first thank you for the kind words. i am trying to do a little dd on the current afrr situation.

i just got off of the phone with randy betts at afrr.

he is in charge of their physical operations where in addition to what we know affr for, which is tree safe and the yet to be produced in china glove box, they are treating fabrics and other materials as in their job at the miami international airport.

he stated that the tree safe product was an attempt to break into retailing and that it has been a big learning curve for them. the negative test was done by a fire marshall in alabama in a town where live christmas trees are banned. he felt that the fire marshall was trying to prove live trees were unsafe in the test rather than tree safe being an effective fire proofing method. he stated though he expected they would issue more press releases before christmas he didn't expect to have anything specific to report at this time re tree safe. when i asked about chains carrying them, he mentioned that he understood a couple of ace hardware stores were carrying the product but could not be specific.

he said that the core business of afrr will continue despite the tree safe product, and that the glove box machines that he was not in charge of, were sopposed to be in the works to be sent to china. he felt afrr was here to stay and would be around for years to come based on the regular fire proofing work that they do. he personally does not follow the daily stock price moves, and based on that i will continue to try to call the other contact ed g---? (i have his name written down but cant put my hands on it right now).

my own take on this is that there could be some more downside to this and that unless the next press release has some exciting results, this will remain a beta only play until glove box happens or some other large commercial contract is awarded. i will post as soon as i have any further info.

as always make your own decisions on this. it represents a very small position for me so i can be less in a hurry for results. i will likely take the loss this year if it continues to drop and re evaluate my interest in afrr when the wash sale period passes. i am on hold with this until the next press or until the end of the year.

Uncle Milty, provided that they do stay in business how low can the price of this stock go? What's your guesstimate?
Thanks DZ

dz, i think we could see levels like where i first started buying in the .0012 range. i hope it doesn't drop below .0015, but am watching this for a possible additional buy point, if i get a call back from ed growitz (sp?) as i still think there is upside from current levels on news. i am trying to pick up several stocks that are close to the bottom of their beta cycle from my point of view.

once again, i am stealing computer time, so please be patient if i don't reply quickly.

it turns out the motherboard on my toshiba is defective from the last conversation with toshiba tech support. i will send it back to the states with a friend.

i am trying to buy a hp wireless laptop with the wide screen from sams to be brought to me in two weeks.

Uncle Milty,

That name is Ed Grysiewicz with email egrys@treesafe.com and phone of 949-679-7849

His name was give to me when I called AFRR and asked about shareholder information. I sent him an email and left a message on his voice mail last week (asking about the dropping share price and future plans) and have not had a reply from either.

Looks like to go out now is not a move, If it sinks more, it won't be too far so we will have to wait and see. Didn't they say sales for treesafe were more then expected in one PR? Remember, Marketmakers brought her down on news a few times and wanted to buy up more. They will still want a payday. Old Millet, did you get the feeling at all he was holding back on you? I think they have a silence thing going on.

chill and other afrr investors,

i just had a lengthy conversation with ed, and he seemed to feel that considering their late start into the christmas retail market that they were doing well. he felt this was establishing both credibility and product recognition for the coming (2004) season. he explained that they were currently working toward getting the product into orderbooks for next season. he could not be specific because of insider implications. in his hypothetical discussion he did refer to very well known chains.

he said the response to the advertising and the tests was encouraging and while we were talking he said 9 people were currently visiting the web site. he expected that there would be further press releases between now and christmas, but was not in charge of that. his main concern was to make the current and future marketing of tree safe and 3 in one move forward. we spoke of future products and he thought it would be a good idea and a possibility but with the small staff the focus had to stay on tree safe for now.

he also had no information on glove box as that was being handled by "steve" (?). by the time we got to that question i felt that he was making it clear his job was marketing of tree safe and 3 in 1 hero. he had returned my call at international long distance rates and we spoke for about 20 min about the difficulty of breaking into a new retail market when they first started with tree safe in july. they are a small team and have recently been overwhelmed with e mails and phone calls regarding their stock and their product. he mentioned that the tv stations that had tested the product also had many calls after the product was tested. he mentioned in particular a test in albany new york that the reporter claimed recieved a large resonse.

anyway, my take on all of this, is that he seemed sincere, is also a shareholder, but has no time to follow the stock as we do here. he felt that there was a future for the product based upon this year's response.

i asked if he felt there would be a need to issue additional shares to finance the coming year's efforts and he said no. for the tree safe product they would seek financing based upon the orders they would receive. many orders for christmas shipments to big chains for the coming season would be at the end of the 2nd quarter according to ed.

i am on hold with my position and will be watching it closely between now and christmas. i will likely go to a free share position if we see pop and wait to see what happens into the new year.

this is to add to the dd you should be doing to make your own decision.

This now makes more sense out of my previous DD. It appears that they tried to make the moves for this year but found it easier to work for setting up 2004. At the same time, they are selling a lot of treesafe bottles on their own and making some good money from them. They hinted at me they had big deals but most were for next year. At the same time, they still haven't given up making it happen for this year but time is not on their side. I am sticking with my hold possition. We should hopefully see a pop or two in the next few weeks. Thats Millet for stepping in. I knew it took at good fisherman to dig here. Nine people to the site in that short time is EXCELLENT!

Thanks Uncle Milty,
Yes it did take a seasoned trader to get a reply from Ed - and on his international nickel. I'm holding.

actually there were 9 people on the internet site at the same time from the way i understood it. he said as many as 35 have logged on simultaneously during "air time" for tree safe. the share price today, so far, looks a little more stable. don't forget the mms part in the price we see. also many might be selling for tax reasons.

this could be a real bargain from a long perspective, and tree safe is really only one part of the picture. it seems we have been concentrating our perspective on the christmas play for this year, and for the investors that can wait this might be something that will move well on news of their ongoing 16 year operation and the glovebox during the coming year. i can afford to watch almost indefinatly, as i am still in a gain position, and this isn't really a big $ position for me.

yes i am a fisherman, big time. ms. mullet says my f350 4x4 with a utility bed is the worlds only diesel powered tackle box. normally being out on my oat is what i would be doing right now instead of trading stocks into december. nov through april or may are my "play months" but i am going for a personal record this year with my stock portfolio. kind of like fishing in a way, except if you are successful the catch included dom perignon to wash down the dinner with.

i think there should be plenty of movement long before the end of 2004. the statistics from this christmas' sales will help this allot. much depends on if we get a pop in the next 10 days or so.

TRAC 650K is an obviously account to manipulate short sell order.

Any cheaper stock than AFRR? anyone can recommend it?
