Well, my days are pretty much numbered over at Pro boards. The bully mentality there has gotten much too heavy.....deleting the article by Webb and smiting the guy for doing it is an example.

I have tried to post with some reason and its already hinted that I too am now a basher. Very interesting and cool stuff....things that make you go HMMMM

Yes I see that! Nice try though!
Ive done the same thing here, attacked people that come off as bashers. Im certainly not innocent....I just felt the need to "speak up" and now I know who the sensitive people are at that site lol
I stopped posting there for that reason! I was accused of being a basher when all I had was questions...oh well.

update by wsshaker

I finally got through to the Bartow County Animal Control, and spoke to Ms. Elrod. The quotes are true, as Ms. Elrod did speak to Lee Webb. To the best of her knowledge there were two foals, both of which have passed. Very upsetting if contest continues under these circumstances, and it does not sit well with me.

Finally in the sub penny's - YUK! My certs are signed by JA - I was trying to figure out what Rufus was saying about that. I get the explaination that they are AIR. But what about being signed by TUT? At these prices I guess it doesn't matter.

I see that "Unbridled Desire" is no longer listed there. He mentioned he lost one of his "best" stallions and im guessing Sixto and UD were his best so im wondering if UD was the stallion that died. I believe (through some boring DD) that he bought those stallions sometime around January 06. Im not sure how much he studded those guys out but this loss probably damaged his income heavily.

Cat If these charges are true RPH won't get any of his horses back.

What is confusing to me is the time that these horses died...the AC claims that they got a court order to go onto the property and feed the horses...that they were going 2x a day...for 2 weeks? well if that was the case? how come these horses are dieing now?

It was said that that RPH moved them...and that 2 (I think) died in the move? I really don't get it...

OK..maybe I am reading it wrong...and the horses died BEFORE the AC people were involved...it isn't clear to me...but in that webb article..it states that 17 horses were on his 3 acres...and earlier on it states that he gave one away and moved 2 to a diferent county...plus the 3 adults that died...yet they have him on 16 counts of animal cruelty...how many horses did the guy have?

"We actually went to his property for two weeks, twice a day, feeding and watering them seven days a week; and then once we found a place to take them to, we removed them from the property," the Bartow animal control director says.

Ms. Elrod says that there was not any stable or similar structure on the property where Mr. Harris was keeping his starving horses.

"It was a fenced-in area that was maybe two to three acres, if it was that -- maybe not that big -- but with 17 horses on it, gnawing at it, they were already down to the dirt," Ms. Elrod told **********.

10, the whole story stinks and im waiting on legal docs to say which way or the other. The comments at the "other board" insinuating that now even animal control is part of "The Evil Organization" is lame at best. Rufus is hurting himself by having that message board up.....or is using it for some other reason.

it don't add up do it?

nobody in their right mind keeps more than 2 horses on 3 acres.... even if you are feeding? that in and of itself would be borderline cruelty IMO...

and the only reason i would consider having two on three acres is cuz horses don't like to be alone....

in optimum grazing conditions? you should have MIN. 2 acres per horse..

I sincerely hope we have something very concrete (regarding our legal situation) before any type of shareolder vote or some other nonsense occurs. I cant even tell you how much it would totally suck if we found ourselves in a vote after the crazy stuff that has been transpiring recently.

So far ive seen nothing concrete from either side (Rufus / SEC,bad guys, whatever) so IMO there has been noting but a plethora of ineptitude from the groups involved in this company...and its potential demise. No matter who was right or wrong here, IMO they both screwed the pooch dry.

Very interesting thoughts there 10. I think you might just have something there. I've really been looking for something to make me believe Rufus and not everyone else, but it is pretty hard. Faith alone is getting hard to pull me through this. Like Catman...I don't really see anyone proving anything here one way or the other. I'm getting back to the feelings that I just want the court to figure this thing out!

The one scenario from James Gee is that Rufus lost the ranch because he couldn't make the payments and had to take the horses to his house. This does kind of fit in with most of the story. There was also some talk about him giving at least one of the horses away. Sounds really weird. Why would a breeder give a horse away? Maybe it wasn't one of the good ones. Oh well...crazy stuff as always.

Like sands through an hourglass....

Honestly?
We know that RPH was leasing the "ranch"...to keep the horses that he really hasn't had for very long...OK..now
The lease is up...perhpas RPH simply didn't have the $ for the lease...wasn't sure where to put them...there was already a complaint on the care of the horses...the AC was out there...and now comes time for RPH to move the horses...well...if I remember his place correctly...it sure as heck isn't big enough for 1 or 2 horses...let alone how ever many he did have...so yeah..my guess is that they were removed from RPH and he would be charged with animal cruelty...
The starving thing with the AC supposedly going out 2x a day for 2 weeks wouldn't make sense...it must have been the move...
BUT RPH seems to be twisting it into a conspiracy...and maybe that is what he thinks..or maybe...It was a big bad guy that first reported hime when there was no reason to...heck i don't know...IMO

What is this "dinner" that RPH is going to? the one that he claims is the same time as him having to be in court for a leash law...and claims that it is a conspiracy?

i really am not "bashing"...I know my posts "sound" like it...but they are simply questions and to be honest...i am filled to the rim with the conspiracy stuff...

10, I understand you totally! I question the same things myself. Everything seems to be a conspiracy to him. I guess I just don't see it. Plus how on earth would a leash law violation have anything to do with the outcome of CSHD??

To get invited to a diner either he is friends with a member or he is a member.

I know I have probably sounded like a basher over the last couple of months but I don't believe it is bashing. As long as there is a basis for a question or comment instead of it being a complete fabrication how can it be called bashing. the same goes for pumping.

IMO, the biggest problem in the complete lack of transparency and the promises that have failed to materialize. When you couple that frustration with the whole conspiracy theory it just becomes a bit much. I don't want to delve into the conspiracy too much but let me point out what doesn't make sense. Ok so his has to go to court for a lease law violation. Get there first thing in the morning, take care of business and hop on a short flight from Georgia to DC. It's less than a 2 Hour flight.

Maybe I'm just looking at this in to simple a manner but it's just how I would handle the inconvience.

On second thought, I'm tired of hearing about horses and dogs from Rufus when this should be about the stock period. The last episode with the Dogs and Rufus stating it was an attack on him and his family because of what he was doing just ranckled me. Be cause it turned out to be a neighbor who was protecting his own animals.
