% of QTN. Maybe potential future investors are more interested in owning QTN rather than QBID.

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - MTV Networks' gay-oriented Logo channel said Monday it partnered with Rosie O'Donnell to develop a sketch-comedy series.
The tentatively titled "Simply Sketch," which will feature a cast of up-and-comers, will be filmed in front of a studio audience with taped segments of musical numbers as well as commercial and movie parodies incorporating political satire.
Logo -- which targets lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender viewers -- also said that episodes will feature guest appearances by celebrities and "friends of the LGBT community." The show is slated to premiere later this year.
O'Donnell, who will serve as an executive producer, called the show "fresh and hilariously creative."
O'Donnell and the show's originators, Dan MacDonald and Joe Del Hierro, plan to collaborate with writers and producers from "The Rosie O'Donnell Show," which aired from 1996-2002 in syndication.
Logo, which launched June 30, is available in more than 19 million U.S. homes.

Even if the Q network raised Judy Garland from the dead and gave her a weekly variety show you'd never see this stock move...

IMHO, Rosie is a self-absorbed Baffoon with a twist of Diva to boot.
Sandra is edgy and racier. I think she is by far a better addition to The Q lineup.

Well, at least QBID didn't close in the Red. Otherwise it would have made my perfect day not so perfect. I hope someone took my stock suggestion this morning and bought some ELN... Don't put all your money in QBID!

Mag I agree, Rosie would have been a great catch. But Q can't hire every gay performer ... and they have a nice stable of "lesser-known" performers who appear to have a faithful audience (this is based only on what I've read about them since I admit I haven't seen many of them actually perform).
So, I don't consider this as being much of a negative ... it might even be a plus if other top gay stars choose to book with a competing network (like Q) rather than compete with Rosie at LOGO.

I think this is where you all yell "Hello, BL, welcome to OP Anonymous" ... but I could be wrong, since I've never attended any of the meeting.

T S I'd pay $7.95 to watch Judy Garland on Q ... assuming they did some really good makeup work.
