I think this will make cable carriers hungrier for the Q, at the very least until February. After that, only then will it be about comparison/quality. I also think (Premiumtodd are you out there?) the gay market is so huge because it is also diverse. There could be a gay "MTV" market that has very little to do with the gay "Oxygen"-minded demographic. Sexual orientation spans all other niche demographic markets, and to say one "gay channel" is THE one is like saying there's already a straight channel, so why bother starting another. Just my opinion. Go Q! Cheers.

I'd consider this as a good sign as Qbid started moving up in the past 15 mins..

Thanks for your inquiry. In answer to your question, QTV Newsmagazine is not ---at present---affiliated with the Palm Springs-based QTelevision Network. The new gay television venture sounds extremely promising. We, ourselves, look forward to learning more about QTV Network.
Our show, QTV Newsmagazine was originally formed back in 1995 and has aired (off & on) over the past 8 years only on local San Francisco cable and staying focused mostly on LGBT news, information and entertainment as it pertains to the San Francisco-Bay Area market. Currently, we have a once-a-month programming schedule on local COMCAST cable and are looking to increase our frequency in coming months. Like QTelevision Network we will soon be coming to the web on a 24/7 accessibility for interested viewers.
Thanks for your interest and please let us know if you have any other questions, comments or information about QTelevision that we should know about.

Hi are you affiliated with the Qtelevision network that is located in Palm Springs, CA.? They are a new network that focuses on the GLBT lifestyle. They will be launching in June. Any info you have is appreciated. www.qtelevision.com _________________

Yea, I'm here. Sitting here, watching the bouncing ball just pondering how different each day is in the "stock" world. It's more fun and suspenseful than getting your tongue stuck to a flag pole on a cold winter's day! LOL LMAO

I'm not sure if that will be there, but if it is, I don't think it will help our PPS. I don't think they will include the O/S in the same PR that discusses the soft launch.
