Yeh, this stock may have had a good past, but it's a different story now. What with all the shares outstanding and just about as many as they want to issue at their beck and call, this stock sucks bigtime. I feel sorry for anyone who bought this pos even when it was .004. Yet, there has to be a reason this pos is moving everyday. TreeSafe ? Give me a break. That's just BS. They might as well say they make refined plotomium !!!! I looked up fire retardarts on google and found many other companies that make such a compound, and have for several years. There is something going on with this stock, I'm not sure what, but I'm getting my measly 500K shares out of if it ever gets above .003 again. Good luck anyone who invested in this retard of a stock. I'm glad I invested really spare change, and didn't take it too seriously as far as making a few cents. It make NO SENSE!!

How come I have a inner feeling this stock is going to rise as many traders begin to sell. I know it may sound crazy but it definently seems possible.
I dont think there PR's are false, but after me getting out of this and sitting back and analysising it.
Do you think they are holding off to actually give the results from there sales after Christmas is officially over?
Could these results be better than expected?
Is this stocks sales going to improve the companys outlook for 2004?
Yes I do agree this stock is a POS, but thats only because so many people lost money and this stock has been on a continous decline since the levels of .006.

They can't announce sales as they are in the height of their selling season. Wouldn't expect a sales announcement until just before Christmas. Anyway, I'm in for 250K free, so can wait until the reindeer come home

Right now this is an easy target to sell for tax reasons, and I bet lots of folks are doing that. Once that's done and news is released there will be lots of buyers and big gains.

American Fire Retardant Announces Successful Re-Test of TreeSafe in Alabama via COMTEX
December 10, 2003
SAN DIEGO, Dec 10, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
American Fire Retardant Corp. (OTCBB:AFRR) announced today that a new burn test on a real Christmas tree was successful in Alabama after one failed there last week due to the participants not following the instructions and allowing the product to dry before trying to burn the tree. Stephen F. Owens, President of AFRC, said 'We requested that a new test be done to show that when TreeSafe is allowed to dry, it works properly. We were surprised with last week's results but were not surprised to learn that the instructions for proper drying were not followed. We are very pleased that today's test proved beyond any doubt that TreeSafe prevents Christmas trees from burning, just as all other tests of TreeSafe that have been made around the country have shown.'
In other news, as announced by American Fire Retardant Corp. on November 14, 2003 and by PTS Products International, Inc. (OTCBB:PTSO) on December 1, 2003, an agreement was signed for PTSPI to have exclusive rights for marketing, manufacturing and distribution of the GloveBox(TM) in China for worldwide use. The GloveBox(TM) is a product of American Safety Products, a division of American Fire Retardant Corp.

Milty, I hope I'm right too. Unlike you , I haven't sold any shares yet and am approaching a 45% loss. I'm waiting as long as possible but still may sell out before 2004. It's a balancing act.
Good luck. DZ

i hadn't even heard the first test in alabama had failed. you would think that they would have had press regarding the tests that worked before but not issued as a pr from afrr. what a poorly run press program.

anyone mind giving a call over and don't talk to the secretary. Find out the real info. They are not giving us full disclosure. They have deals we don't know about. How I know this is that two weeks ago I contacted them about being a reseller and they slipped out that they were already working on major deals. This is why I know something is up and am holding long.

This is negative press. tells me that application and/or directions aren't fool proof. Something seems amiss with the press release!

The PR was negative in an obvious CYA kinda way, however if one looks at the big picture from these levels this stock is about to pop. Granted it will not be the preformer that pghi is reaching copper in the near term but, I will be buying tommorow

If anyone learns anything at all from AFRR, it should be this, which dumb me learned the hard way ! ALWAYS, ALWAYS set a stop, mental or actual, when you buy a stock like this. It's like this to me: just say AFRR is trading at $51.00; now who in the world would hold any stock like this if the price dropped down to $45.00. Hopefully, not many. But dumb me, I was hoping for some kind of 100%+ run or something, and forgot about the real business at hand. JMHO....

Breakout, you are not the only one. My first lesson in this game was: Stop selling too soon....My second lesson was: Dammit, don't hold too long you greedy bastage. Both lessons are posted on my refrigerater. I am gratefull for finding this board, for with the tutilage of guys like Mach and the all-knowing and ever-relaxed Mullet, we shall all make money and soon be capable of making similar predictions. Thereby transfering the GDP of the US from fram service/ farming/ manufacturing/ tech, to administrative. I for one would like to thank both Mach for his insight and dilligence, and Mullet for his ability to quell frantic hastiness among us all

does anyone else feel that good news is coming, after being masked by that weird piece of news today? You have to wonder why someone would release some bad news like that, especially bad news that no one even heard about.

Over on the RB board a lot of people heard about the failed test and were waiting for some sort of PR addressing it. Would've been better if it happened a little sooner since the failed test happened about a week ago, no one mentioned it on here though, but it was talked about quite a bit on RB.

Fifty, the news was released to save face after an unsucsessful test of their product. Granted, the product was used improperly by what I would call a moron, but it was televised. Bottom line, they were combatting word of mouth advertising. Did they succeed?....No they did not. Investors don't want excuses, they want results. AFRR has failed. Too bad because they could have well been where PGHI is today if they had not flooded the market with too many shares, or if they had made the glove box (which is their most probable profit maker) their main focus, or if they had secured a major reseller such as walmart for their precious Tree Safe. They screwed up it is that simple

Is anyone thinking of buying this stock. You know that their going to release another PR eventually, probablly after christmas. And ofcourse it will say that their christmas sales were good. That PR should shoot their stock up a little. Any opinions. After all they did have TREESAFE in a couple of hardware stores and and christmas tree stands.
