I have no idea where this information is truly going, some guy bybthe name of dog, no disrepect to him as a shareholder but i have seen nothing offering security to this, I was a victim one time of ID fraud over something that was supposed to be innocent, why cant they file forms, notorize them prove who they are before wanting information..

You have a point there. But I guess as long as there is nothing on SS# or anything like that it is mostly stuff they could get out of the phone book. Hopefully I did not screw up.

My concern is that of how this committee was not only created but how its being managed.
Not that I can do it any better- Hats off to the folks putting in the personal time to set it up!
Other stocks I have owned have shareholder portals and other things built into the companies website. They are a little more official.
Shareholder complaints are not a PM over HSM. Or a message to someones home email. Its a part of the company.
For all I know this server is some computer sitting at someones house rigged up willy-nilly style on the internet.
NO protection or guarantees of personal data security.

And, to Rufus’ right will be King Tutankhamen speaking in tongue about cobras attacking, the Phoenix rising, and the gates of victory. Yeah, I would say we are golden!
Still catching up but this made me laugh...

I was thinking we could get a permit to sell kool-aid on the side walk somewhere to recoupe some of our losses....

Two things... one good and one bad. At least the server has a certificate, and works under the https protocol. Too bad it is set up incorrectly and all transmissions are not secure. Make sure if you submit that registration form, that you do so to the HTTPS address, and the little lock is visible on the bottom of your browser.

As of right now I am not planning on signing onto the S.H. committee, but I'm concerned that you have to be a member to attend the meeting on the 17th in DC. I have my stock cert and I plan on bringing it to the meeting to verify that I am a shareholder, even though I am on the NOBO list. Does anyone know if you have to be a committee member to attend the meeting on the 17th?

I wasn't speaking of data interception during transmission (what ssl protects against) I was speaking of just the unknown server sitting who knows where behind who knows what protection.
And who knows who as access to it? Its just an unknown environment collecting 100's and 100's of sharedholders personal data.
Yes I am a security geek.

I think if you show up holding certs you should be able to get in the door. I doubt anyone would get turned away from joining in the fun.

If this hasn't hit by then I am going to dress like a street person and rub hot dog water on my clothes so I stink.
Go in with a change jar and a name tag with current share position
Just kidding

One geek to another I get your concern, and feel your pain. I am agreeing with you on the destination of the info being an enigma, and I am also agreeing that the holder of the information is also an enigma. just pointing out that the Certificate is being used improperly, and that too has my panties in a bunch.
I hate the lact of privacy statements, name disclosures, and encryption tools. I have chosen at this point in time not to take the risk, but if I understand the "deadline" and reasoning for the deadline I may take the chance.
Not too worried about my identity being stolen. I am a dog that has bite. (or should I say byte)

I doubt this meeting will even take place, lots of time to call it off for whatever reason. I had no plans to attend anyway WOT IMO!

Not a waist of my time mad, I live in Baltimore and DC is only 45 min away. Why not see what's going on with our situation, since Rufus has stopped his speeches on SPR and HSM. I'm going and I'm sure some people will appreciate someone from this board attending. Don't worry, since it is a waist of your time, I promise not to share any info with you!

Sorry to hear that P Rowds. Someone stole my c.c. info a couple months back and did the same thing to me. I can't imagine what kind of person does that to another, blows my mind. Hope you recoupe what you lost...

bump . . . or is it just like anything requesting information? - if you don't put a deadline on it, people won't do it.
