Cyber Tracker to Be Tested in High Adventure Environment

Appalachian Trail Hikers to Carry Cyber Tracker on High Adventure Hike

SHEVILLE, NC, Mar 28, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Homeland Integrated Security Systems (OTC: HISC) has arranged for its revolutionary Cyber Tracker to be tested on the rugged Appalachian Trail. The Cyber Tracker will be part of the equipment carried by Boy Scout Troop 210 of Cary, NC, when members embark on a 50-mile hike later this year. The group of 30 hikers will be tracked during the seven-day trip and their progress mapped in real-time during the hike. This will be the first time the Cyber Tracker will be tested in a high adventure application.

"This is the perfect opportunity to demonstrate how the Cyber Tracker can be used by enthusiasts of high adventure and the outdoors," said Frank Moody, CEO of Homeland Integrated Security Systems. "Not only will the families of the hikers be able to know where they are at any given time, it will also provide a means of emergency contact if needed."

The Cyber Tracker is currently the only portable, low-cost device that supports Push to Talk, tracking and computer functions. The Cyber Tracker incorporates a single board design with the Motorola io200 modem, the Intel X scale processor, an extended battery life along with exclusive Cyber Tracker technology. This allows the unit to work as a portable processing device, creating a product with no boundaries or wires at a reasonable cost. The Cyber Tracker's convenient rugged design (5" x 5" x 1") makes it applicable in a variety of situations where it is necessary to know the exact location of a person, vehicle or other object.

The scouts will be hiking a rugged 50-mile stretch of the Appalachian Trail through the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. The Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a 2,174-mile footpath along the ridgecrests and across the major valleys of the Appalachian Mountains from Katahdin in Maine to Springer Mountain in northern Georgia. The trail traverses Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina and Georgia. The hike will take place during the last week of June.

SBC, This is interestin. Do you subscribe (HOW MUCH) or do you just use the free portion. I just subscribed to the free news letter. I didnt see anything mentioning the merger prospects. I believe that factor could push this much higher if the right company is involved.

Only from a phone call made by Jerseyboy. They said the figures will be put out in the next 2-3 days. Bank on Monday before the bell. They have other sales in various countries that should come into play. I think HISC should run tomorrow so that chasers will not want to get caught out over the weekend. Expecting big news probably both Monday and Tuesday as the merger should be finalized.

I agree w/ you on tomorrow. It's been good to see the days ending on the upside, regardless of what the action during the afternoon was.

Monday before the bell sounds realistic, as March is over, and estimated deadlines are at hand. It seems that that each of the past few days has ended w/ a bit of chasing right at the last moment. Everyone's expecting the news. Nobody want's to get caught short, because there's a solid possibility of a quick spike.

Been a while since I've seen .14, wouldn't mind seeing again soon.

Also remember that April 1st, Cybertracker goes on sale to the general public. So the PR blitz is most likely going to start Monday before the opening bell and continue all next week. MM's will cover their shorts and it is going to be HISC on the move very rapidly. Expecting the merger news will a major company will also spur heavy buying. Expecting a very brisk run thru the teens next week in my opinion if everything pans out.
