Homeland Integrated Security Systems Inc. Reports Net Profit in Second Quarter, a $250,000 Increase Over First Quarter

ASHEVILLE, N.C., Aug 1, 2005 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (Pink Sheets:HISC) today announced that it has released its second quarter 2005 financials for period ending June 30, 2005. Homeland Integrated Security Systems reported a Net Profit of $6,441 for the quarter, which was an increase of $259,339 over the first quarter of the year. For the same period the Company's assets grew by over 75 percent to a total of $2,144,606. Sales for the second quarter grew by 19.8 percent to $237,133. As noted in the Financial Notes, which accompanies the financials, Sales Backlog increased to over $8,000,000 for hardware alone, with deliveries expected to start the fourth quarter of 2005.
"We are satisfied with our sales this quarter, but we expect our sales to start growing substantially in the third and fourth quarter as our product delivery schedules are met on the Cyber Tracker and as orders are shipped," stated Frank A. Moody, II, CEO of Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc.

Green Tree Financial and the company's CPA are in the final stages of preparing the audits for the company to be up-listed to the NASDAQ Bulletin Board.

"The OTCBB is the market of choice among small businesses. It offers most of the advantages of the Big Boards at a lower cost of entry and maintenance. As compared to the Pink Sheets, it offers increased credibility, liquidity, market awareness, etc. In fact, the Securities and Exchange Commission examines the SB-2 Registration Statement of each company that applies for up-listing, and grants its' blessing after a thorough review process. Homeland Integrated Security Systems will be prepared to file the SB-2 within a couple weeks of receiving the financial audit from its PCAOB certified auditing firm," stated Mike Bongiovanni, Green Tree Financial.

Wait till the news sinks in. This is an outstanding PR this morning. What we need next is the successful completion of phase 3 and the white paper release. I believe we will move fast when that happens.

Something is wrong with the numbers:

Net Profit of $6,441 for the quarter, which was an increase of $259,339 over the first quarter of the year

Should it be:

Net Profit of $259,339 for the quarter, which was an increase of $6,441 over the first quarter of the year

or were they negitive first qtr?

$259,339 is lose of first quarter. so it is increase of $259,339 over the first quarter of the year.

I think you will find that this is your last opportunity to buy under .10. Next news out should be the completion of phase 3, and that should do it.

not sure why it even dropped today...I was execting around a 10% jump with the PR that came out. THe numbers arent huge, but it's still +$250K from last qtr...

Plus they are in the green and expecting better #'s for 3rd qtr...

I shoulda sold on the last big spike, but chose to hold, and been slowly sinking every since...shoulda played it and doubled my pos...

shoulda woulda coulda.... but didnt... *sigh*

I love this stock have made lots lots of money, waiting for my re-entry point. I said before it would be between 4-6. It may be another wek before the 5 cent price, but we will see it soon. Maybe high 5's. That's my time to rebuy big time. next run will be to .25 cents, then a retrace to 12-15 cents, before the next run.

Then OTCBB and government contracts then next year at this time 1.00 or higher.

I have only two problems with this stock:

1) I don't have as much of it as should/could have. (I somehow missed the initial run way back when)
2) There is so much good news CONSTANTLY due for this company that it's a real nail-biter to try and swing it.

Woe is me...

The 6mos net income figures were in ( )s. That means a loss of net income. They did, however show a bit of profit for the 2nd Qtr, but that was just the 2nd Qtr. The 6mos figures include the loss for the 1st Qtr. Therefore, a total loss for 6 mos.

Looking at the Balance Sheet note that the Current Assets are about $1.8 mil and the Current Liabilities are about $238 thousand. That is a damn good ratio.

PS: Go to the following site posted by Galaxy to see the 2nd Qtr and the 6 Mos figures:

https://www.otcstockinfo.com/repository/653732/653732_FR4.pdf

One more thing:

Bear in mind that they had financing of $1.1+ mil (see Cash Flow Stmt - Sales of Common Stock) of which $500+ thousand is still in Current assets which lowers the ratio mentioned above.

Thanks. Thats what I was looking for. And per today's PR they also have a backlog in Sales of approx $8MM. Future is definitely looking very bright.

Well, I am guessing it went down because of the net income loss. They projected a $7 mil net income for 2005 and that loss does not look good for that projection. On the other hand, my own feelings are positive because of the approx. $8 mil in sales, management, connections in DC as well as product and work in progress. I am in on this one for a somewhat long haul....maybe a year or more.

"Homeland Integrated Security Systems reported a Net Profit of $6,441 for the quarter, which was an increase of $259,339 over the first quarter of the year."
--------------------

This was a bit confusing, if one does not understand accounting. Yes, if you compare the 2nd Qtr to the 1st Qtr, the figures are correct. However, it is an unusual way of stating comparisons....and confusing. What they left out was the fact that the 1st Qtr was a loss of $200+ thousand or ($200,000+). I cannot remember the exact figure.

As I stated above, I think it will reach the 5's, if it goes any lower than that I'll be surprised, but that would allow me to buy more.

My re-entry point is the 5's, even if it's high 5's. This thinghasn't settled yet. Wait....

as of now, I'm only up 10%. Was up 250% less just a couple weeks ago. By friday I figure I'll be about -15%...and pretty soon, -90%. Then's when I'll sell, and the @#$! stock will jump 500%....

I'm so flustered by the -20% daily....I should have sold the day after the big jump. Or the day after that, or the day after that, or the day after that, or the day after that, or the day after that....but no....I still hold...and everyday we lose about 10-20% more....

Wake up HISC!! Your such a solid company, but investors starting to lose faith...

I bought another 15,000 shs at .061 today. Hell, folks, they are sitting on about $8 mil in sales already just with the last 2 contracts. The only reason I can see for the drop in pps now is because of the 6 Mos figures. Thats only ($246+ thousand) compared to the potential from $8 mil in sales plus.
