Hard to believe we're only up 7% on this. It is definitely a nice chunk added to the bottom line!

Hey guys... I've been watching all that you've been posting for the past few days, and I found out about this forum in a random search I did on HISC on google. I thought it was an awesome stock and I found some aficionados. Unfortunately, i was unable to buy at low prices because I didnt have a brokerage account, and now is when I am getting my funds transfered, meaning that I'm going to have to buy next week. Today tehre was an amazing rally, 18% as we speak. Do you guys think its worth it still? Do you think that there's going to be another dip to the resistnace point of about .7 or .8, high .8's, or is it just going to continue its ascent.

HISC will dip under .10 again unless some seriously great news hits. it might run up some more monday but by the end of next week under .10 is probable.

Sell high buy low get more shares -- great to do if
a) you don't do it too often to qualify as a "daytrader" under SEC rules -- which require special account requirements (see your broker for more info) and
b) you don't get "caught," meaning that after you sell high and are wating for the price to drop, there is some great news or other thing that causes a run-up in the price. If that happens, you lost out because you did not make as much profit as you could have.
-- that is a "flip" or a "swing" move/play.
welcome to the thread -- be sure to check out some of the other interesting things here (like oh I don't know, maybe PLNI for instance
(PLNI is by far my "home" thread and my "favorite" thread -- even if you don't invest in it, it's worth a read all the way back to page 1 to see what obsticles a pink faces and how people react to them).
Some of us are also in ICMH, so you may want to check that out too.
Some rules:
ALWAYS do your own DD (Due Diligence) in a company before you invest. NEVER believe the hype that people throw at you one way or the other. ONLY even bother listening to it if it from a friend you have gotten to know on these threads. Take a look at the WHLI thread and chart if you want to see what results from blindly following hype.
Take a look at the GRYF thread and chart if you want to see what can happen without doing DD.
Take a look at the SSTY thread and chart if you want to see what can happen when things look "too good."
LASTLY -- NEVER EVER play the Pinks with anything more than you can afford to lose -- even when a stock is rising like mad, it can be stopped and your whole investment put in jeopardy in a heartbeat (SSTY)
Also, information from people like me may be great or it may be total BS -- take time to develop relationships with people before you start blindly believing them.
As to entry point -- that's impossible for anyone to say -- In my opinion, today's news was pretty much unexpected -- your DD will show you that HISC is all orders and no product right now. When/if they start filling orders, they should jump bigtime. Look at the charts to see where the floor is/has been in relation to news, and make up your own mind. I for one got back in this morning in what I had left to spend. Could have been a good move, or bad -- who knows.
Good luck Dude, and welcome to the threads!

Thank you so much man... i really appreciate it. Truth is, I have read over the financial statements and even looked up the Ed Legum guy, cuz I was reading this article about trading in pinks going up and frauds increasing at the same time... but yeah, market hype can really blind. It sucks that trading costs for pinks are so high though, i opened the account on ETRADE and tis like 50 or 60 bucks. These threads are great though... I'm from the Dominican Republic but I go to school in the states, but right now I'm in the island, and there are very few stock enthusiasts here.

Dude -- you ought to check what type of account you have -- I use Etrade and my pinks are flat comission -- no percentage at all -- just $7.99 to $10.99 depending on how many trades you do. If you trade pinks a lot, you should upgrade to that account level if you can.

good idea's when flipping a stock are never sell unless its over 3 days since bought, clearing period thus covered & in case of news that runs the stock. let the run finish before selling. pennyland has a lot of daytraders & profit taking will almost always drop a pps after a good run but ya never know how many days it might run before dropping again. if its a good stock with a real chance for a strong future, like HISC, it will probably not drop to its last pps level. but the biggest good idea is, this is pennyland & thus probably only a handful of stocks worth flipping. almost all are not stocks you want to hold more then a few days at best. if it goes up sell & move on to the next 1.

Homeland Integrated Security Systems to Benefit from Sprint/Nextel Merger
ASHEVILLE, N.C., Aug 16, 2005 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (Pink Sheets:HISC) announced today that it expects sales to increase for its Cyber Tracker units as a result of the estimated $35 billion Sprint/Nextel Merger. According to Adam S. Clough, a former Nextel Executive, and new Vice President of Corporate Development for Homeland Integrated Security Systems, the Sprint/Nextel Company will have approximately 14,000 points of distribution for retail sales of the Cyber Tracker, in contrast to the only couple of thousand that Nextel had originally. In addition, the new company will have more towers than any other cellular company.
"From a technology standpoint, Sprint Nextel is expected to move off the 800 mhz spectrum to 1900 mhz. As a result, data will be transmitted faster which will help the Cyber Tracker with additional functions," stated Homeland Integrated Security Systems Inc., CTO, Ian Riley.
Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc.'s management expects sales of the Cyber Tracker to exceed $125 million over the next three years. Homeland Integrated Security Systems will be providing the first 'Push-To-Talk,' tamper-proof unit available on a mass-distribution basis at an affordable cost.
Sprint (FON) and Nextel Communications Inc. (NXTL) recently announced that they have completed their merger transaction, forming Sprint Nextel Corporation. Sprint Nextel common stock will begin trading on the NYSE on Monday, 08/15/2005, under the symbol "S."

Hard to guess what these pennys will do on news. But I am liking this stock. I think it may turn out to be my best investment ever. Up to now, Nextel has been by best stock buy, as I got into it a few years ago at $3.00 and $5.00. rode it to $27. Sould have even held longer as it's now over $34.00. So I really like HISC's involvement in Nextel. You almost have to expect something good since several former Nextel employees went over to HISC. This will eventually go over $1.00 in my opinion!
So lets see where today's news takes good ole HISC !!

Confusing....good news comes out and the PPS drops. I dont get it. With all the crap out about the DTCC, SEC, and others, I cant see how any stock can advance without somebody playing with the numbers.

Seriously, the one reason I think the stock has been dropping is that the company is putting out too many fluff PRs in hopes of keeping the stock price up. I can see this stock dropping down to the .06 range as well until real news comes out.

Its a forward-looking PR which isnt anything more than a fluffy love letter. We have seen too many of these lately.
Solid numbers will move this fast. Nothing else really matters right now.

Yea, I just wish they would just stick to the real PRs and avoid putting out how HISC is going to benefit from every known event in the world. They come across as "look at me....look at me" PRs and when the real news comes, many could end up glossing right over it.

we are going to have 3-4 additional days of (RED) drop in price per share.
After the 4th day we will see a steady climb again, this time it can be much higher with the conference or stockholder news on the 23rd.
I say it drops to high 7's or maybe the lowest will be .082 by Thursday or Friday Morning with a climb towards the end of Friday, moving forward towards next week.
