Plasticon to Acquire Pro Mold, Inc., one of the Premiere Injection Molding Facilities in the Midwest

Privately Financed Acquisition Gives Plasticon the Production Capacity for an Additional $20 Million in Manufacturing and Sales Annually

LEXINGTON, Ken., Aug 3, 2005 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Plasticon International Inc. (Pink Sheets:PLNI) announced today that this week the company will acquire Pro Mold, Inc., one of the premiere injection molding facilities in the Midwest. The privately financed acquisition (with no dilution for PLNI shareholders), will dramatically increase Plasticon's production capacity to $20 million in manufacturing and sales annually for this facility alone. As part of the terms of the agreement, senior management at Pro Mold, Inc. will be retained.
"The timing couldn't be better for this acquisition because our sales are ramping up at a vigorous pace and one of our top priorities is to expand our production capacity to meet rising demand for our products," said Mr. Turek, President and CEO of Plasticon International. "With that in mind, immediately after the acquisition we will be adding molding machines that will allow Plasticon to double the current capacity of the facility."

Pro Mold, Inc. a state-of-art custom plastic injection molder of thermoplastic materials in St. Louis, Missouri, has been in business since 1987. "We are thrilled about this acquisition because not only does it allow us to considerably increase our production capacity, it also allows us to ensure that we continue to deliver the highest quality products to our customers," Mr. Turek said. "The facility has totally integrated closed-loop systems with programmable logic control in addition to the most advanced drying, heating and cooling equipment to ensure material integrity and shot-to-shot consistency. The unsurpassed quality control at Pro Mold is one of the reasons they have a reputation as one of the preeminent injection molding facilities in the Midwest."

For more information, please visit Plasticon International online at www.plasticonintl.com.

Rockin' news!!! Totally NOT what any of us thought. This is X-mas!!

That makes two companies now acquired with private money -- shows they are serious about not diluting stocks further. Also shows they have a little cash floating around out there (or access to it), and shows they are getting ready to rumble!

Man -- not the quick little spurt we thought, but this is turning the future potential from an escalator to an elevator.

I am glad to be long.....

I am wondering if they will now delay the audit and move to the OTC until this acquisition is complete -- that could be six months or more. Hope not, but who cares?

Nobody in their right mind goes out and buys companies with private money when they could do it with public money unless they are really confident in themselves. I share the confidence...

BTW -- thanks for the ***s and for those of us crossovers, note that HISC came out with a little news this morning too ("soft," but news nonetheless).

Today looks like a GOOD day to.... be rich!

My prediction is that Cold will now raise that GTC to $0.010 -- we are working him one 1,000th at a time! In two years, he will have a GTC for $2.00 when we are trading at $5.00

Someone find them and look at thier website and see the picture of what they do and then add 2+2 and you will come to the conclusion that they are PROBABLY the company that is/did build the molds in the first place.

This will be a very educational day for me. Glad to see so many happy posters, but my sentiments are like the following from another board:

>>Caution! Great news and it indeed foreshadows our future but be cautious about expectations today. PPS moves on audit news and sales news. Most investors do not look at foreshadowing, but look at :

1. What has this company done or doing that is VERIFIED (audit)
2. What is the future revenues (new sales contracts) <<

If the pps moves up on this news it'll be great. But we still need the audit, and I am not impressed that there's no mention of it. Today, based on the reaction of the pinky market, I'll learn whethe that's just my own private obsesession.

I am with you, State -- I expect his PR to attract a little attention to the company, but not really do anything else. What it really shows IMO is the future stability of the company and growth potential. It just reduces the overall risk of the long position, but shouldn't in itself make too much of a difference in the PPS, unless it creates a spike in speculative interest.

As far as I am concerned, the news is just fine. I may not be rich tomorrow, but I am at least going to be able to sleep without my usual benzo load (4mg Xanax, 30mg Valium, 6mg Ativan -- the Pink investor's cocktail of choice) [Smile]

Thanks Sonic...it was a repost that i wrote in checkmark next to the things lining up and manufacturing was one of them that I had a question mark beside and then that one lined up today.

It seemed natural to me that they would do this because the way it is right now they have no control WHATSOEVER on manufacturing and shipping and how do you meet deadlines like that...you dont!!

I take it that everything I was told last week is accurate now. The news today verifies that. Remember the 3 things I was told: Soft news last week, major news this week, that the audit results are imminent. The only piece left that I was told about is the audit. So I expect to see that SOON.....
